I will give it 5 stars if there is no issues with payment. I would like to support checkers but it says “Something has changed” or gives some error message when I try to make payment.

Functionality request
Please can each card payment method have a nickname. ‘Work card’ ‘My card’ ‘Mom’s card’. Many people buy online for different people or pay with different cards. Also ask a qualifying question. ‘You are about to pay using ‘work card’ are you sure?’ This will greatly assist in ensuring peace of mind when making payments.
App and service
Please add a ‘Cancel Order’ feature, and on two occasions I watched live shopping where I was notified to pick an alternative product because something wasnt available. I picked and send but didnt receive the product I desperately needed. So whats the use of communicating. Reason for doing it like that on live shopping is because when you initially select alternative products for all you first choices on making the order, you only receive the alternative products and not the first choice. Another gripe is when you select a later delivery time they do not abide by your request, but instead still deliver your products within the hour. Bad service.

Without trying to be rude, I’m sure “tinder for groceries” seemed like an inspired idea, or drove up engagement, or whatever metrics are that you are tracking. But some of us really don’t like this new UI element that pops up every time you open the app, and you should give us the ability to turn it off.

Driver safety
I have no complaints about Checkers or their drivers. Checkers 60 has changed my life. I love it. But I have a concern/suggestion. A driver arrived yesterday in denim jeans and gumboots. I know they get safety jackets and helmets, but I would like to see proper motorcycle pants and boots too. They can have a rack of them so that drivers can pick their correct size up when they pick up their jackets and their helmets. This should be regulated for all delivery drivers on motorbikes.. not just checkers. But come on Checkers…. why not lead the way.

They were quick and efficient however I’m not happy with the fruits most of the apple we not good they have those deep brown colour that shows that even the inside it’s like that.highly disappointed but beside that super happy with the delivery
Error product: Delivery of an allergy product
I ordered a 6 pack of oat milk and got almond milk instead. I didn’t notice until after the weekend cause I went away, and there’s no way of getting a refund or explanation. I am allergic to nuts and have been feeling unwell all day, only to find that you delivered the wrong milk. This is dangerous. And the fact that there’s no way to contact support anymore even on your WhatsApp line is poor.

Slacking on Sixty60 promise
While Checkers Sixty60 provides consumer convenience, having good quality groceries delivered to my door, I must place on record that this convenience is slowly being compromised and some stores are now reneging on their Sixty60 promise. I placed an order for delivery at 10:45, it is now 11:58 and I am yet to receive my order. This is not first time this has happened. Please investigate further, as now, it is becoming an inconvenience - waiting on drivers.

I have been using the checker 60 app regularly for over a year. Over the last two Sundays I have placed two separate orders with a toy from the app. On both occasions during the live shopping the item shows it has been picked and on both Sundays my order was delivered without that toy, I was not notified the item was not in stock or even given the option to choose a replacement, as a mom to a toddler this has caused extreme reactions in my household. On both occasions the call centre just refunded me the money that I had paid for the item onto my app, not even offering any solution or offering to rectify the problem, simply refunding me does not help as I would now need to spend more money placing another order just to use my credit, not to mention having paid the delivery fees twice for items I never received! It is extremely disappointing as this actually makes me want to switch to other delivery services!

Guys , there seems to be an issue with my Randburg delivery, the passed 3 deliveries regarding the chicken have been an issue. Twice in a row now I’ve had flies in my sealed box . There must be something wrong in store. Thanks
Not what it used to be
Checkers Sixty60 used to be the best and convenient way to have your groceries delivered. I’m afraid it is not living up to its standards anymore, it is no longer sixty60 it’s now 24 hours. No different from Mario and Take A lot unfortunately. Now if you don’t order early in the morning just forget it. I now have no choice but to order from MrD and pay more. I am so disappointed in Checkers. I think it’s time to remove the Sixy60 from the App, because it’s nolonger that. You are nolonger delivering what you promised- which was convenience.

Extremely impressed
Checkers60 has changed the world in grocery delivery. It is effecient and reliable. The app makes it very easy to swap out something if it’s not available. I would like to recommend that you make it possible to have two open carts at one time- for example, one cart for something I need asap and another cart that I can start adding to for my month end groceries or if I’m going away in a few weeks.

I always get “your order has arrived “ but then still have to wait 8 minutes for delivery to actually arrive!!!!
Favourites
This is a great app but is there anyway that we can remove items from our frequently bought items. Even if you buy an item once the item is added - and it’s not necessarily frequently bought. There should be a favourites tile which you can buy from as this would be really useful.
New app failure
The new app isn’t searchable. I put in frozen fruit and nothing comes up. Selecting alternatives also disfunctional and the app froze up twice. Now I am going to check out the composition
Meat expired within 2 days after buying it
I’m not happy the meat that I bought was going to expire within 3 days and I expect it to last me for at least 2 weeks I only ate 2 pieces out of 8 because it has expired. What a waste of money. Please do better and not give us expired meat .

Poor delivery and stale food items
I shop online almost everyday and this week twice I receive d stale food items Im very disappointed as I feel te staff are not checking and rushing for more deliveries The service is absolutely poor

App works well, search function is too loose, though. Please add Live Activities so I can track my order from the Lock Screen! Uber does it… This feature has been part of iOS since 2022.
Stop logging me out every time there is an App update
Why do you always log everyone out of the app every time there is an app update? I use many apps but this s the only one that logs me out after an update. You will Lose me as a customer if this continues.
The eggs that we got were not so fresh
I bought a pack of 18 Simple Truth eggs on 12 of December and the expiration date should be Jan next year, but I had two smelly eggs in the whole pack.

I can’t use the app because it keeps failing on age verification. Why is this happening? It should be easy to debug and it may be affecting many of your customers who wish to use the app.

Checkers Sixty Sitxty is absolutely amazing. Life changing! The app is a dream, the service from the drivers brilliant and the specials and prices incredible. I don’t really shop anywhere else. My only gripe is store specific, White River Crossings is often out of stock of the specials and it seems they don’t have a good handle on stocks. Maybe the buyer needs some help. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. Like I said, life changing!
The App sign-on OTP 2FA is a waste of time and just irritating that looses sales.
While the Sixty60 service itself is great the use of the OTP via unreliable SA mobile networks adds Zero security - because if someone had my phone they would also get the OTP Please offer a feature to opt out of OTP because it adds no value whatsoever and is just irritating when it doesn’t work far too often.
Great app but tracking and analytics stops it functioning
Great app, as you know, but by blocking tracking and analytics on I have to repeatedly log into the app. Make the app work without having to track all my engagement with it.

Raw and overcooked chicken
I ordered a rotisserie chicken that was bloody and raw in the middle necessitating me to cook it further. From the Deli I ordered the meal of the day, this chicken was deep fried, hard, dry and inedible. It went straight into the bin.
No related products
This new version doesn’t have related products. This means that when a product is out of stock there are no similar products to choose from. Update this issue and my rating will revert to 5 stars.
Going downhill
It seems like you have been a victim of your own success. Lately the app is constantly crashing or not working, many items are out of stock or suddenly unavailable without any given chance to add an alternative during live shopping, delivery status on app is inaccurate and delivery is almost always late. In addition if one is in one of the Checkers stores these days you need to be careful not to be run over by one of the many reckless Checkers60 shoppers on speed. I am returning more and more back to Woolies.
