Having the same problem as “no poo” can’t reset. Telling me that the bin is full, it has an empty bag. Tells me cat inside, no cat there. Can’t check the WiFi connection. I moved too, but it only started acting up in the last week or so.
MAGNET
I absolutely LOVE my litter box. There is one flaw though whenever I take the tray out the magnet comes out. I have lost 2 magnets and have had to replace them with the ones for the litter door. I did try to contact els but I haven’t been successful. I am in need of magnets so hopefully I get a response from this review.With that said I would still recommend this unit.

How do u completely empty for fresh litter
Can’t figure out how to empty all the old litter to replace with new clean litter. Much harder to use than my old litter box. Does not do half the things as my old one. I was lead to believe the original price of the box was around $1500 and reduced on sale to just over $400 on Amazon. So I believed it would be so much better than my old litter box but it’s not. Sorry for the review.
Elspet Litter Box
First Elspet litter box was a nightmare. Just would not activate. The company sent me a video and recommended I take the Litter Box apart. It came fully assembled except for the step which wouldn’t connect. Returned that one!! Not what the company wanted but I wasn’t taking an item apart that I wasn’t familiar with and came assembled. Elspet #2 arrived the step clicked in place I put in the red tabs as before and prepared the little catcher. It has worked like a charm for 2 yrs now The rake and electric eye need to be cleaned occasionally. We have another and automatic litter box a different brand it stinks all the time unfortunately my husband loves that one Changes to Elspet Litter Box a battery backup so it will operate when the electric and Wi Fi is off in emergencies

Better than cleaning the litter box!
I like this device, but my screen in the bottom doesn’t stay in place! And sometimes it gets stuck!
Elswhere box
Look as much as we can appreciate moving forward with technological development, you’re still better off just using a outside litter box. This dumb machine has woken me up in the middle of the night with its excessive beeping, constantly gets stuck, the foam blockers get lost in the crap and doesnt function properly, pee leaks out, and so all in all it’s gotten very aggravating. Also keep in mind that all this does is scoop the litter. So now, I’ve been disiplined enough to scoop it up myself every day and somehow it’s an easier process.
Cat Box
This box is better than hand scooping but there are some things you should know. 1st, you need the app in order to reset the litter. There is not a button on the cat box. 2nd, the litter gets stuck to the bottom of the cat box and you have to scrape occasionally. Clumps of litter get stuck in the middle and won’t completely run until you remove the object or shake the waste bin. 3rd, litter gets everywhere on the floor. I even have a litter mat but somehow it is still everywhere and I am vacuuming almost everyday.

We LOVE the Orbitie! It’s worth its weight in gold just in saving my sanity! I was cleaning THREE litter boxes everyday. I just wish it was available on Amazon so that I can use my credits there to order another one.

Worst $277.00 I’ve spent in my life. In 9 days it broke. They email back in Chinese.
Notifications
I love this unit. However, it does not AUTOMATICALLY notify me when my hopper is low on litter or worse when the waste canister is full. I must physically open and view app to obtain this information. However, it does notify without fail when the cat has used the unit and when the unit cleans itself. Adding the other notifications would be a game changer. If I am in error and it is simply a settings issue (on my end), I will replace my review and give 5 full stars.
Basic
Can only add 1 cat. Need to add at least 2 more. I enabled it to send notifications but it doesnt. Everything else works well.
Cats seem to love the box, not happy with the app
I bought this specifically because it said it would track multiple cats for usage of the box but I can only add one cat. My cats used the box right away so that’s great but I was hoping to be able to track both of my cats usage, so this is disappointing :(

Think the front should be a little higher for litter kick out, to block what cats kick over there mess, would be fabulous
ELS Pet
This is the second machine I have gone through. The first one never worked. The rake kept getting stuck and I would have to take everything apart. After many emails, they sent me a replacement. This one stopped working a few weeks ago with the same problem. It is frustrating. I took a loan out through Amazon to buy this. I should have stuck with the regular cat box because this has been too much work and stress. I am now on uTube watching videos AGAIN about how to fix this machine. Waiting for customer service to see what they have to say.
No worky kitty potty.
I love this device but it is very fickle. When we moved to our new home I figured I’d have a hard time setting it up. But it popped right on. Now I’ve taken it apart and cleaned it with soap and water as I have done in the past and I can’t get it to reset. It keeps saying the potty bin is full and needs to be emptied. Not so. I just cleaned it. I kept fiddling with it, unplugging etc. , now it says it’s off line( and the potty bin is full). I can’t get it to reset.
Assembly difficult with physical limits
I can add only information on one cat to the app. I have two cats. How do I add the second cat?? Also like another review…..can’t add to Alexa..yet. Many steps in adding. It did connect to this app without any problems. So far the cats love the box and it is working like it should. One addition……if you have physical issues getting on floor to assemble it….you may have problems. I tried assembling on a table and moving to floor…..issues with the drawer reinserting and the red foam strips. Not easy leaning over to reach correct spots for strips.
Good price point
Much better than the old fashioned boxes. More order leaks from the storage unit than I’d like. This may improve as I’ve learned how to periodically clean the unit better. I’ve also started to sprinkle some baking soda to control the smell. I think these should improve the performance. Probably would have given 3.5 stars if that was an option. Good price point.

We have had the box a few days. It was not easy to set up but I did find some you tube videos that helped. We had a few snags so just did reset and that helped. App is good so far
Horrible quality
This cat litter box does not operate properly. The directions are not comprehend, and their customer service doesn’t exist. There is no one to talk to regarding any issue you may have when I first purchased the machine it kept my functioning.

Over all great app so far it tracks very well I do wish is told you when the compartment is full other than that great app
Can’t connect to app
The app requires 2.4 v the 5.0 most people’s internet/wifi runs on. I have no idea how to change my wifi from 5 nor should I have to and I most certainly don’t want too. Please fix this. I paid enough for this litter box.

I’ve used three automatic cat cleaning boxes and this is by far the worst one. It constantly gets stuck and is always beeping. There is no manual to help walk you through how to fix things. They never answer their chat feature. The box itself is super loud and annoying. It doesn’t get it all the way clean so I’m still stuck cleaning it. This box is such a waste of money. The company does not seem to care about helping their customers.
Love this litter box!
My cat loves his box! My friends all comment on how fascinating it is. Only issue is getting the foot pedestal in the correct place sometimes.

App is pretty useless
It's almost 2025 & the app needs to run on 2.4GHz 😢. I'm 66 yrs old & got my 1st smartphone ages ago. I don't know how many apps I've used BUT this is the 1st one that I've needed to split my router's networks to separate 2.4GHz & 5GHz for this app to work which is absolutely ridiculous! Now for the app, there's only 1 1/4 pages of "information" in the manual. The text in the illustrations is so small it can't be read & my vision is now 20/20. Only 1 cat can be added in pet center. For the price of this box I should be able to add multiple cats & their weights for the app to track. If it can track the amount of kitty litter it should be able to track multiple cats' usages of the box by their weights.
Love my SelfCleaning Litter Box
My cat loves her self cleaning litter box and so do I. It saves me time in the morning and throughout my busy day. I only have to remove the waste bag weekly and give it a thorough cleaning every 2 months. It also saves litter as compared to litter boxes. The only drawback back is that you have to remove many parts when thoroughly cleaning it and you need a water hose to give it a good cleaning.

Would love to be able to add info on more than one cat. And wish it could tell more info on which cat used the litter box by their weight.
Litter box
I have two cats. Keeping up with their old litter box was almost impossible. Bought the auto litter box. Now no more scooping. No more smell and it is easy to empty. I couldn’t recommend it more.
The worst company ever in the app does not work
This is the worst company ever. I’ve been trying to get a new litter box or return my litter box for two months. They are in Hong Kong and they have no phone number.

Machine is really good but the app is only useful when I want to manual clean the litter box. If the app push the warning message when the cats box have to removed or the litter should be added, it would be better.
Amazing.
I have had the els pet litter box for a few months now, and I love it. It’s absolutely amazing. I have 3 cats, and have to change the bag every 2-3 days depending on how froggy everyone is feeling, but it’s awesome. It’s basically a fresh box every time they go so they don’t need to find an alternative spot. I got rid of my other litter boxes aside from the one in the catio. 😃
Breaks after 6 months
I loved this for a few months… maybe 6 months tops. Then it stopped working. I had to force/manual raking through the app… Customer service isnt helpful. Now the app isnt working or staying synced to the device.
Not very blind or visually, impaired friendly
Hi, I have recently bought the elspet letterbox, I think it’s a fabulous device, I have one British shorthaired, lilac Persian, and his son seems to love it really well. The letterbox works exceptionally well, I have no problems with it, I suppose the only problem I would have is the app, I feel the app is not at all accessible for anyone blind, There is no labels on the buttons, and basically I am unable to tell whether the cat litter needs cleaned or what, it’s basically useless the app, I really would love, if the developer of this application, would do a little work, I have so many friends with cats, that would love advice like this, it’s very hard cleaning out a little box when ever you are unable to see. This takes away a lot of hardship, please please please developer please do something with your app.

This company is a SCAM!
I bought their box and it never worked. Months of emails back and forth with their so-called customer service, requested videos sent over and over. First I am offered a $30 refund. Yes, $30. Then told that if I wanted a full refund I could send the box back but it would cost $150 to ship it to them. I was supposed to pay that. They ship bad products, will not honor their warranty/guarantee and will make you crazy with their emails asking the same thing over and over. They are now also selling the same box under several different names so beware! They are SCAMMERS. Look up the Facebook group Scammed by Elspet and see how many people have been ripped off!
Works once you understand it
Not much to say here the app does what it is supposed to do, however, there is no manual or anything to explain all the features. The cat litter indicator specifically threw me off for a little bit. It did not make any sense, however, tech support mentioned it had to do a reset every time I cleared the bin and that would reset the indicator.
