A must-have for group travel! ✈️
Wanderlog was honestly such a great help during our trip. Since we were traveling as a group, it made planning everything much easier, saved us a lot of time, and helped us keep our days organized and well structured. At the moment, I can’t really think of anything I would change. Even the basic version already works really well and gave us everything we needed to plan our trip properly. I just hope it stays this useful and complete for basic users, because that’s one of the things that made the experience so good for me.
Scam
This use to be a great app. However I have paid for the upgraded version twice now and the app continues to ask me to start a “free 7 day trial and then proceeds to charge me day 7 but still won’t let me use the features. When I try the get help from app support it tells me I need to download the app….I literally have the app and have downloaded, deleted, and downloaded. Update I unowned tried to contact support 5x’s with no response
Great app
This app is great for planning a full on trip that has multiple destinations. One suggestion: would be great to have a section to upload important documents (e.g. travel insurance, visa confirmation, photocopy of passport) so that everything for your trip is in one place.
Limited to their lists
I tried it, but couldn’t find any way to add points of interest, hotels, restaurants that I’ve already identified other than by scrolling through long lists in hope Wanderlog includes them … and often they’re not there. There’s not even a text search available to make it easier to determine that Wanderlog does not include something you want to add. You can’t even re-sort these lists by name to jump to a letter to see if the desired place is on the pre-limited list. Extremely disappointing!
too complicated for normal day trips
if you’re downloading this for just a small cute fun day trip in your state it’s overkill, doesn’t match what I was personally looking for
The Best Travel Planning App
This app scores a 10 out of 10 for checking all the boxes when planning a trip. I could not have traveled as seamlessly without it as it covered the where, when and how to get around to all the sites I wanted to visit. Thanks to everyone at Wanderlog!
Pretty but not functional
This is the worst travel app I’ve used. You might think this is a good app if you’ve never looked at any other app. The email itinerary function didn’t ever create itineraries for me or reject me or even say that anything went wrong. It just never showed up in the trip. Also, the wizard is annoying. When you start a new trip it asks you all kinds of questions that you’re not ready to answer yet. Even their helpdesk function is terrible because you will look up a question and it will have like one sentence worth of description there no pictures no videos nothing

Import Doesn’t Work
Tried to load a trip I’m in the process of planning. Sent airline (Air Canada) and hotel (Expedia) confirmations to the special email and …. Nothing. Doesn’t seem to work. Tried a 14 day cruise itinerary, it loaded 1 day. It wants you to link your Gmail account but I don’t use Gmail. I don’t think it’s a great app for Apple users honestly. Going to try Tripsy!
Messy UX
The concept is good, but it’s terrible to look at, very busy. The overall UX is tedious.
A Must for Road Trips
I love this app! Experience is the best teacher, and I learned the hard way that you need to know how far things are from each other. How far is the hotel from the airport? How far is each of the tourist spots from each other? How much time are we spending in the car each day? This app made a driving tour of Great Teton National Park and Yellowstone do-able. It was easy to share the itinerary with my travel companions. They could also see descriptions and photos of the places we were going to see. Good to have all the lodging confirmation correspondence in one place as well.

What's not to love?
I really love this app. It is an amazing took to maximise the time you have, especially on those city breaks. I love you can link in travel, accommodation and budgets. Possibly the best thing for me is knowing how long it will take to get from A to B and I love how you get information regarding the average visit time in places of interest. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is I think the subscription price is a little high - I love it can juggle the plan for maximum efficiency but you can also do that by just looking at the map and doing that yourself. Having said that, I am always recommending this app to people. I genuinely plan every city breaks with it.
Hard to use
When I try to write something in English, it pushes me over to Italian and I can’t change it. It’s freaking annoying. That’s why I’m deleting the
Too complicated
I’m afraid the app is just too complicated for its own good. I keep adding stops but they don’t appear, or I add media in the journal and either doesn’t appear, or appears twice with no clear reason why. I so wanted to like it, and I use loads oops with no issues, but this has got me beat 😖
Must have travel app
Easiest way to stay organized during a trip in a foreign country. Can copy addresses straight from the app. Lifesaver.
BEWARE - seems to be a scam
I have communicated several times that I have paid my 39.99 for the full app and have sent them a picture of my receipt in Apple and they still will not recognize it. I would not suggest this - seems to be a scam. Better to go with trip it.
Near perfect
We’ve planned trips with multiple families using spreadsheets but they lack the visual features that this app has. We also needed a way to better track & split expenses. The one thing that would make it perfect for us would be a feature to easily see side quests or individual activities. Thanks!
Some account issues
I tried this app and created an account but ultimately decided it wasn’t for me. When I tried to delete my account it error’d out and wouldn’t delete my account. Seems there’s bugs in account creation and deletion. Frustrating that PII may not get deleted if you use this app.
Account reappeared
Hadn’t used it in a while, but I made the mistake of still paying for the subscription. Discovered that I’d not only need to go through the thoroughly irritating setup process but that it would actually try to sell me on squandering money on the subscription I already had. Needless to say there’s no hope of retrieving past trips. Cancelled the subscription and deleted the app. Update: Got an email saying account was restored. Reinstalled, and past trips are back. So, that’s nice.
Extremely helpful for planning itinerary!
I used the free version of this app for the first time to plan a trip to Alaska and absolutely loved it. You can add your flights and hotels and get suggestions for what to do each day based on where you’ll be. A link to the directions auto populates between different places in your itinerary to give you an idea of how much you’ll be driving (or walking/taking public transport). You can open the link in Google/Apple maps and you can view all your locations on a map color coded by day! This had all the features I was looking for in a travel app and made planning our trip enjoyable.
Broken app
New update made app useless. Nothing loads and stuck on the opening screen. I have tried using WiFi and just regular cell service. I have a trip coming up in a few days and have no way to track it easily now.

SCAM
I signed up for the free trial and it immediately charged me. I figured since I paid for it already, I might as well use it for the year but the purchase never registered and it continues to ask me to “start for free” I have received NONE of the features I “paid” for and Apple will not honor a refund even though I was supposed to be on a “ free trial” for seven days.
Good, only needs some bug fixes/ small improvement
Honestly I love this app. I used to to plan a road trip throughout Ireland, a trip to London, and NYC. I just wish the app didn’t sometimes crash/glitch when giving directions. I also would love if we could add places from a video.
Incredibly poorly made
App is unresponsive and often completely freezes when using basic features. Added insult: it asks you to pay for premium constantly.

I love this app for trip planning. I love that I can be watching a reel somewhere and find a spot Iwant to travel to and add it into the trip and it shows where everything is on a map so you can decide what places you want to go to that are close together. It’s great that you can share it with members of your traveling group and friends and family that are staying at home so they know the types of activities you will be doing and about the time
Unable to purchase pro features since new update

I was trying to login, and I kept getting the error that I have to purchase the pro feature. I initially came and gave a bad review however, I was able to connect with a developer who troubleshoot with me and identified the problem which was that when you sign up with an Apple ID, the email address is not recognized as a scrambled every time you are in the app. Please connect with the developer who will fix it for you in backend. I’m happy to be back on this app!

Subscription charged without agreement
You charged me $39 for the pro subscription which I did not agree upon and I am still running the basic. No way of canceling this. Help.
AMAZING!!!
We used the app to keep track of a 5 week trip to Greece. The ability to have all our flights, ferry tickets, accommodation and tours all in one app was fantastic! The flight updates were extremely helpful and the ability to save emails and other information within the app made checking in to get boarding passes a breeze. We will definitely use this for all our trips from now on!
Needs improvement
I’ve used tripit for years and I read about wanderlog as an essential travel app. Aside from the initial annoying ‘subscribe Subscribe SUBSCRIBE!’ prompts, i then started to put in data. It is (rightly) crippled to a degree for non subscribers, but I found it clunky and unintuitive. No ‘theatre’ or ‘event’ options. If you create a ‘place’ on the wrong day, I would expect you could move it. No, you have to delete and recreate on the different day. For theatre events you have to specify the venue as the event, not the event itself. It has potential, but $59 for a year, when tripit is a full featured app for free with extras for $77 a year with calendar integration and full itinerary generation from emails? This app has a very long way to go to justify that price and provide basic useful ‘free’ features.
Good app, however glitchy and some functions have been moved to Premium only
I’ve used this app for about 2 years now. Been recommending it to all my friends and family. The are some bugs and super slow to load web version. When adding a place to one list, somehow it mistakenly adds to an additional list without the prompt. The public transit duration is often wrong too against Google maps. With some of the times are double… Not a fan of how the Optimise Route and Offline Access is for premium only. I think previously at least Optimise Route was available for basic plan. I have paid premium before and have recommended the premium to people too but I would like to have a monthly or 3 months membership rather than paying yearly. Hope the founders and developers can fix these issues and make the app more accessible and usable for all.
Like it so far
I like this app so far, using it to plan my bday trip, no unwanted and unnecessary ads or subscriptions which I appreciate- to use the basic plan.
Annoying
The list feature is rubbish, i should be able to copy/paste lists and not have to do one by one. Your review pop up window is annoying and intrusive. Keeps showing old trips in “planning” hiding my next trip for quick access. Too many pop ups and distractions! Hard to get anything done!
Great app with some technical issues
Very useful app and the free version has so many features. My only issue is the budgeting section. It often doesn’t work to add expenses on mobile; the “done” button simply doesn’t work
Wish it was better
The idea of this app is great, and if it wasn’t so buggy and laggy it would be great. I have paid for the pro version and it’s so annoyingly slow. It can’t cope on either my laptop or phone. I have a busy trip planned and if Wanderlog worked I would be so pleased, but right now I’m backing up all of my files elsewhere because I just don’t trust it will work when I’m out of the country. It’s such a shame because in principle it’s a great app.
Trip copy feature
This app is quite useful for planning trips, but there is still room for improvement. One key feature that would greatly enhance the experience is the ability to duplicate a previously created trip. Sometimes we revisit the same destination, and being able to copy an old trip and modify it would save a lot of time. Currently, we have to search for everything again from scratch, which is very time consuming.
Vacation must
I planned a complicated family vacation to Peru that included 7 flights to 4 different regions, tours, etc. This app not only helped keep all our reservations, itineraries organized but also helped us organize our expenses. I also loved the recommendations, and that everyone in the group had access to the all the information. My favorite feature is that you can email the flights/hotel reservations to the app and it populates all the information! No need to look thru emails to find the info! Great job creating this app!
Nags you constantly
Every time I try to use this app I am reminded of why I keep avoiding using it. It nags you CONSTANTLY with endless ‘tips’, self praise, questions… I just want to spend time learning how to use it without the intrusive and persistent help. It feels like I have just left a hotel in Cairo and now I am being accosted by every shady hawker in the city! Dial it down for gods sake!

Free is good enough
I used this app for free for years and recently decided to try the paid version of this app, only to find that the paid version barely had any features that were truly value adding to my experience. I regret taking on the annual subscription given its current limitations. I hope my experience would improve within the year with new features releases, but have doubts about this since the company doesn’t have a forum what users can recommend or vote for features they want to see in the app, so there’s no transparency over what’s in the pipeline for upgrades. Very disappointed.
