Payment issues
This app is a joke!! I had and account previously I closed it because it kept saying failed when I tried to make a payment. This was on multiple devices with different cards. So I made a new account hoping this would work, it hasn’t it’s failed again! I’m annoyed because all yesterday I was trying to get Pokemon 30th Anniversary. I managed on different occasions to get it in my basket and everytime I would try to pay. Failed and then after multiple attempts I would get its not out of stock. So annoyed is an understatement!! This app needs sorting ASAP!!!
App has glitches
Just used the app to purchase 2 items. I was in the checkout stage. Pressed pay by Apple and then double clicked to pay. Was sent back to checkout with no confirmation. This happened another 3 times. Then the app took me to the sign in page 3 times and each time I signed in, it repeated the request. It then took me to the nectar sign in page too. By now I’m getting bored so swiped the app upwards to remove the page. Reopened the app and clicked on more to show my account of all my previous purchases which were listed. So, I’m signed in ! Went back to checkout and repeated purchase and it worked. All very odd and time consuming indeed.
There is a small problem which hasn’t been fixed. since a very long time.
The App is updated from time to time, but I can see a small problem which exist for a long time. Each time when you removing something from wish list, the app is crashing. and you need to turn it on again
British company Much better than Amazon
Glad I switched to Argos when my Amazon Prime expired. Genuine reviews and the Q&A is very helpful. Great prices and not overwhelmed with Chinese products when I search. Also Necta points, great customer service when I collect. We always use Argos now. Even bought a Habitat bed which is well made and looks lovely. Thankyou Argos !
Broken app
Payments always fail. Screens in the app keep becoming unusable. Literally can’t buy with 3 different payment options tried. Been like this for months.
Payment & Trolly issue
Usually I don’t have any issues with Argos but today it was struggling to take my payment and then eventually emptied my trolly saying out of stock. I started again and it was fine. Purchase made.
Mixed
I have just bought a TV but why are 90% of the TV’s out of stock? Take them off the website. Also it would not let me link with my Nectar card. How disappointing. Well let’s just hope it’s a good tv.

I love shopping with Argos, I can buy almost anything from Sainsbury’s and Argos and get free click and collect to my local store, it makes life easier. I can always trust the collection will be quick and easy and the quality and value of goods are always very good
Unable to change email address
Does not give an option to change the email address of my account. Does not give any contact details for data controller. These are breaches of GDPR.

Pointless app for the stores within a large Sainsbury’s. There’s usually no cellular signal because they’re so huge. You can’t load your Order collection barcodes in advance, it only loads live online. So no way to get them in-store. Unless you pay for Sainsbury’s “day pass” to access their WiFi. Insane.

I have recently bought items from Argos and have been very pleased with my purchases. The ordering is easy and collection easy. Friendly staff as well. What’s not to like.

Not working with Argos Pay
I keep trying to check out with Argos pay but when I sign in with Argos pay at checkout it will ask for the code by text, and after I submit everything it takes me right back to the checkout part again and asks me to sign in again if. So basically I can’t use Argos pay as it is right now. And it’s not just the app but the main site too and I shouldn’t be having issues. Hopefully this will be fixed soon
