Requires a stupid verification code sent via email because everyone has to take a piece of your data now a days just to loose it in a data breach later. Just to use a stupid vacuum have to sign my life away for crying out loud. Point is the stupid code never arrives until far after it’s expired. Impossible to bypass. Absolutely worthless app and already regretting my purchase. Why do these devs need to make everything overly complicated and then can’t actually quality test anything. Will be returning my item because of this absurd waste of my time.
Amazing product, slow app
The app is very hard on my phone and makes my phone temperature super hot. The robot is amazing though.
Great Vacuum - Horrible App
So far the L40s Ultra Vacuum works fine with lots of cleaning choices. It’s too bad that the app makes using the features difficult, if not impossible. I tried setting up the cleaning shortcut that allows you to adjust the settings for each room. Then I scheduled it to run at 5 am daily. Just finding the scheduling screen is a real challenge. But then the Vacuum just ran constantly with no way to cancel the cleaning. You can only pause it and send it home to recharge, after which it continues to run constantly. I taught computers and robotics for 30 years. I have set up my smart home with over 40 devices connected to my Wi Fi Router. I can voice control my 20 window blinds, all my locks, cameras, TV’s , yard water systems, fans and lights. But this app is difficult or impossible to use to control the robot vacuum. It’s so frustrating to have to return a great item, only because they don’t know how to make a good controlling app! The app on my other robot vacs., Roomba and Eufy work great. Get your app to work as it should Dreame, and I’ll give you five stars.
Notification overload
There’s a continuous stream of features and glitzy graphics transitions, animations, etc, that are cute and fun, but don’t address some real issues in the app. The app treats every event in the device as a notification, which provides notification overload. Notifications have to be categorized to be useful and manageable . Let’s face it, when it has a low battery, it’s nice to know, but as long as it’s not stuck somewhere and it goes back to recharge, do I care? No, I do not. I don’t need a notification. Maybe I care that it finished its cycle, and I want a notification on that. But I want to be able to turn that off. Because sometimes I just don’t care. It should just work and tell me when something doesn’t work Overall, the notifications are so noisy that you end up having to turn them all off which then takes away from the app and the device. It’s a shame, but the notification system is very poorly managed and designed.

Stop Sending Notification Ads!!
The vacuum is fine. STOP SENDING AD NOTIFICATIONS. I did not pay $800 on a vacuum to get stupid sale alerts! So its no notifications when the vacuum is stuck or get spam in my phone every day! STOP IT!

Stop the ads. I paid a lot for this appliance and don’t want ads, especially in notifications. Not ok.
Issue about Camera Access
The app is working fine but when you access the camera and exit it won’t open again unless you shut down the app completely and re-open again? I think it could be fixed.
Great machine- App is not working
App opens but when you click on your machine it just shuts down the app. When the app is working this is the best setup on the market, but can you please fix the app?

New app now just shows you ads everytime you open it.

Needs overhaul
Can we stop with the nonstop self promotion and ads, it’s too much. Simplify the app. It’s a utility to run a vacuum, and it shouldn’t be any more than that. Make maps and map editing better. Make managing and setting up schedules and options simpler. Make notifications useful instead of cramming in even more ads. Please make my +$1000 experience better.
Struggling more with the app than the unit
I just picked up an X60 ultra pro, unit installed well although I couldn’t initially find its wifi .. but the app !.. on ios crashes constantly, UI is non intuitive on scheduling and where the options are, very confusing workflow.. Also mapping created phantom rooms through floor to ceiling windows that I can seperate and grey our but not delete and the one thing that still eludes me is how I can take a large open plan living space and seperate it into kitchen, lounge and dining room.. I can segment a room from one side to another but what happens if I want to box a kitchen ?… driving me nuts trying o work this out…Initial impressions is a fantastic unit, less battery life and slower mapping and vacuuming than I expected and the app needs some serious attention but suspect its a keeper !.. still need to try the mopping..

Fine hardware truly AWFUL software
Whatever husk of a human who developed this app needs to go work for grab or something. Truly the worst software I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Laggy, Buggy, awful. I hope they show this to whatever moron is responsible for this junk during their exit interview. I’m returning my device and getting another roborock. Certifiable junk.

Annoying subscription pop-up
There is an extremely annoying pop-up every time I open the app trying to get me to sign up for an email subscription. Get rid of it and I’ll switch to 5 stars.
Good, but buggy
Bug prevents saving custom rooms with custom cleaning routines. Changing selected rooms resets cleaning options and vice-versa. Needs to be fixed asap.
Laggy
You hit a button and 5 seconds later it finally responds. It’s awesome if you want to pretend it’s 2011.

Wheel sensor error keeps happening ever since the update this last week.
Very frustrating. We liked our L60 Ultra, but the wheel not touching the ground error keeps going off & won’t quit until we put it back on the base. I’ve powered it on and off & still the error persists. Cleaned all the sensors. No vacuuming or mopping is getting done this week!

The app is confusing and isn’t intuitive at all. The icons don’t make sense and setting up customized cleaning takes long long time. The vacuum and mop are fantastic. Totally endorse the device, but the app isn’t good. I see a bunch of positive reviews, but they’re all about the machine, not the app.

Instructions are not clear. Turning on Robot Vacuum takes very unnecessarily long and when I tried to do the firmware update, it kept failing. Software and user experience is garbage, and most features of Robot don’t even work correctly
Useful but could be improved
This app is a good example of an app developed on a computer but not tested thoroughly on iOS. If the devs had used the app intensely on an iPhone they would be aware how intrusive system messages can be on a small screen when trying to edit a floor map. Suggestions: 1. When the user is in map edit mode, disable system messages and other messages which obscure the map. 2: Allow naming of zo nes (as is done with rooms) and make both processes easier. 3. Develop a version for iPad OS which makes better use of the larger screen, instead of just forcing iPad users to use the iPhone version.
Nice bot poor app
This App is written by children. WARNING if you update on your iPhone all of your devices and custom settings will be deleted.
It’s ok. Misses lots of dirt.
This could be an issue with the technology or a combination of confusing settings, but it often struggles to clean big dirty areas like the door entry on hard floors. It will say it’s done cleaning but has left dirt everywhere. It’s also incredibly frustrating to watch.

I bought the Dreame J1 pool cleaner hoping for a seamless experience with the app, but both the device and the customer support have been extremely disappointing. The app continuously triggers error codes for propeller/thruster malfunctions. After sending the unit back for repair multiple times, the exact same errors keep popping up in the app as soon as the robot is placed back in the water. Customer support refuses to issue a refund because it passed the 30-day window, offering only repeated repair cycles or refurbished replacements for a brand-new device that never worked reliably. The app is useless when the hardware fails this consistently. I do not recommend the J1 or this ecosystem.
handy app
I feel like the symbols that they use to represent different functions in the app aren’t intuitive. However, I’m very happy with all of the things that I can do in the app… Makes it easy to set up cleaning sessions, and I like that I can only clean the rooms that really need it and skip the rest if I want to.

Great App. Terrible UI/UX
I love this app, but the UI/UX is trash. I can’t stand when i’m trying to check out and the ad for shipping protection takes up the entire screen. Or when it locks you into using Shop with no way to revert to Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, or any of the other payment options the app offers. I was literally about to make a purchase, but am unable to purchase without using Shop. I can close the app out a million times and it still doesn’t allow me to choose how i pay. I’ll just use Amazon.
App needs work
Product is great, but the app needs work. It’s not intuitive. The directions that come with the product are also minimal. If you’re willing to learn by trial and error this shouldn’t bother you. However, if you’re looking for clear directions you’ll be frustrated.
Last update issue
After last update my dream l10s pro gen 2 doesn’t realizes enough water. And it’s not only my problem, i know about 3 people who has exact issue after last update

以下提出几点建议： 1.扫地机建图之后，房间各个区域的颜色很丑饱和度很低，看得十分不舒服而且不易分辨，希望可以增加地图颜色选择的选项 2.目前Dreame软件消息通知无法显示在iPhone得状态通知里面的。比如说我全天开的是专注模式，在各种模式里我可以自由选择哪些app可以进行消息通知哪些屏蔽掉，但是目前Dreame是没有被苹果认可而进行app消息推送选择的，希望这一点可以推进 3.整个app的选项十分臃肿，各种选项设置并没有做一个很好的整合，导致不知道想选择什么的时候去哪里设置，希望可以更加简化一下设置和提示的文字表述和功能整合
