Great!
I am disabled and can’t go to the shops myself easily. I love the new stock check feature, because I can check what I am asking my carer to get is in stock before they go, saving a wasted trip, and also allowing me to look for alternatives and put those down for them instead, so they aren’t second guessing the replacement.
Fix the add to favourites bug
Haven’t been able to add anything to my favourites for weeks. Tried deleting and reinstalling. Given up with the app.
In app shopping list
I love the in app shopping list for my local store and use it every week now it’s so much easier as it tells you which aisle the product is in. I do have a suggestion though possibly adding the total price of the shop that I’ve added to my shopping list would be really helpful for budgeting.
Freezes and makes phone hot
The app regularly freezes or slows almost to a stop. And this is on an iPhone 16 Pro. Also makes the phone very hot.

A dreadful service late loads of stuff missing driver don’t know what day it is and then fifteen minute wait on the phone through all sorts of unhelpful automated chatbots - frankly I’d rather starve
Orders confirmation screen doesn’t appear after payment via AMEX
After completing card payment the app returns to the make payment page rather than the order confirmation page, even though it has gone through
Always slow & crashing
App is consistently slow and buggy. Crashes out or says no internet connection.
Sometimish
This would be a really good app as I use it to check what is in stock at my local store before I make my way shopping. Occasionally the items will show the correct prices and stock but very rarely. I have often gone in and it is either not stocked, out of stock, or not on club card price as advertised on the app. This glitch has been going on for at least a year. And I’m surprised it’s not been rectified as yet.

Becoming unusable
Have a 16 Pro Max and yet as of recently the apps become almost completely unusable. Every shop the UI gets slower and slower until it stops responding completely and I have to kill and restart it. Now every shop involves at least 2 - 3 app restarts just to get through it.
Remove app tracking prompt
Worked perfectly till latest update. Now gives us a prompt re apple tracking but for older iOS that doesn’t have this feature it won’t go! So app is now unusable
Great potential but….
This app really has a lot of potential but it is way too laggy and slow unless you live in a 5G area. It feels like the app is so complex its progress is glacial and soooo embarrassing to use in store. Come on Tesco, you get so much of our money, how about a more streamlined app, every little helps!!
Currently Useless
(iOS 27.0.1) - App is essentially unusable. Starts off well, allows limited navigation as expected but when scrolling through one grocery category after the other, scrolling grinds to a halt and will lock up for several seconds before allowing further input. This is an issue that seriously needs addressing before I can recommend this app. I’ve abandoned 4 baskets now due to simply not being able to fluidly navigate.
Does the job I guess
It does the job but gradually slows down with use until I have to close and relaunch the app for it to work properly again.
Update broke search and filtering
This app has always done exactly what I needed it to do. But recently updates have broken several things. Search seems a little bit sketchy. For example, I searched for hand wash and also handwash and only got four results that were Tesco results instead of marketplace results. Filtering by favourites also doesn't work. I also don't want to see sponsored items either.
Can’t remove the basket

Very glitchy at the moment
Something has happened and it’s almost unusable due to how much glitch is happening as you navigate and add items, please sort this out.
App won’t work
Used app for years. Suddenly it won’t work and won’t refresh 🤬
Confusing
Compared to Sainsbury’s, Waitrose or Ocado, the Tesco app is the most confusing. Needs to show product rating in the list view over just in the detail, and enabling the marketplace results to be hidden would help no end.
Constant bugs
Third week in a row where the app has been so slow and buggy, that it felt quicker and certainly less frustrating to drive to Sainsbury’s!!!
Security risk and scam
The app is a security risk and Tesco are farming your data for profit and. Abusing customers with club card prices and over priced shopping go to another shop stop paying for this price gauging
Marketplace - Non
I don’t want marketplace shoved down my app, if I wanted that I’d be on eBay. You should be able to filter it out. It’s a lot of friction when you just want milk ….
