The only app u will need
I am two years into learning about Christianity ever since i came across Johnny Chang and his podcast it changed my perspective as if I was a new person. I was in the livestream when Johnny streamed "using COTH daily for 30 days" it was the most peace I had. This app is truly amazing and I pray many people try it.
It’s a pricey pay to play
85$ a month for a devo app.. I’m a christian but it feels like the membership fee is quite high… almost underhanded.

Cost
I think Core of the Heart is a wonderful app for studying the Bible, and I really appreciate the tools and resources it provides. However, I feel the current paid tiers are simply too expensive for the average person. At around $33 per month for the Silver tier and $77 per month for the Gold tier, the cost can make the app difficult for many people to afford. The biggest concern is that without one of the paid tiers, many of the features that make the app truly useful for deeper Bible study are very limited. This can make the free version feel incomplete for someone who genuinely wants to use the app as a regular study tool. I would love to see an additional, more affordable tier between the free version and Silver. It could provide the essential Bible study features needed to complete meaningful studies without including all of the advanced premium features. A lower-cost option would give users a practical way to engage with the app consistently, rather than forcing them to choose between a limited free experience and a subscription that may be beyond their budget. This kind of tier could benefit both users and Core of the Heart. More people would be able to study Scripture regularly, build a lasting habit, and experience the value of the app’s tools. At the same time, an affordable plan could attract students, families, new users, and people in lower-income situations who might otherwise never subscribe. Even at a lower price, a larger number of subscribers could create a broader and more sustainable user base while helping users gradually recognize the value of the app’s more advanced features. I believe this would make an already wonderful app accessible to many more people who sincerely want to grow in their understanding of Scripture but simply cannot justify a $33–$77 monthly subscription. An affordable tier would not need to replace the existing plans; it could complement them by serving users with different needs and budgets. Overall, I really enjoy Core of the Heart and believe it has tremendous potential. Adding a more affordable and practical study tier would, in my opinion, make the app even better, strengthen its accessibility, and allow more people to benefit from what it has to offer.

This app is game changing and the creators have such a passion for helping others receive the Gospel. I’ve followed them since before the development of this app, back when Johnny and his dad built the setup for the podcast. They’ve came so far! The relationships between him, Jeremy and Aaron keep you laughing, their messages keep you unlocking biblical lessons, unlearning the worldly garbage we are saturated in and this brings you scripture with BARS to combat satan with, everyday. Love these guys to fullest. Thank you for all that you do. I hope to meet them one day!

$120 A MONTH!!!
Yeah ummm so went to sign up only to realise that he charges $120aud per month for the subscription or it’s $1300 annually. That is so wrong, it should be free to learn about the gospel.
Good but one problem
I’m giving a 5 star review even though the app is misleading. Your first 20 or so chats with the bot are free and then without warning it runs out “for the month” but two months have come and gone and I have not received anymore chats. It just says come back next month again. The app doesn’t owe me anything so I’m not complaining I’m simply suggesting it change so that you either get the promised chats per month or it doesn’t say you’ll get more without paying. Either way is fine just pick one.
Unnecessary downloading of the app
I just needed the app to get a ticket to an event. This ticket could have also been mailed, like the confirmation mail. Forcing people to download your app is not nice.
Trouble?
Having a hard time with devotionals when i go to the verses it goes to a completely different verse idk if it’s supposed to do that but I really appreciate you guys for your hard work 🙏
Thank you Pastor Johnny & COTH
After hearing Jeremy say leave a review since the app has been out I’d figure I’d finally do it. Not just this app, the discord, the Bible class, the podcast is everything you need. Although im in my early 30s I don’t have social media, I didn’t see Johnny on TikTok or IG. I started reading my Bible 2 years ago and prayed for a Bible class, looked every where locally but I wasn’t plugged in to a church, I prayed for months. My YouTube algorithm at the time was not Christian based, but for some reason I saw Pastor randomly a few times for some reason and over looked it a few times. I thought what does this guy really know about God (if I’m being honest) and one day I was at work and said let me just give one clip a chance. Before that day I thought sure God is good and I’m sure he knows me but (my grandparents were catholic and taught us about Angels very early on) God probably just has an angel looking after me. That day Pastor explained how much God loves me. That broke me, to know God really loves me so much that he sent his Son to die for me. The last year in the Bible class has been the best year of my life, funny enough during some of the most trying times of my life up till now. I was really struggling before it and I even ran away from it for 1 month, but I had to come back. I am so thankful for COTH and for Pastor. You really should download this app, now I couldn’t imagine my life without COTH. Thank you Jesus
If you really want to grow spiritually, download this app!!
Before this app, I was someone who struggled with being consistent with God. Months after downloading this app, going to God whenever something happened became a habit without me even realizing.
No longer a slave to fear
Using Gospel Bot has been such a great grounding tool on moments when my mind begins to spiral. It’s quick with gospel centered answers and points to scripture that helps ease the mind. It’s my safe space where nothing I say is ever used against me. It’s improved my parenting, as well as my view of everyday life. Thank you COTH Ministries for being God’s bridge to knowing His true heart.
