Very happy
I had the Neakasa M1 machine for a whole year with no issues. I updated the app today and I don’t see any see any technical problems with the app other reviews are saying. My two cat’s information and data are all still in the app after the update. My only wish is set auto cleaning scheduled for a certain time of the day. The cats have their own room to sleep for the night for safety (one cat likes to eat strings and the other likes cat likes to munch on plants nontoxic to cats) and their room is where the litter machine is kept. Their sleep gets interrupted when the machine starts the auto clean in the middle of the night whenever one of them of them uses it.
Privacy Scam
edit: the developer has issued a misleading response (see below). Precise location data is needed for some WiFi access (not all), but you are *still* giving this company your exact location data. They pinky promise they don’t collect it, but they *have to* for their particular access to WiFi. Are they deleting the data? Are they storing it? “Trust me bro” is the developer’s response reworded. Other apps I have (Phillips Hue) use my WiFi daily but do not require precise location data. Why does this company? I choose to not trust this developer and I don’t think you should either. ——— Demands precise location for the app to work. This isn’t needed, it’s a scam to harvest data.

Needs major updates
As someone who’s used the Litter Robot’s app for the last 4 years, I can confidently say this app is the one area where they are far superior. The interface is generic and hard to see, box cleaning status should be more obvious, and it’s glitchy. When I first open it, my box isn’t on there more often than not. It takes about 30 seconds for it to show up. The cat’s weight is constantly switching from lbs to kgs. My cats’ profile pictures regularly disappear. IMO the Neakasa box is far superior over Litter Robot, but I think the poor functionality of the app could be preventing tech savvy owners from buying one. A little fine tuning of the app from developers could make a HUGE difference.
NO NOTIFICATION SETTINGS
DO NOT BUY.
Gut aber…
Gute App.
Beyond basic to the point of being inaccurate
No way to correct which cat when the wrong cat is detected. No way to assign an existing cat when it can’t tell which cat. Not able to put in cat names that contain spaces. Defaults to metric even when cat weights are put in as US Customary. Doesn’t automatically update cat weight when the correct cat is detected. Doesn’t keep a history of cat weight outside of the usage history. No way to export data to either CSV or JSON. Unnecessary collection of location data, there is exactly ZERO reason Neakasa needs to know where my litterbox is sitting.
Needs better translations
The English is really garbled in this app and makes some features hard to understand. Please improve this!
Cool
It came with everything I needed and it’s just that cool y’all might be hating
Cant connect to wifi
Tried to do everything in a wifi setting checking configuration suddenly this M1 litter box cant connect to wifi this sucks this is a expensive “automatic” but not gonna be automatic i cant use the app
Update
Hi, please update app to send banner notification when a cat is entering the litter. As often away from home, this would reassure me on the correct functionning of the litter.
Odaya gitmiyor
Defalarca haritalama yapıyorum odaları ayırmıyor üç odayı tek oda yapıyor, ayırmaya çalışıyorum kabul etmiyor, yatak odası ve çocuk odası asla temizlenmiyor dönüp dönüp salonu süpürüyor. Asla düzenlenmiyor, uygulama çöp resmen neabot uyg. Bundan elli kat iyiydi
Yardım
Rica ediyorum , robotumdan çok memnunum fakat ara sıra çevrim dışı görünüyor lütfen bu yazılım işini halledin artık
Working great for us!
We’ve been using this app for a couple of months on multiple boxes and it’s been amazing! We love our Neakasas, they’ve been a game changer for our little cat sanctuary. 😻
Great while it lasted
I loaded this app a month ago and included the info on my three cats. I was pleased to see their usage of the litter box shown in app. Nice to know who was - and wasn’t - using it. This morning I opened the app - and all data had disappeared. Cat names and weights, usage over the last month, everything. But I was still logged in. I tried re-adding my cats but I kept getting the message that the info couldn’t be saved, try again. After 10 attempts to save even one cat’s info, I gave up. Hoping a clean install of the app would help, I deleted and reinstalled the app. Now I can’t even log in. So much for tracking my cats’ usage. For the price I paid for the litter box (which works great and I’m very happy with) you’d think they could create an app that matched their product. Guess their focus is on expensive litter boxes, not apps and customer support. Don’t bother with the app. It sucks.
Funcional
Works good when it works
This app works fine but loves to sign you out without notice every few weeks leaving you without important notifications about being full or upside down.

App works fine. Can use it on the go. All the features work fine. No complaints
App is horrible
Zero tech support, just updated and now won’t let me log into my account or setup a new one.
☺️🤔
Poor
Where does the roster of cats go when you add a cat? The calibration feature isn’t consistent. App is not intuitive.
Katzenklo funktioniert reibungslos
Can’t even log in anymore
App stopped giving me data on my cat’s litter box usage, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and now I can no longer log in. Keeps telling me request failed. FIX IT.

Improving…
Set up of the app was a little complicated because the instruction are not very clear. It's worth mentioning hear that the instructions in the manual are not very clear either. Once I was able to get the app set up I was disappointed to learn that the litter box will only maintain and track usage of up to three cats. This kind of litter box is especially usefu for multi-cat households. it is unfortunate that the tracking feature allowing monitoring of daily habits using this app will not be possible for users like myself. In a perfect world this app would be designed for households with many cats, but if I had one request it would be to rewrite the software to be able to track as many as reasonably possible.
Practical and Easy to Use
The app does its job, no issues with connectivity, alerts are on time, and can manage my litter box from work or home
Cat activity now missing
I get notifications for my cat entering the litter box but the activity is missing from the logs
Functional, with small bugs.
Functions okay. The only problem I have is when I change a setting I will hear the machine beep, indicating it received the changed setting but the UI does not change in the app. You can log in again later and the UI still shows the wrong setting even though the machine has the correct one. This bug specifically effects the smart cleanup delay time after entering the most.
It’s really not a good app
The app cannot reliably distinguish between my 4, very different-weight cats, and many of the notifications are just straight up wrong. Like a notification will say the bag is full when it’s just a few hours old, or that the box is upside down when it’s actually fine. But I’m super satisfied with the litterbox itself, so hopefully one day the app will work as well.
Parfait. Merci
App is useless.
I can’t even register and sign up for an acct. I looked online to find out why and it says it can’t use 5G! What the hell kind of WiFi device can’t use 5G!? The only way to put the machine in manual/kitten mode so it doesn’t scare her is through the app. Now I have to return a $500 litter box. This is ridiculous.

App needs updates
I enjoy the product, but the app needs work. Lately, I get a notification that my cat has visited and when I open the app the visit record is completely blank. I can’t review it. And when I click the connect to a representative option under support, nothing happens.

Awful.
Can’t access anything. Fails to allow login, won’t allow me to reset my password. Can’t recalibrate the litter without access. Absolutely awful.

Why is there no ‘empty’ button on the app?
The ‘empty’ button is wonky on my machine. It works but it takes forever to get it to work because the button doesn’t unstick. It would make so much sense to have that functionality from the app so I don’t have to deal with that broken button. Also, I don’t know if it’s the broken button or the machine is just stupid, but for days after I empty the bin, it will empty itself at completely random times without me telling it to. For DAYS. And it’s really hard to tell it to stop. Would be nice if the app tracked the emptying and had a hard stop button or something. Either way, this machine is more annoying than it’s worth. If it hadn’t been a gift, I would never have gotten this and I wouldn’t recommend it to other people in its current state with the price tag. It also has way too many crevices that litter falls into and makes a huge mess under the machine. I know they have ‘tape’ to fix that, but you have to request it. Just send it! It’s YOUR design flaw.
