App is a nice to have but each time you click on a product to view and go back to the main page, the whole page jumps and it just doesn't function properly anymore. Then you have to close the app and restart it each time. So nice to have but not very functional
Failed transactions
I get so frustrated when trying to pay through Std Bank and my virtual card. I regularly have to try 3-5 times or I just give up. 🤦♀️

Experience
I was window shopping since competition started to be able to buy something I genuinely wanted, I missed yesterday’s word and now today there is no if you missed the word. Which is quite frustrating as there was also another day that things where mixed up
Love the items
All the items I’ve purchased here are the best quality and they are affordable! I’d love for one day only to consider also giving us deals on kitchen ware such as tea set and dinner sets.
Payment Issues
Super frustrating trying to buy with eBucks. Have had mumerous issues over the years and tonight is no exception and PLEASE dont tell me the problem lies with the bank like u did before. Its your system!!!
Great deals, the app needs some work.
I use this app every day so I’ve found workarounds but any product you click on will end in this time out error page, then you need to go back and click on it again for it to work. Images don’t always load the first time either. You have to expand the image place holder while it loads then close the expanded image in order to see images. Weird but it kind of works. It’s been this way for a while, even on my new phone with new app and new OS, on WiFi and mobile data.
Battery Draining
I have no problem with the products being sold on ODO, I am struggling with how much battery the app sucks. The phone gets hot and I lose between 5-10% of my battery scrolling through the products. It’s so bad that I think twice before opening the app.
Delivery time is terrible & everytime I receive a code for free delivery it ldiscounts me half fee.

Is it really that good
Poor product quality. On an average you could wait 10 days for delivery. Will need to delete this app. I’ve been using One day only for about the last 4 years and this is my review.
Needs improvement
1. After part payment with e-bucks I am forced the pay the rest via eft. I want to pay the rest with a credit card. Or whatever works for me. 2. Add the ability to copy the POP email and reference number, as the bank details are. 3. Users shop shoes according to shoe size. This should be the first or second drop down, not the last. I'm frustrated having to go through 4 drop downs to find my size is not available.

I have received the most atrocious service from ordering in this app. Once your order is handed over to their courier service they don’t care whether you get or not. And when you request a full refund they’ll send you from pillar to post and harass you with useless calls from their agents who don’t resolve anything. I wouldn’t recommend
Fun shopping app
I really enjoy shopping on OneDayOnly, they have great copy so that gives me my morning entertainment. The app can sometimes be a bit buggy, but it’s still the most convenient option. The deals are well laid out, but you do need to know what things cost because sometimes the discount isn’t as much as you’d think.
Cancellations, inferior quality and wrong products
I’ve been a loyal and regular customer for the last 2-3 years. Have had really bad experiences recently… with a price dropped luggage bags order being cancelled after I was charged (same thing happened to my husband) and we were relying on the bags for travels. Another item that was on a price drop promotion, being delivered that had leaked out with no fragile sign on box… (they were not willing to redeliver a common household item so refunded me R9 so i lost out on the promotion) and also a plug delivered that was not working, another wrong item delivered and the list goes on. Not happy with some of the responses received when complaining. Haven’t received the refund yet for the luggage bags and it’s almost a month since i ordered the bags. All they do is read you their T&Cs and for my luggage bags, they offer a R100 compensation thinking this is generous even though R69 of that goes towards their delivery fee… No attempts made to find another resolution as I have to run around to find alternative travelling bags bec we passed on other deals and chose to shop with ODO. Some of the products have also been of a very inferior quality, especially electronics, often not working on arrival yet the item continues to be sold on the ODO platform. Very happy with most of my purchases! Waiting period is usually short. Good communication if there is a delay. Easy to return any item.

My payment has gone through but they have cancelled my order because apparently on their side it has not gone through yet.

Returns difficult
I’ve been shopping on one day only for years. Returns are usually slow to process but they do get done, eventually. I recently bought an expensive and huge couch that arrived damaged. I logged a return immediately and received some correspondence about sending packing so I can pack it (really.? I didn’t unpack the thing and it’s still in plastic. But apparently a carton being sent to repack the nearly 100kg couch!). There is no further communication and I have these huge piece of furniture blocking my living space, still in plastic and no idea what’s happening. The deals are sometimes awesome, but returns are an essential component of e-commerce. This seller fails in that.
Buggy with unhandled errors
The app opens and in some cases when browsing to a product the product page opens however intermittently I keep getting a “Hrmmph this page failed to load error.” I would’ve hoped that this issue was a bug that was solved a while back but this is more than 6 months old. The Extra Time and Clearance pages also behave like this intermittently. The app is old enough to have these issues resolved by now.

Sometimes you pay for something and it goes off your account and get told it didn’t go through, and sometimes you pay for something and get told it’s out of stock , poor service and no longer the same

Delivery times not that great.
App and deals works well. Their delivery times even for small items are a let down. Average delivery time is 5 - 10 working days. For me the delivery time is closer to 10 -14 working days.

Order placed on 8 December and still not delivered by 19 December. Very disappointing experience due to the lack of delivery and updates.
