Home
Camara goes offline randomly
My camera keeps randomly goes off line, WiFi signal is strong and my app is updated .. what’s going on
Connection
It turns off constantly
Decent system
We have phenomenal fiber internet at our house so the only down side to this camera system is that it constantly has to reload 3 times at very slow speeds and can take anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes for the video to load before you can see who is at your door or stopped by while you were away or at work. The picture clarity is amazing and no issues with the live camera showing up right away. Notifications are the only issue as they take too long to open let alone load to allow you to watch what happened
Sucks!!!
Session timed out!! Over and over again. Thus is getting to be useless!!! The update is horrible!! Stop filling my screen with cloud advertising!!! This is BS!! I don’t need, or want a cart!! I didn’t add anything to it but it’s constantly in my face..👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Great app that needs dark mode
Great app. Works consistently and reliably. Never have problems with this unless I created them. I think the settings menu layout and organization is kind of wonky, but not nearly enough to remove a star. Two suggestions: 1) Please stop making it so a user has to turn the camera on in order to turn it off. This makes absolutely no sense. Just move that option. 2) Dark mode because it’s 2026.
Update???
Open app and it states to go to store to update the app. Go to store, zero update. What is this?
About the App
Pretty simple and easy to navigate. Also has useful features A little concerned about privacy
Bon outil
Fonctionne bien
So far all good
We just put them up today and they work great!
No way to update
App keeps telling me to update but there’s no way to update!!
Greattt
One of the bestt
Worst cámaras
The camera freezes all the time! And the wires rip easily
Great
Was quite easy to add and use
No Free Playback = No Security
"I recently purchased four of these cameras, spending a total of $160 on hardware, only to find that basic playback is locked behind a monthly subscription. While the picture quality is decent, the inability to access saved recordings or on-demand live sessions without paying an extra fee is a major disappointment. For a home security system, being able to review footage is a fundamental safety feature, not a 'premium' luxury. Having to pay a recurring fee just to use the equipment I already own feels like a life-risk issue—if something happens and I can't see the playback because I didn't pay for that month's subscription, the cameras are essentially useless for security. I would strongly prefer an option for free local playback so I can actually feel safe without being nickel-and-dimed."
Caméra
Bien mais à améliorer
Love it so far
Great quality
Junk
It’s just junk and customer service sucks. I had two cameras go bad in 6 months and I bought Ai, can’t even tell I have it. And the one camera would say person walking had the AI on it. Idk if I even have AI now and my other camera says motion detected is all. And I paid twice got one refund. It’s not worth it.
Affordable and very good for minimal home security
We are using the ANRAN Camera to monitor our door so we are amazed by the screenshot feature which can take an image of people visiting us or leaving the premises. We just hope they was a feature to add Storage services like AWS s3 alibabacloid or any other like pcloud so u can store videos and retreive them when needed. But nevertheless this is a great tool for small or standard security in homes since you can access to feeds anytime with phone
What app are these people using???
The cameras are great but the app is awful and I ordered service several times and never got the service I was supposed to get. The motion doesn’t pick up motion well even at the highest setting and it’s impossible to get ahold of a customer service representative! Service sucks but the cameras are awesome so it’s just a waste of good cameras🤦🏽♀️
Perfect
There is anran and there is nothing…choose ANRAN.
Cameras suck!
Your cameras suck hard!!
Needs the ability to run locally for home labs plus other features.
The app interface is great and easy to use. However there are people who have their own home labs or home cloud solutions that want to integrate these kinds of cameras to their setup without having to subscribe to a subscription service just to remotely access their data. If anything I think there should be a feature that allows you the camera admin to store all of their footage in their own personal cloud via their own home lab. There also should be a feature where the user can access their camera via its ip address so this way if their on a desktop computer or professional setup that doesn’t support the app for the camera, it would make it easier to access your security solution on multiple different platforms. (Important side note) please make sure that if you are thinking about ip access for these cameras that you guys should integrate username and password protection to the ip access portal for your cameras along side two factor authentication for additional security. If you’ve read this thank you for hearing me out on this one and I hope to see these improvements to your apps and products!
Service
Fed up of constantly bein told - no service - lost connection
I’m still learning
I’ll get back to you with tons of praise as soon as I figure out what I’m doing. Thank you soooo much for solving my security issues!
I hate this with all my heart
All it does it say trying to connect or retrying to connect for 30-40 minutes I have WiFi on then turn it off but nothing works horrible I hate it worst app in the entire world I would watch a rock to a backflip then to set here and wait for it to try an connect because that’s how long it’ll take you to open it and see anything
Good
SD card too expensive
Was ok until latest update
Been using the app and camera for around 6mths and it’s been pretty good so far, until the latest couple updates for the app, constant adds over every section for a cloud storage service is awful! Hopefully the developers will address this?
Security
Been using ANRAN app with my security cameras and everything is amazing!
Can’t even set up an account
It won’t even send me the link to my email so I can set up an account bought this camera. Can’t even use it.
Slightly confused
Connection and installation was fairly straightforward and camera seems to work as it should so far but I don’t seem to have access to all the settings on the app and can’t work out how to get to them, so have dropped a star.
Nice picture
Camera was easy to setup, inserting the SD card isn’t, the instructions were vague. I would recommend this camera.
Q4 max
New to but very good! Recommend
App
The app is not easy to navigate,
Forcing cloud storage ads
Getting a bit annoyed that they are forcing cloud storage ads on every single section of the app!!….shame as the cameras are good but suddenly getting bombarded with ads isn’t. For me I’m going to have to change the camera as it completely detracts from the experience. Sorry ANRAN Update: Since the new update today it’s better now they seem to have taken down the forced cloud storage ads. If it stays like that then I’m sure we’d all be happy. Still unsure if that was Anran’s way of telling us that we’re about to start being charged for the app!
Latest iOS Update
Latest iOS update has killed the notifications. Think the app needs an urgent update.
Great cameras
They work great as described
Wont connect
I’ve wasted three hours of my life on this poorly made Chinese equipment. I’ve tried three different Internet sources and made sure I was only 2 feet away from the router each time. Yes the wifi is 2.4 hz and not 5. After reading some of the other reviews, I see I’m not the only one unable to connect. Dont waste your time or money.
Bit slow
Great camera but it’s a bit slow at letting you know it’s been activated
Playback
Playback of events isn’t anywhere near as good as cloud edge I have both apps for different locations and after using ANRAN APP I’m going to consolidate all the cameras under cloud edge instead, sorry chaps live viewing and set up all performing very well just playback
