TL;DR: app and robot vacuum are pretty disappointing Sign up/onboarding was a disaster. They disallow emails using plus (+) so if you use Gmail aliases, you cannot with this app. They require you to have a complex password but force you to keep it short without any UX indication so I kept trying with a generic invalid indicator. Default Apple generated ones don’t work so it increases sign up friction. Their robot spec wise are amazing value especially compared to my existing Roborock. Too bad the software is junk. UI buttons use faded colors giving off the appearance of a disabled button. Doesn’t have scheduled zone clean up/routines like Roborock. Doesn’t seem to drain the washboard on its own. Overall experience is pretty poor.

Not bad but wish it didn't disconnect as much as it does on the app when checking. Also the 1.2" trimming is way to far down in the grass. It shows an actual border. Can we get the to come up to 2" then I can use it all the time.

Registrierung hat er nach dem dritten Versuch geklappt. Die dargestellten Informationen zum password sind nicht vollständig und man darf raten woran es liegt. Geheim Tipp: ein nicht all zu langes Passwort wählen…. Irgendwie wirkt die ganze App wie so ne typische Ramschladen App. Ala AliExpress und co. Buttons sind vorhanden, können aber nicht gedrückt werden. Fehlermeldung ? Nö so was gibt es nicht. Die ganze App is sehr unübersichtlich und hat ne Shop Integration ?! Ich hoffe der Roboter funktionier besser als diese App.

Bisher sehr gut, aber Karte zu klein
Im Vergleich zu meiner vorherigen Dreame App schlägt sich diese App sehr gut, allerdings ist mir sofort aufgefallen, dass (zumindest auf dem größeren iPad, auf dem Smartphone vielleicht weniger) der Bereich, in dem die Wohnungskarte/-plan angezeigt wird, deutlich größer ausfallen könnte.
Sehr kompliziert und schlecht übersetzt
Zuerst einmal ist die App wirklich grauenhaft schlecht ins Deutsche übersetzt. Und ich finde die App auch sehr kompliziert und viele Funktionen finde ich einfach nicht. Zum Beispiel einfach mal nur einen Raum auswählen und saugen, oder eine Reinigung ändern oder abbrechen. Daher nur 2 Sterne

I don’t get the hate. This app is decent and has everything that is needed.
There may be better apps, but for those of us coming from Rowenta, this app is quite convenient.
Ads
First: you have to download the app to use the vacuum. Not great, but acceptable. Where the app fails is that it will spam your phone at odd hours with ads for marginal “sales” and other advertising junk. I already paid several hundred for the vacuum. Spare me the ads.
Gute App mit Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten
An sich finde ich die MOVAhome App sehr gut und intuitiv. Alles was der Roboter machen soll, kann man hierüber steuern. Allerdings habe ich zwei Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten. Erstens, wäre eine Steuerung von vorprogrammierten Aufgaben über Widgets/Siri sehr hilfreich, um so schnell Reinigungen zu starten. Zweitens wäre es sehr gut, wenn man nicht nur eckige verbotene Zone einrichten könnte, sondern auch Runde. Wir haben zum Beispiel einen runden Standfuß, bei dem der Roboter immer Probleme hat. Hier wäre eine runde, verbotene Zone perfekt. Ansonsten sehr solide!

Cannot get widgets to work and haven’t ever worked. Iphone 17 Pro (18,1) ios 26.4 Annoying.

ich finde die App soweit ok, man findet was man sucht zwar nicht immer auf Anhieb, nach ein bisschen Suchen geht es aber. Was ich richtig schlecht finde ist der Kontrast der Überschriften wie z. B. das Datum in den Nachrichten. Es gibt mehrere solche Einträge die man schlecht ablesen kann, sowohl in der normalen wie auch in der „Dark“ Variante/Thema
Mova P50pro
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der App, viele Einstellmöglichkeiten und kann Routinen einstellen und auch einzelne Räume reinigen. Saugen, wischen, Kombination oder auch auslassen von Bereichen. Eigentlich nichts, was man vermisst und alles funktioniert.

I would not recommend anyone purchase a Mova vacuum at this time. Every time you open the app, there is a pop-up ad. There is no way to turn off the ads.

Software feels dated
The app interface feels developed by the last generation UI designer and lacks the modern app feeling. The font size is tiny and cannot be adjusted. Also not sure why they put a shopping mall in the prominent position of the main UI. The app feels like another Chinese e-commerce app like Taobao instead of a cool tech focused IoT app.

Funktioniert. Das Feedback könnte besser sein. Insb. was den Verlust der Netzwerkverbindung angeht. Routing ist manchmal auch nicht nachvollziehbar.
Mova p10 pro is great
Have been using Mova app for two weeks now. App is great. Neat functionality like no go zones, remote checking in on dog, excellent obstacle avoidance. Recommend app. Don’t get a cheap Mova get at least a p10 pro to have a good experience.

It works but needs some lovin’
I’m using MOVAhome to control my Mova P10 pro ultra and while it’s functional, it has several areas where it needs to improve. The interface is a little non-intuitive and it’s hard to manage jobs and set up schedules. As the vacuum cruises the house, it scans and updates the overall floor plan, but if it is able to see through an outside door, for example, it will create what I will call an infinity room with angled walls going out at 30° and then just fades to nothing. Once one of these is added there really isn’t a way to get rid of them. You can’t really edit the map to delete rooms. Overall, so far I love the vacuum. I just wish I could manage it a little bit better so that I can count on it to run jobs in selected rooms at selected times that I choose. For now I’m having to manually start every job except for one that cleans up the laundry room twice a day.

Works fine but you have to go through ads to use the robot and they keep asking you to opt into the mova home experience.
Apps not user-friendly
I expected better from the app. I don't find it user-friendly. There are a few bugs in some areas, including the space for creating shortcuts, but also for editing maps, which is not intuitive. I expected better considering that the vacuum cleaner itself does an excellent job. It's really in terms of the app that I find the product loses value.

Not a bad fork of the upstream Xiaomi/Dreame app. Gets the job done. A few bugs here and there but nothing earth shattering. It would be nice if the version updates actually had real descriptions so we could tell when they were fixed or what features were added.
MOVA V50 Ultra Complete at 50 °C
I was upset by the heating function in the “MOVA V50 Ultra Complete” at 50 °C. In fact, the water on the floor was not even warm. Although the mode was selected correctly, I suggested increasing the temperature to fill the water tank with 70 °C, as there was a lot of heat lost and this feature was a deception for consumers. Please solve this issue.

P10 Ultra
Works fine for me. Not perfect but that’s why Mova updates regularly. Biggest hassle is it tries to mop my wall to wall burl carpet. I ended up marking all rugs & carpets with “No Mop” zones. It’s learning :)

Every time you open the app, there’s an ad you need to dismiss. Totally unacceptable for a $1000+ robot vacuum.
The Badge That Won’t Die
One of the great mysteries of this app is the ever-present “1” badge that refuses to go away. You open the app, poke around like you’re looking for buried treasure, and… nothing. If an alert doesn’t tell you what it’s alerting you about, what’s the point? Renaming a room is another adventure—it’s tucked so deep in the settings you half expect a prize for finding it. And the map? It’s apparently living its own life, adding ghostly room extensions after every cleaning run. The robot seems unbothered, but the map looks like it’s slowly losing its mind.

Privacy Violation
The updated privacy statement requires. I give this app access to my browser history. If I refused to do this, the expensive vacuum that I purchased will no longer function. I struggle to understand why my vacuum application needs access to my browser history.

So far, really enjoying the robot vacuum but I don’t understand why you cannot enable the side brush on carpet. Can this kindly be in the next update?
Very poorly designed interface
I really am trying to like this app because I love the MOVA. The truth is, the app is just horrible, and I get half-answers to my questions from support. Unless they drastically improve this app, I can’t really recommend the MOVA. 2 stars is being generous.

If you like, trying to get your device to connect to the Internet 16 different times with it never working and the app crashing constantly and restarting over and over and over and over again you found the right app!
Better setup info would make it perfect
Edited to raise to 4 stars. First the snag. The app kept telling me to connect my phone to 2.4 GHz wifi when it was already connected to 2.4 GHz. Instant fail with no recovery option. Turns out your phone has to ALLOW CHANGES to location settings. The internet info I could find only tells you location services must be turned on. If you have enhanced security on your phone and disallow location setting changes, the setup will fail with no explanation. The phone has to allow changes to location service settings for the duration of the setup. The failure mode when this ability isn’t active is completely misleading. The setup just crashes. Other than this, the app is great. I’ve used robot vacs for several years. This app has all the control features I expected and a few I didn’t expect. Organization isn’t always intuitive, but the app responsiveness is snappy, so looking around doesn’t take much time. If you can’t find something, you’re probably looking in the wrong place. The written functions aren’t always completely understandable. Pay attention to the pics when offered. They make sense, especially after playing with the app a couple of days.
Battery Drain
I had a feeling this app was a battery hog, but then I accidentally left the app open on my phone while it was sitting on my desk for about an hour and came back to 20%. I checked the usage in settings just this app had used 40% of my battery. That’s unacceptable. It’s the only app that makes my iPhone 17 Pro run hot like the 16 used to.
Missing features
The app is a bit slow. The biggest issue though is the lack of features on dreame models like enabling sidebrush on carpets which makes cleaning rug floors very lackluster.

Was fine until they started pushing ads through push notifications. Not putting up with that so now I have no idea what my vacuum is up to. Every time I open the app there’s a giant banner and covering my vacuum.
iPad version please
App functions and works great but I have to scale it up on iPad. I used the iPad as my main controller for my smart home products. Would be nice to have full screen and better use of the larger screen.
The app is as bad as the robot
I can’t recommend anyone using this app. Several problems. The app consistently logged me out, and I have to log back in. That happens with many apps. However, when this app forces you to log back in the app is unstable for quite some time. Currently, I can’t set the schedule because the request times out. That is a common problem with this app and programming. This robot is extremely challenging. Simply put this app is just sloppy
Can’t change carpet cleaning mode.
For some reason, I can’t change the robots carpet cleaning mode to detach mops. It keeps automatically resetting back to “Ignore” every time I set the “detach mops” setting. The robot ended up mopping all my carpet although I keep changing it to “detach mops” Great robot, just needs these bugs fixed
