Best Robotic Mower Ever
The Navimow X450 is my 7th robot mower, and I find it the best performer of them all. It works without any signal issues on my property so I can truly start it and forget it knowing it’ll do every thing it was designed to do and more. The steep banks will get mowed with no problem, no slippage and no grass damage. My Bermuda grass loves it. It is truly a time and life saver for this 87 year old man! My lawn looks the best it’s ever looked!
Won’t update
I have tried everything and support is nonexistent. Won’t update and can’t use.
Does what it says on the tin
I still get a kick out of “Eric” coming out and doing his thing then tidying himself away afterwards. Probably unfair to judge the grass given the current heatwave but he cuts evenly and seems to learn/ improve over the first couple of weeks. I suppose my only gripe would be him not getting right to the edge of the lawn, however, I went into this with my eyes open and expected this - I bought some electric shears which I use a couple of times a week at the moment - I had to seed the edges and the seed grew like tipsy. Overall … very happy.
Not now
This mower has had problems losing navigation since I bought it three months ago requiring personal attention. It can’t be relied on so far. There have been numerous software updates but so far the problem has not been resolved.
Awesome but needs improvements
I think the system is fantastic, but I have two recommendations. First, I wish that both my husband and I could be logged into the app at the same time to get notifications. Secondly, I wish that it was HomeKit compatible.
New to Navimow
The hardest part was setting up & deciding on where to place the Navimow. So happy with my investment, amazed at how it handles slopes with ease, & my lawn looks very well manicured. My neighbors are curious! Highly recommend if you are considering between purchasing a lawn mower or Navimow. Plenty of other yard work awaits!!!
Poor customer service
I was told by customer service my mower needed to be repaired under warranty and they would pick it up. They never picked it up
Over 1 year of usage
The Navimow team has a great app and product. They’re very easy responsive to address issues reported. I do have opportunity for improvement tho: but it’s more so for thr mower OS than for the app: when a mower is unable to make it through a channel to another zone, it alerts the user and stops attempting after 5-10 minutes of trying. It also stops monitoring battery level and will allow the mower battery to just die waiting on the user to unblock whatever the obstacle was. Instead, couldn’t the mower just monitor battery level just as if it’s mowing and then return back to the docking station when the battery gets too low? Or why wait at all if it’s blocked just return back to docking station? Mine just sat there one day, while I was away from the house and not monitoring the app and just let the battery die.
Horrible mobile app software
We purchased our Segway x430 mower, the software isn’t working as expected. Kludgey and can set up home or channels. Basically have set up the 4 zones and have to remote the Navimow to the zone to get it to mow. Gets confused in the skinny side zone. Hopefully it will be better, and software will continue to improve. Welcome any updates.
Love the mower! Software terrible!
I love the mower. Truly a time saver and best of breed hardware. Software and app are buggy with disconnects, difficult firmware updates, and limited connectivity.

Just returned from a 3 week vacation and the lawn looks perfect. Heavy rain with thick grass and it just handled it.
Needs large user feedback
There are so many non-intuitive UI interface, designs that it is surprising that it’s not being fixed. A lot of the stuff is extremely basic and if the design user teams would get out of their offices and interview 100 people trying to use the system out of the box and just observe what’s going on they would find that they have a lot of work to do. This is coming from an engineer who is a alpha beta tester for Google for quicken for multiple other systems and I’m just astound that the management teams aren’t aware of this almost every single screen does not properly guide you to the next step the online videos hosted by Segway are horrible. So can I recommend this system to other people not yet for sure And I also can tell that a lot of the programmers apparently have never had a lawn to mow in their entire lives, and the line editing of the profiles is ridiculous. In 10 minutes I can come up with a system that is massively better than existing one the screen resolution on the newest Apple iPhone doesn’t allow proper mowing resolution Frankly, also the vision system, I have a very clearly defined green grass with a concrete boulders around it everywhere and the vision system has not able to see the contrast or the technical shading between these borders and is extremely easy with any kind of vision system, so I don’t know if it’s an aspect ratio or the attack angle of the vision but it’s this is bad. I think you guys are setting yourself up for being in last place in terms of robotics. I think you need to have some outside teams to review this thing and criticize the heck out of it and complement it where it’s a compliment. If you want to pay me to do this for you, I gladly will. This is so easy to see if that told my friends I said I could system from scratch in 15 minutes that would overtake this system right off the bat. Hopefully the executives realize this. It feels like more time we spent on the packaging and the shipping boxes than the actual functional design of does it cut properly is it properly making the grass stall, stand-up taller one of those is the efficiency of the mapping good what’s the edge mowing ability edge mowing is horrific my number one goal is I want the borders mowed properly There’s effectively nothing that asked the user did it work did I mow properly? It doesn’t question a query the User. That’s why I can tell. It’s being designed by people that do not own lawns to maintain.

Works great… only downside is it has to charge before finishing at 4% of the yard left. If it didn’t try to mow the driveway I’m sure it would be done in one run.

Das Gerät mag ja gut sein, erfüllt auch seine Anforderungen Jedoch gibt es eine erhebliches Problem mit den Batterien. Eine Karriere Recherche hat ergeben, dass es eine Vielzahl von Reklamationen diesbezüglich gibt. In meinem Fall entlädt sich der Akku um jeweils 10 %/h aufgefallen. Ist dies als es in unserem Gebiet und das Gerät am Morgen nicht mehr startete. Um genaueres festzustellen habe ich dann das Gerät einmal zwei und 3 Stunden vom Netz genommen und konstant verlor die Batterie jeweils 10 %/h. Dies ist problematisch im Falle der Wintereinlagerung Ich habe mit Segway Kontakt aufgenommen. Allerdings haben die immer anders geantwortet als das, was der technischen Situation hätte entsprechen müssen. eine ausführliche PDF Dokumentation blieb erfolglos. Segway vertritt offensichtlich Ansicht. Bei uns kann nichts verkehrt sein. Deshalb, wenn du Ärger vermeiden willst, lass vorerst die Finger davon. Ich habe den Eindruck als Gericht Sachverständiger, dass man hier den Fehler bereits kannte, und hat die Geräte relativ günstig verscherbelt in der Hoffnung, dass nicht bei allen dieses Problem auftritt. Dieses Verfahren wird im Consumer Bereich gerne gemacht, da man dann auch das qualitativ schlechte Produkt verkauft hat und dann abwarten, ob Reklamationen kommen Erwin Heberer

Poor instructions. Had to hire a Navimore dealer to set it up. Says does 1.5 acres, but that takes 2-3 days and about 10 recharges, which it does not say.
Best Mowing Buddy
Searching for the best alternative to mowing my lawn I compared zero-turn riding mowers against cost and feasibility of robotic mowers and decided on going with the Navimow i215 LIDAR, for its cost comparison and the environmental footprint for safety and maintenance. I’ve been so impressed with its performance and reliability that i have bragged to family, friends and neighbors who ask me about my robotic mower that it doesn’t complain, it withstands the 106 degree weather and won’t stop until the task is complete without fail. This Segway Navimow Series i215 LIDAR is the BEST INVESTMENT I have made this year and highly recommend this model or any other Navimow models for you particular lawn needs.

Mow app works well. Mower works as advertised. Will not do thick or long grass at all. Found its best as a maintenance mower. Needs short grass to start. Otherwise a huge time saver!!
Could be a lot better
Lots of little things that just aren’t seamless. You have to trick it to do what you want. I want to have it do multiple passes. Or to focus on a single zone that it missed on a previous cut. Etc.
Kann noch besser werden
Wie lösche ich gelesene Meldungen? Beim Start des Mähplans werden nicht alle Zonen des Tages im Mähfortschritt auf 0% gesetzt. Im Wochenplan werden die Ziffern der Zonen nicht angezeigt. Drag und Drop sind im Wochenplan nicht möglich. Das Netzteil wird selbst im vermeintlichen Ruhezustand sehr warm, wie Technik von gestern.

My mother in law bought on of these so I wouldn’t have to mow all the time. It’s really been quite the blessing! Now when we come over we can simply visit. It does the job well three times weekly, was easy for a 63 year old to set up and edit, and was easy to put away in winter and break out in spring. The power supply broke and I had to replace it out of pocket is the only reason for four stars.
Update broke a great working app
The recent update made the app worse. Maps don’t really load faster at all. The app is pretty slow now and constantly shows the mowers as disconnected whereas before the update I could always see where they are.

Glitched Updates
Segway continues to release updates that are not thoroughly tested. The past 2 significant updates caused the mower to glitch repeatedly. After the recent update I found my mower in the flower bed “lifted” sitting on top of my hose. The flower bed is no where near the zone it was supposed to be cutting. Then it missed 10-15% of a zone and registered as 100% complete. Finally it couldn’t find the charging station and was aimlessly roaming towards the road until I grabbed it and physically placed it on the charger. The last significant update prior to this I found my robot mower driving down the road in front of a completely different house. It’s unacceptable that these updates are released without thorough testing so the bugs are worked out.
Solid
This app is a solid experience but it lacks what mammotion has which is the ability to do patterns. This is just software I would like to see Navimow add preset pattern options to make the experience optimal.
Mostly good
Fortunately this app is mostly good when it works. Lately every check on my mower causes a loading bar that takes about a minute. Which didn’t happen during summer of 2025. One could speculate that it’s because my internet or router but few would dream of having faster throughput than I have setup. Constant Navimow+ added and removed messages. Everything’s been restarted, reinserted, verified, reinstalled, and rebooted. Although if you ask tech support they will say to restart your router LOL as I’m already way past what their laughable tech support is capable of.
room for improvement
The functionality in the 6/2026 version is sufficient, not more. What I am missing most is an iPad Version. Editing tracks and borders manually on a phone screen is pretty painful with eyes older than 50+
Fantastic remote lawnmower!
My 19 year-old son who always mowed my lawn and always fixed my Rider lawn mowers moved to Florida for college. He did a lot of research on Amazon for the best self mower and this one is absolutely fantastic. It mows very straight lines and even diagonal at times. I can mow in the middle of the night while I’m sleeping. I no longer have to worry about mowing my lawn because this lawnmower does it. For me. There is an anti-theft alarm that is very loud in case anyone tries to steal it. I highly recommend this lawnmower. A++
Not the best
For the money and compared to cheaper machines this unit is a lot of hassle not helped by poor design software and updates that bugger up GPS positioning. Last year when I got the unit it was pretty good. This year after updates it’s been useless. Whole thing needs re setting and then remapping which is a total pain

Tends to miss a lot of spots. I had to have it more again to get the spots that miss.
Good mower but hard to operate
Had the Navimow for a year or so. It mows the lawn quite well but is no longer mowing to plan and making that change is not easy or intuitive. It is also comparatively expensive.
Wispy issue
We have a lot of tall, wispy weeds that grow rather quickly. When the weeds grow, this more will not run over them. It avoids them like an obstacle, no matter what I do even if I turn off the vision fence, even if I try cutting at night. It needs to stop avoiding little patches of weeds. There needs to be a way I can turn this off completely where it just cuts the lawn and only diverse if it bumps or runs into something.. This has been unsatisfactory.

Excellent and reliable robot mower. Highly recommend it.
Why is this app 2 GB?
The app itself works okay, but with saved user data, this app consumes over 2.2 gigabytes of storage, just to cut my grass. Completely insane, time to optimize this code by like… 50% or more.
The Law Ranger of Ridgeview
I’m enjoying the Navimow. Set up was relatively easy. The more I use it the easier it becomes to add zones and corridors. It often has to stop and think about things, which is OK I’m patient. However, it does miss a few spots sometimes. Not a big deal as I can manually go back and clean them up. It’s been a few weeks that I’ve had the mower and so far I’m happy with the purchase.
APP issues
Delighted with Maureen (Mo) our mower . She is doing a great job and has given us much more free time …. But the App has had a lot of issues and is disconnected more often than not. Thankfully she carries on with scheduled mowing as planned, but am afraid to turn her off in case I can’t get her started again! Come on Segway…… let’s get this issue sorted out please
Antrieb versus Gefälle
Die Räder haben nicht genug ‚Grip‘ - vor allem bei feuchtem Boden feststellbar - die Rad-Noppen sind möglicherweise nicht kantig genug und der Antrieb bei Gelände mit Gefälle wirkt etwas schwach. Durchdrehende Reifen sehe ich bei mir recht häufig. Wir hatten allerdings auch zuletzt viel Regen.

Great mower, but…
This is a great find and we’ve enjoyed a consistently and attractive mowed yard over the last month. I have remained perplexed and unable to find an answer to small areas of grass that (often near and at edge boundaries) routinely are left, apparently unmowed. They’re often times small enough I can take hand shears immediately after the mower has gone over them and clipped them down to the surrounding height, but a couple mows later they stick out again as clumps that are left unmowed. Maybe you’ll have better luck.
Buggy
App is slow. Seems to get worse each time it is updated. If you go near the mower and blue tooth connects it wants to load the map which takes ages, so best to keep the phone out of range unless you want to adjust the mapping. Overall the mower and App seem more a beta test than a mature product.
Tablet Feature Needed
The app is only designed for phones. This doesn’t work well when using a tablet dedicated to the mower, which is much easier to read, control and configure for large lawns. Please add compatibility.
Terranox commercial mower is the best
I actually have two of these and they are mowing over 6 acres for me combine. They’re very expensive but when you think about how much time you’re saving in the fact that you could have your lawnmower every day if you wanted to or every other day without even thinking about it and having to go find the Mowrer like I’ve had to deal with other robot mowers, you realize it’s going to be worth it, especially after two seasons.
Great Idea
I’ve had issues with the antenna, the cabling and can’t use this at all in my large section of yard due to the trees.
Brilliant but has off days
Does a brilliant job but occasionally has a bad day like us all and ends up stuck in a flower bed for no apparent reason - maybe poor signal ? Still an invaluable member of the team!

Map/zone limitation
I have exactly 2 acres that I need to keep mowed. When I set up the software, it allowed me to create a 2 acre zone and things have been working beautifully for the last several weeks. Now with a recent update it’s limiting me to 1.5 acres. This is causing a completely different than the amazing experience I’ve been having. I’ve been bragging to everybody about how awesome navimow is and now my software is limited. Things were working perfectly fine.
