Very bad service from Makro 3rd party supplier
Ordered whiteboard on the 14th of Aug. Was ready for shipping on the 17th and supposed to be delivered yesterday, 28th. Still not received and not even shipped. Wasted 2 weeks of our business time. We had to cancel the order with additional admin and go and buy it somewhere.
Disappointed
Your Websites Is still a disaster. Full of out of stock items, incorrect labeling and a surch function that is very bad. If it was not as frustrating as mentioned above, you would get 5 stars.
Pricing
Some of the product prices are not clear. The Sanex body wash prices do not confirm the quantities for the 500ml. And also, where you refer to a pack,please indicate the number of items in a pack. I sent an email to customer services a month ago and to date I have not gotten any feedback on this. Thank you
Delivery
Unfortunately whenever you order multiple items you will get multiple deliveries which means you have to stay at home waiting for each delivery. For example I ordered seven items and I got seven separate deliveries over a period of three days.

Poor customer service when collecting an order
Your online service is terrible when it comes to collection of orders. Your pick up point staff are always confused and it always takes them a decade to figure out a collection order. One wait for more than an hour just to collect an order. That’s terrible service!

Apps needs some tweaks
While shopping on the app is great, I would like to be able to filter items that are sold by Makro and not a third-party supplier. Currently there is a lot of clutter on the app.
Waist of time
Do not bother yourself to upload this app. Their client center relies on AI responses without assisting. They do not hold courier accountable for delivery. You miss one call from them at stranger hour before the updated delivery time then your order get cancelled and sent think you will be able to call back because the number is engaged. They ever just cancel your order and claim they couldn’t reach you. You will wait for your refund for three months after that. Even the delivery day is a week to pay date. Do not download.

Your service is great. Just wish you prepared same day for store pickups and also app has bugs when you try switch from 1pack to more or 1 flavour of juice to more

Easy to work with, I just wish it did have to go right back to the beginning of the list after viewing an item, cause then I have to scroll right down again and again and again and again.

Bring Makro at thohoyandou
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m a regular Makro online customer and I’ve had a great experience shopping with Makro. The website is easy to use, there is a wide variety of products, and the service is excellent. My only request is that Makro should consider opening a store in Thohoyandou, Limpopo. There are many people in the area who would love to shop at Makro but have to travel far to access a physical store. Please consider bringing Makro to Thohoyandou — we would really appreciate it! 🙏🏾🛒
Push Notifications
Is there not a better way of authenticating a user upon login? Push notifications are out dated and don’t work at times. Can we not update the app to use security features like biometrics? It’s 2026 people geez

Pity the 750ml bottle is 40% ABV and the 1l bottle is the old 43% ABV. One wonder’s why. I have queried this a few times but no reply

No accountability for online purchases
Please do not be fooled into thinking you are purchasing online goods from an accountable retailer. We purchased PC screen extenders last year but only one of the 2 screens would project. We tried returning them and we’ve been given the run around for over 6 months. The stores won’t accept the return as they say it’s a 3rd party purchase and that online customer service keeps giving us the runaround. BE WARNED: you better off purchasing directly at the directly on Temu at least they accept returns.

When I give the app access to my location it ses I am in Sandton, I am in Mpumalanga which is incorrect. When I manually enter my address the app still states that I am in Sandton!
