Good app with excellent support
I’ve been using Tronity for a few years now with three different vehicles from two manufacturers, and it’s been ultra reliable tracking trips, charges and other telemetry. I’ve only had to contact support a couple of times for help, and each time they’ve responded very quickly and solved my questions.
Not working
I have been paying for this for a few months now but it keeps saying payment didn’t go through even tho it has left my account, so I have deleted the app

Support über die App funktioniert nicht. Erst über die Webseite bekam ich Unterstützung. Jetzt funktioniert alles.
Bedingt brauchbar…
…ständige Abbrüche und falsche Daten im Fahrtenbuch. Das FA haut mir das garantiert um die Ohren. Nach drei Jahren immer noch vollkommen veraltete Ladetarife. Ich glaube nicht das ich mein Abo fortsetze.
Gute Idee, zufriedenstellende Anwenderfreundlichleit
Die App macht in der Premium-Version meistens das, was sie soll, im Einzelfall werden von den Servern des Autoherstellers allerdings falsche oder auch mal gar keine Daten übertragen. Die Auswertungsmöglichleiten der gesammelten Daten in der App sind sehr eingeschränkt, auf der Website besser, aber ausbaufähig. Ich hatte mir mehr davon versprochen. Die Möglichkeit über Tronity auch die THG-Quote zu beantragen und sich auszahlen zu lassen finde ich charmant, bloß hat dies in meinen zwei Jahren der Nutzung noch nie problemlos geklappt.
Toller Leistungsumfang, erstklassiger Support
Ich nutze Tronity nun schon knapp drei Jahre mit dem dritten Enyaq. Als Premium für mich um Fahrstrecke und Verbrauch im Auge zu haben und auch aus technischem Interesse - wie wirkt sich die Temperatur tatsächlich bei meinen regelmäßigen Fahrten in die Arbeit aus etc. Da ich mit dem aktuellen Auto Probleme mit der Registrierung hatte, habe ich ein Support Ticket aufgemacht. Die erste Antwort bekam ich innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Letztendlich lag es nicht an Tronity, sondern an einer unvollständigen Aktivierung des Autos bei Skoda Connect ….
Not working with Porsche. Overpriced
This app promises a lot but does not deliver! It very seldom has the correct data and can not show the route travelled! I have tried this app for 3 years, but can only say : AVOID if you try to link a Porsche Taycan! TRONITY always blame Porsche for poor connection from the car but other services do not have any problems to have reliable links. Overpriced an NON Performing There are much better alternatives in the market now
Gut aber
Die App hat während der Testphase super funktioniert, aber als ich dann das Jahresabonnement abgeschlossen habe, verlor ich immer wieder die Verbindung zum Auto und es wurde nichts mehr aktualisiert, obwohl eine Verbindung angezeigt wurde. Leider konnte hier der Support auch nicht weiter helfen und hat ein Ticket beim Hersteller eröffnet. Leider gibt es bis jetzt keine Information über den Status. Dafür wurde mir der Betrag des Abo anstandslos erstattet. Ich nutze jetzt die kostenlose Version wo man alles manuell eingeben muss, hoffe aber, dass ich irgendwann wieder auf die automatische Version upgraden kann, da die App für E-Auto Fahrer toll ist. Der Support war schnell und sehr freundlich, dafür möchte ich nochmals danke sagen!
App top, Support Flop
Die App ist wirklich gut. Aber man muss beten, dass man den Support nicht benötigt da man nie eine Antwort erhält (wenn man den Kontakt auf der Website überhaupt findet). Unfassbar.
Starke Verzögerungen
Prinzipiell finde ich die App cool, aber leider gibt es sehr häufig Verzögerungen bei der Datenübertragung > 2-3h obwohl für die Verbindung Kategorie 3 „OEM-Verlässlichkeit“ angezeigt wird (ID.4). Mit ABRP somit nicht zuverlässig nutzbar.
Nach dem Update kleinere Fehler.
Stand 2026-05 Ich hatte plötzlich das Problem, dass die Start und Zieladressen bei meinem Hyundai IONIQ 5 nicht mehr automatisch eingetragen wurden und ich laut App immer von zu Hause nach zu Hause gefahren bin. Kurz nachdem ich dies dem Support gemeldet hatte, wurde das Problem gelöst , die Start und Zieladressen sind wieder exakt, und ich bin wieder voll zufrieden. Vorherige Rezension: Ich nutze die App seit März 22 und bin bisher sehr zufrieden damit gewesen. Leider haben sich bei dem Update der Anwendung zwei kleine Fehler eingeschlichen. Zum einen wird jede Fahrt doppelt eingetragen. Das ist natürlich sehr lästig. Weiterhin können die Tags nicht mehr während der Eingabe ausgewählt werden, sondern sind in einem statischen Menü verfügbar. Dieses ist zudem nicht alphabetisch sortiert. Das war früher wesentlich besser gelöst, als die Eingabe automatisch vervollständigt wurde und im Zweifelsfall ein neuer Tag angelegt wurde. Weiterhin war die Datumsauswahl bisher schneller und intuitiver möglich. Monatsübersicht vor Monatsübersicht, Jahresübersicht Wochenübersicht. Jetzt, wo ist das Datum halt manuell mit von und bis ausgewählt werden muss. Irgendwie wird das ganze verschlimmbessert.
Disappointed
The app looks really good but unfortunately it crashes more than a blind driver, constantly freezing and data and location not correct. Definitely not paying for this until the improvements are implemented

Alles läuft super. Die Mischfahrten müssten noch einfacher zu trennen sein! Aber ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Viel zu kompliziert. Was man brauch ist für 166 per a viel zu teuer. Schade!
Grundsätzlich ok.
Grundsätzlich bietet die App auch in der kostenlosen Version viele Funktionen. Für mich ist der Sprung an Funktionalität und Kosten zu der Bezahlversionen aber zu gross. Ich wäre bereit, für die App pro Jahr z. B. 20 CHF mit folgendem Funktionsumfang zu zahlen: Nur Sync der Ladedaten (Ort, Zeitpunkt Start und Ende, Ladestand Start und Ende in %, geladene kWh, automatische Zuweisung Tarif aufgrund Ort. Wäre es eine Idee eine Light- Lösung anzubieten?
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolut empfehlenswert – Herausragender Support!
Ich nutze TRONITY nun schon eine ganze Weile für mein Fahrzeug und bin restlos begeistert. Die App bietet genau die Insights und Daten, die man sich als E-Auto-Fahrer wünscht, um die Effizienz und Kosten im Blick zu behalten. Was mich aber am meisten beeindruckt hat, ist der Service: Ich hatte eine kleine technische Rückfrage und war baff, wie schnell mir geholfen wurde. Der Support-Kontakt ist extrem schnell, kompetent und vor allem menschlich. In der heutigen Zeit ist so eine kurze Reaktionszeit bei Problemen absolut keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr. Man merkt sofort, dass hier echte Experten am Werk sind, denen die Zufriedenheit ihrer Nutzer wirklich am Herzen liegt. Fazit: Top Software, intuitive Bedienung und ein erstklassiger Support. Wer sein E-Auto smart verwalten will, kommt an TRONITY nicht vorbei! Vielen Dank an das Team – macht weiter so!
Good but complicated to set up and charging per EV is lame
The app works reasonably well but is a bit busy to set up and get running (especially the charging rates). I mainly use it to link my MINI SE to ABRP and get live over the air updates and it’s very useful for that. The various log book / tax record stuff isn’t applicable to me and gets in the way. The fact they charge you per vehicle is poor (our household has a hybrid and an EV, I don’t have a fleet!)
Ladedaten Audi
Da Audi abweichend zu BMW nichts an Daten liefert, gute Alternative. Leider etwas teuer.
App ganz ok, Deaktivierung trotz bezahltem Abo
Die App an sich ist ganz in Ordnung. Da ich mir aber nicht über den Mehrwert zu meiner herstellerspezifischen Sop im Klaren bin, habe ich über den kostenfreien Testzeitraum hinaus das monatliche Premiumabo aktiviert. Das Geld wurde auch abgebucht, allerdings wurde trotzdem der Account und das Fahrzeug deaktiviert. Kontaktaufnahme ist anscheinend nur über die Community möglich. Das finde ich ein seltsames Vorgehen und kenne ich von anderen Anbietern so nicht. Abo ist gekündigt. Immerhin hat mir Tronity damit die Entscheidung abgenommen, ob ich bei meiner Herstellerapp bleibe oder zu Tronity wechsle…
Die Abo-Kosten sind zu hoch
Ich war in der kostenlosen Testphase mit der App sehr zufrieden, aber die Abokosten sind mir zu hoch. Entweder kaufe ich ein Programm, dann sind maximal 40,- Euro für mich in Ordnung oder ich muss mich auf ein Abomodell einlassen, dann wären maximal 1-2 Euro monatlich meine persönliche Grenze.

This app has never once connected to my car. So Why would I pay for this app? It seems completely useless.
A few tweaks would make it better
Found this app to be great with my ID3 however when it’s charging, the charging rate is obscured by the picture of the car. I like the fact that the app gives notifications at certain states of charge but just cannot tell the rate it is charging at.
Fehlannahmen im Fahrtenbuch und doppeltes klicken nötig
In letzter Zeit trifft das Fahrtenbuch selbstständig Entscheidungen über die Kategorisierung und viele manuell vorgenommenen Einträge müssen doppelt bestätigt werden, sonst wird die Kategorie nicht übernommen. Das ist gefährlich Leute!!!! Ich begehe euretwegen unabsichtlich Betrug. Bitte sofort abstellen oder ich bin gezwungen die App zu wechseln.

Very useful - daily
I use this every day for my Cupra Born as the native app isn’t great. Tronity updates more frequently and the Home Screen widget is super. Support is first class.
Could be so good.
I used the free trial but was dismayed to find that only trips are supported for my fiat 500e. I was hoping for an app to help keep track of charging and costs. When TRONITY supports it I will subscribe but not until then. It seems that some subscribers are paying full amount for Les than a quarter of apps possibly.

Leider enttäuschend
Die App wirkt auf mich nicht ausgereift, zumindest nicht genug, um dafür ein kostenpflichtiges Abo abzuschließen. Hier sind wir auch schon beim fundamentalen Punkt, der mich mitunter so stört: Ohne teures Abo ist die App und der gesamte Service unnutzbar.

Following the weekend app update the Apple Watch can no longer access Tronity.
Subscription broke app
This was a useful app that generally worked well. However when subscription charge were introduced the App started reporting errors and stopped working even when I had paid a subscription. Since paying the subscription I get nothing logged and just error message’s. I have tried deleting vehicle and re adding but no success. I get different errors in webpage and app. I will be deleting. :-(
Loved the app but missing Renault integration
I loved the app when I had my citeron but now I need a way to use the same app with my Renault however it keeps getting pushed back by TRONITY. Once they release this I’ll use the app for tracking my charging etc as it’s a great app.
Great app that allows me to keep track of things
Great app mainly used with ABRP, but also love the fact I can add the battery meter as a complication on my Apple Watch to most of the faces
Hopeless
Had this app on my phone for a while now and despite them telling me it works for my Porsche Taycan, the option for any Porsche just isn’t there in the initial setup. I can’t therefore comment on the effectiveness of the app but fear as others have reported that it’s a waste of time.

Avoid
The app constantly logs you out. Tronity data is out of sync with the official manufacturer’s app. I can’t recommend.

This is a great app that, when properly connected to your compatible EV will log charges and journeys to give some really useful insights in the running costs and efficiency of your vehicle. It’s not perfect, but it’s clear the developers work hard with each iteration to make it better and refine their product. If you don’t want the hassle of plugging Bluetooth devices into your car’s data port then TRONITY is a great compromise between overkill and useful data.
It doesn't work
I could not get any data from my Skoda Enyaq with this app: it fails to connect. Trinity's response to the problem was that I should change my password in the Skoda Connect app! They also never mentioned the fact that connection is impossible if you have blocked pop-up windows in Safari.
SoC wird übertragen
Alles bestens der SoC wird nun auch vom OPEL Zafira-e Life übertragen. Damit kann ich ABRP nützen. Support ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Viele Funktionen die TRONITY kann benötige ich nicht, daher würde ich mir nur eine einfach Lösung für die Übertragung vom SoC wünschen.
Too little data and no in app purchase
Could be interesting but for an id3 all you get is charge data no trip data. Very odd they are selling an app subscription but without in app purchase. I thought that was banned in the app store
Good but could be better
Worked relatively well with my ID 3 however the it always should more kw charged than on the various charging facilities. Nonetheless provided a better solution for tracking than VW. Shame I can’t use the app anymore as my new car as polestar 2 isn’t supported
Great app & support
This app is perfect for people who love their electric car but are disappointed with the data the original car app provides. From charging costs, to map tracking (Honda charge extra for this feature) to the Home Screen widget to monitor charge percentage it’s all very useful. Tronity team are always quick to respond to emails!
Spelling mistakes
Was going to give this App a go, but when I saw clicking spelt incorrectly for the terms and conditions, it got me concerned about the safety of my data so deleted App.
Das fängt schon mal gut an
Der Dienst Tronity, der bisher über die Webseite bzw. die „Web-App“ eigentlich eh sehr gut zu bedienen war, hat sich nun auch eine App gegönnt. Noch recht basic im Funktionsumfang, aber sie wird wohl sukzessive ausgebaut werden, erst kürzlich zb wurden die „Fahrten“ ergänzt, begonnen hat man nur mit dem Zugriff auf die Ladungen. Von daher relativ dämlich der anderen Rezensenten, den fehlenden Funktionsumfang zu bemängeln, wenn es sich hier um eine junge App handelt, die ja ständig ausgebaut wird. Die Funktionen, die es schon gibt, funktionieren jedenfalls klaglos.
Nice idea, poor data
Could be a useful app, but it fails to pull the right data from my Kia e-Niro and displays wrong charging history, incorrect range, and doesn’t allow me to input charging rates for each session. Overall, definitely not worth a subscription, particularly as the integration with ABRP was pointless as the TRONITY data was so off.
