They were the best before the update and ads now I have replaced all my cameras. I have an autistic child and the cameras help keep her safe but having to watch over a minute ad just to access my cameras can put my child’s life in danger. Very disappointing in the ad updates
Greet Pro Doorbell works well
The doorbell was an easy install and does everything expected. Could not connect the Beam WiFi extender no matter what I tried so sent it back and got a cheap WiFi extender instead which works fine. Suggest developers enlarge the button for ‘live play’ on the app so it can be more quickly found.
Get rid of the adverts
Has been good up to now, the adverts are annoying you cannot just go straight to the cameras which defeats the purpose of remote viewing, which you could miss on going events, please remove the ads

Been using this for years now and it works as it should
Nonissues on 2.4ghz it always recognises it unless you have a system where the 2.4ghz and 5ghz are banded as 1 . I have sky and though it’s banded as 1 it’s not and the cameras recognise this and set themselves up. These are fantastic. However - I need help - Apple released ios17 and removed the ability to select a notification sound from sounds and haptics and left ios17 with a stupid inaudible barely discernible sound making my cameras useless to alert me to issues as m can’t hear the Apple unsettable sound - I’ve contacted them. Is there a way to assign a notification sound in the Zmodo app? Is this a possible feature which can be added?? Doesn’t affect the rating as this isn’t a zmodo app problem it’s apples but wondered if the zmodoa app developers could add in a work around to solve this!

Good app. Liked most of the features. Suggestion 1. Please add a way to visualize all MY Modes schedules in one page. Like a weekly schedule with hours when each schedule will be active. 2. For shared cameras make a way to ask for permission from the owner for more privileges.
Annoying ads ruin app
Despite a bit temperamental the app had, up until now been okay to use. With the latest update the ads are so annoying and distract from the usability of the app. If I could find an alternate app I would shift without hesitation. Please get rid of the ads.
Cannot setup Zmodo mini pro and no support
When are you going to fix the problem? It does not recognise 2.4G Wi-Fi anymore
It’s working well...
Good app that hasn’t let me down yet. I like how there are markers on playback time line so you can easily see, and scrub to time motion has been detected. It would be perfect for me if you could view multiple cameras, split onto one screen. I have 4 Zmodo cameras and it can be a bit of a pain clicking off one, onto another... hope this is something the developers can consider :).... edit... just realised you can view multiple cameras if you create a group! Awesome app!!
Too many ads for paying customers!
This app has gone down hill and I will not recommend it. I understand if you want to put ads for free users. But some of us PAY $5-$10/month for EACH camera access! For us to have to watch 20 secs of ads before viewing a security camera, is totally unacceptable! Whoever is running this company, please do better and use chatGPT to streamline your process so you can host the videos without showing excessive ads. No one who pays you wants to watch ads before accessing their cameras! In the end, you lost my business. I cancelled my subscription!
Finally got a firmware update on older cameras
Extremely happy you have finally given us the long overdue firmware update for older cameras, we’ve all paid money out on hardware, and to wait over 6 months is really poor.

Paying customers shouldn’t have to watch ads
I already left a review months ago about the new pop-up ads, and somehow the experience has only gotten worse. I pay monthly for this service, yet I still have to sit through 3-4 minutes of pop-up ads before I can even access my account. That is absolutely ridiculous for a paying customer. And clearly, I’m not the only one frustrated. Review after review coming from loyal, long-time customers saying the exact same thing. WE HATE THESE ADS! Yet the company continues to ignore the feedback. At this point, it feels like nothing more than a money grab. There is a point where squeezing more advertising revenue out of customers themselves; and I think you have reached it. I have been a loyal customer, but I’m done. If paying for the service still means being forced to sit through ads just to access something you are already paying for, I’ll take my business to another company. You had a loyal customer telling you exactly what is driving them away, and instead of listening, you doubling down. Extremely disappointing.
Welcome Improvements
Since the transition to ios11 there are a few new bugs. However I’m gaining confidence your continuing to work on them. We can now view 4 cameras at a time woohoooo!!! I was thinking it was a hardware limitation and would never happen! It’s good to see improvements and bug fixes continue to filter through slowly. Keep up the good work!
App sucks!!!
My camera is always offline and not working, and it just keeps loading and takes forever for the camera to appear!? Not happy whatsoever for the price I paid for this home security camera. When I need to check the cameras some will work and some won’t at times. This issue needs to be fixed ASAP!!!

Failed. Totally unreliable
House getting broken into and couldn’t get past the ads. The cameras drop out randomly. Used to love my system. Now after this replacing all of the cameras.

When it works it’s great
Mine goes off line for no reason all the time. I have never been able to figure out why and can take days to go back online. The only way to speed that up is to uninstall it and do a master reset and set it up again. When it’s works it’s great nice picture. Motion sensor works pretty far away but some days it picks me up pulling in the driveway other days it doesn’t too random in my opinion.
A couple of suggestions
I don’t know why there are so many 1 star reviews but I think this app is pretty good. I only have 2 suggestions for improvement: 1) be able to change the name and rearrange the order of the different modes. 2) (a feature I would absolutely love, 5 stars if implemented) the motion detected recordings record for the whole duration of the activity detected - 30 seconds seems to be the maximum the clips go for and sometimes the recordings don’t start straight away and ends before the movements stop.
Dump Zsight use this!
I been struggling with the old Zsight App for years. I didn’t know this alternative existed. Doh! Just switched to this and got a firmware update for my camera. Now like a new camera. Reliable connection every time! I’m amazed that zmodo didn’t email me about this newer App! Zmodo email your users with a Service Update, just in case there are others out there still grumbling!!!
Ads now. Junk
I have used these cameras for years and enjoyed them until the recent update. Now to check the cameras, you have to watch an ad first! This takes out the quickness of being able to check if someone is on your property! Now these cameras are not worth anything
Great App, BUT remote reboot option needed
*** Last update crashes app *** Fixed, by removing app and re-installing from scratch... Previous Review Great bit of software for remote viewing, would of had 5 stars if you could introduce remote restarting of system ( I'm pretty sure this used to be an option in earlier versions ), and have the thumbnail images update or refresh more frequently than they currently do. REMOTE RESTART is essential when your cameras freeze , and you're not at home.. happened to me 3 times already and on more than one occasion I'm half way round the world asking a neighbour to restart the box is an issue....

Great potential - but not there yet...
I purchased a zmodo pan and tilt security camera three weeks ago and I have spent a lot of time using both the camera and the app. First, It is imperative that you install a microsd card in this unit if you want full functionality of the video recording. I chose a 32gb card and this works great. The camera works well in both daylight and dark conditions although in "transitioning" between daylight and infared mode there is a loud click giving away the camera position. The app is poorly designed and very flakey. You are always searching for functionality because there is no one place you can go to find everything. The video stream page seems to be solid but the motion detection is hit and miss and this app needs work big time before you could rely on it for motion security. I do like the camera and I am hopeful that the next version of the app will fix the motion reliability issues. I'd love to see all functionality in one spot but I can live with the disarray now that I've spent so much time figuring out what is where. Bottom line: I'd buy it and hope zmodo fixes the app.

Playback doesn’t work
Live view is working for my system, but if I try to use playback, the calendar pops up and I get an endlessly spinning wheel, so I can’t select a date. Come on people, this is really basic stuff.

Now that you can review motion alert clips with sound makes this worth every penny. Great to see the developers listening to their customers 5 stars.
Can’t get to camera because of the ads
The app did not always have ads, but now receive way too many before I can access the camera. The worst part is that I can’t tap the X to close them. It constantly triggers a tap/click on the ad. You have to fix this.
Not bad but lacking some small things
The beam should be able to set for 1 second beeps if you want to be just notified if someone came in. Colour balance on cameras would be nice! My doorbell one is pink for some reason!
Don’t plug your USB (wireless) camera onto the USB NVR cable...
ZMODO don’t comply with the USB standard, and the sPOE cables on their wired NVR systems carry 18volts... the USB standard is only 5V !! The result is a dead camera - which they won’t repair, as it’s an ‘operation error’, despite the error being in their design process. This is sad, because they have decent hardware at a great price point, let down by poor product management. The unfortunate thing is that if these weaknesses drag the whole company down (after they’ve taken your money), the Zmodo ‘cloud’ goes down as well - so your remote viewing, doorbell and playback will disappear along with them. Sigh.
A much improved app!!!
I use Zmodo cameras, 3 in-fact (zh-ixd1d-wac) and used the Meshare app with mixed results over the last year. I updated to the Zmodo app 27.12.17 reluctantly having used the app before with terrible results, well this has been a huge plus for me. All the features within the app work vey well and without problems, must be a first please don’t update the app I’m sure it will ruin it! Ps at the time of the change to the Zmodo app the cameras firmware was also updated. One Happy customer.

Nice Layout but missing existing feature
Doesn't seem to save the 5 seconds of footage that it used to...i know they introduced the cloud feature (for a monthly fee 😡) but 1st my camera is not supported to use there cloud service and 2nd still thought you could watch the 5 second clips (every 24 hours)?? Wish I kept with the older version 😣 Another update to the app and now doesn't connect to the camera due to "bad connection" i thought things were meant to improve with app updates not get worse...old saying- "If its not broken...don't fix it"!!!

It's better then the original app
1. Why doesn't the store actually lead to a sales page, to buy the products? 2. Why can't I view choose to stream from the SD card? I've got plenty of data to use. 3. Can you implant a 3D Touch into the app icon to change modes? I hate having to go into the app to change if I'm home or not.
