Amazing- my #1 travel tool
I use it to budget my travel expenses including day-by-day expenses. If you travel a lot, and tracking is important, this is the APP of choice. It works with Claude AI and tripsy features just keep getting better with every update. Yeah, it does cost a bit more but try it and you won’t be disappointed.

I wish I could have rated this app -5 but unfortunately apple does not provide that rating. This app is horrid and confusing. It keeps forgetting where I am. I put in that I booked out of a certain hotel and into a new one like a week ago on the time line and every time I tried to add an activity it keeps taking me back to that hotel LIKE I WAS ONLY IN THE THING FOR 5 MINUTES OMG also it is so money hungry it keeps begging me to buy premium like no how about you make a good app first.
Great but could be greater
I have used the paid version of Tripsy for 6 large holidays. It is an excellent app and I intend to keep using it. However, some things, particularly expenses, should be enhanced. An important part of travel planning and holidays is keeping track of expenses and budgeting. I have to keep a separate spreadsheet for this because Tripsy does allow a record to be kept of how much has been paid for the trip and what remains to be paid. Instead of a single cost field for each expense, it would be simple to add a field so that you could record (1) the amount paid and (2) the amount remaining to be paid for each expense. Users could then update these fields as they make payments. Tripsy could then easily produce simple summaries of the cost of the trip and the amount remaining to pay for the trip. I would also include a slider for each expense to enable unpaid costs to be moved and added to the paid costs field to enable easy updating of costs as they are paid. Finally, it might be useful to have an option to not use the paid/unpaid costs feature to keep compatibility with past data/trips and for users who do not need this feature.

tripsy is great as it is. nothing to say abt it. but most of it is under a subscription. i and many overs would love an improvement to the freemium tier, and a lifetime payment for those not keen in paying annually or monthly. if u were to implement lifetime payments, a reasonable price for us would be greatly appreciated 😄 let’s go tripsy!!
They constantly read my mind!
As a frequent, world-traveling pilot, I've tried them all — TripIt, TripKit, you name it. Tripsy blows them all away. I've used it since the early versions and it's now my go-to home base for every trip. Not for Road Trips
This app still does not allow to add stops. I have integrated with claude, and this app romoves the scenic route to the shortest. The help sections still states that the app is not able to add stops.
Great app… Missing just a couple of additional conveniences
This is a great travel application that is missing just a few additional conveniences to make it awesome and get it to 5 stars. Love the UI and aesthetics. Developers- While the “Note” function is somewhat useful for brief notes, it would be so much better to be able to incorporate the integration of Apple notes versus a text based note field that doesn’t really offer any export or integration abilities. Many Apple users rely on Apple notes for additional trip details and have the ability to add a link to an Apple note for individual activities as well as as the overall trip details would be incredible. Next summer in terms of receipts, is it possible to upload either a file or image as a receipt versus just one format type? Regarding the “Latest Added” section, can you add the ability to scroll that section? Only a few of the latest items in this section are displayed-it makes that section far less useful. Last, with many of us sharing our trip information with other applications, can you please add the ability to export all the individual trip information to a spreadsheet? Thank you again for a great app. These few items would make it even better!
Not as advertised
Tried out Tripsy- It only reads emails with trip information directly in the email text and I am not sure how well it does that. It Does not read email attachments you would get from a tour operator or cruise company. It just loads that into documents and you have to go back and enter each day yourself. It refers to AI parsers but does not provide access to one. If you only travel once a year and don’t mind loading your itinerary yourself it would be a good reference, but I am trying to save time. Not spend more time. And who really cares about a changing if background image.
Nice app but too bug
1) the travel stats/tripsy book could accurately calucate my stats, and take forever to update and run the calucation. Very disappiointing 2) consumes quite a long of memory, frozed and forec quited 2 twice 3) the thumbnail photos for each trip is very slow to load, some of them never managed to show properly. 4) Need a better calendar/itinerary view for clarity. 5) quite some trouble to add new activites/locations, not intuitive and user-friendly enough 6) need to work on the expense tracker (it's good enough to start with, definitely a nice and much-needed feature), but need more categories and details for clarify. 7) suggest to add number of trip days & number of country/city as subtitle in the My Trips panel 8) advise to revamp/finetune the overall UI (particuarly the tripsy book UI,refer to Flighty as a reference), could use better typography/fonts overall, still one of the currently available best travel planning/record apps (I use all three iphone, ipad, and mac versions). Subscribed to the pro plan myself, and would really love to see the app grow to be better (could definitely use some marketing in chinese social media, young chinese travellers would love it - make it beautiful and easy to use, you won't find yourself lack of loyal subsribers)
Travel app experience
I’ve used this on one trip already and it was very handy. I’m using it to plan another trip, and the integration of Claude and Tripsy through MCP works really well. I was able to have Claude read where I was staying from Tripsy, plan an activity itinerary, and then have Claude communicate with Tripsy to add those activities in to the schedule. It worked without a hitch.
$7.99 to see all the features
You’ll need to pay for a subscription to try all of the features. Only two options were prominently made available to me in the App when I opened it, one month at $7.99 or one year. There was no free trial period for me, I was immediately charged $7.99, even after immediately ending the subscription within an hour of signing up. Unfortunately, after an hour of checking out the app, it won’t work for me. The shady subscription service is enough to keep me from using this service. But hey, the company did get $8. Maybe that’s their business plan.
Great organizer for Trips!
Been a nice way to organize our trips! With one exception, it’s hard to add certain places and doesn’t pull it up on the map so that is a little annoying but you can just enter it manually. It’s nice having all the information in one place!
Doesn’t always parse emails correctly
For 2 out of 3 Airbnb reservations within the same trip it said it couldn’t determine which trip to add it to and gave up. I only have one current trip. In the same trip it processed one out of two bus reservations from the same company, but marked it as a train reservation with no way to edit that attribute. I emailed support, who replied quickly (paid pro account) but were able to confirm it should have worked, but didn’t. They said they would have to send it to their email parsing company, which apparently is separate? 5 days later, no update. Doubtful that I will renew my subscription. If it can’t parse emails and I have to enter things manually, the value is greatly reduced.
Not bad… but missing features
I love the idea, but it’s 2026. There are some features I would have expected for the price. If there’s a flight item on my itinerary and that flight it delayed, Tripsy notifies me. Great. What it doesn’t do is allow me to bulk edit or push subsequent itinerary items. I have to edit each individually one at a time. There should be an option from each stop to add the travel method to the next to keep the dots connected. I didn’t get the chance to explore the ai connections yet. I’ll have to try again when more features are supported.

Not intuitiv and Problems adding personal events
Imagine you wanna add a personal appointment without having a specific location. Well, that’s impossible with this app. You can’t create personal events or blockers. It is also not capable of having two manually added stays at the same location on two different dates per stay. And it is not intuitive at all. This app doesn’t work for my itineraries and it was just another waste of time.
Beautiful Interface, But Poor Flight Notifications
Tripsy has a gorgeous and functional interface, making it a pleasure to use for trip planning. The design is clean, intuitive, and well-organized. However, the flight notification system is extremely lacking. Important updates—such as schedule changes, gate assignments, and baggage claim information—are rarely, if ever, sent. This is a major drawback for travelers who rely on real-time updates. If Tripsy improves its notification system, it could become an essential travel companion. Until then, it falls short in one of the most critical aspects of trip management.
Beautiful app severely lacking POI data
Update 29-April-2026: I appreciate the response from the dev and the tip about the share sheet — wish that was more visible during/after onboarding instead of the numerous banners pushing for the Pro subscription. (Might also be an Apple issue as the share sheet never seems to surface relevant apps for me or my friends…) Also glad to hear that you guys are actively working on improving search and POI information. If/when I give it another shot, I’ll be sure to reach out to support to provide feedback. Rating won’t change for now, but looking forward to the future of this app. OG Review 26-Apr-2026: I was hoping this could be my replacement for Wanderlog, with a native-first interface, but that kinda fell short. I was really liked the design, though some of the pop-ups were annoyingly timed/placed causing me to back out of the view I wanted or to enter a view I didn’t want to; honestly, a minor nit. My major issue that’s keeping me from using this seriously: lack of POI information — at least for my upcoming trip to Japan. If, like me, you’re coming from Wanderlog, this app feels anemic for POI data. Outside of really big/well-known landmarks and attractions, I felt like there was a 50/50 chance Tripsy would know what I was trying to add to my itinerary. If it doesn’t know what you’re trying to add, manually adding places kinda sucks big time since it was super out of the way (bottom of the list) with no way (or no clear way) to just quickly add an address and move on to the next POI. I’ll probably check out this app again for my next trip since it still looks promising, but at its current state, it’s got more nice-to-haves and glam than actual brawn and brains.
Lacking Flight data
Doesn’t populate gate or terminal data, delays, or baggage claim. Even on premium. Thought it was as just a single flight. But it’s reoccurring.
Great Tool
This is a great tool for keeping track of travel itineraries and sharing documents among all the travelers. The MCP is incredibly useful and I love using Codex with Tripsy.

Glitchy. Customer service unable to solve problems. If you can’t forward emails, the main draw is gone!

I really love Tripsy but I can’t get it to synchronize with my outlook calendar.
Some highs, lots of lows
I was attracted to the app because of its visual appeal and the award it won. I downloaded the iPad version and logged in using my Apple ID. I then started setting up our family Christmas trip to Rome, and shortly after, several gremlins began appearing. I'm unsure whether it was because the app uses Apple Maps, but it couldn't locate the Colosseum Museum or the restaurants I had booked for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (I had to enter them all manually). All of these locations were instantly found on Google Maps. Subsequently, I subscribed to avoid the hassle of entering everything manually by having booking confirmation emails sent to the app. However, the app failed to recognise my airport parking confirmation email. Now, that email is just stored as a trip document. I haven't bothered with the other booking confirmation emails from the local Roman vendors. To make things worse, I couldn't log in to the app on my iPhone using my Apple ID for some inexplicable reason. I then had to create a password on my iPad app and use that email and password to log in on my phone. I mean, I have Apple Wallet tickets for most of the activities we’re doing in Rome (including our accommodation and airport parking), but none of them can be transferred directly from the wallet to the app. Lastly, the calendar integration doesn't work with either Apple Calendar or Fantastical. So, go figure. All this even before the rest of the family has set it up on their devices and used it during the trip. All a bit disappointing.
Needs to compete
Tripsy needs the ability to do things like also autofill the day with plans. AI is an actual good use for travel planning and assistance. Also competitors offer 1yr for $40 vs $60 for tripsy which has far fewer features. I do commend and appreciate the responsive and native app vs competitors who seem to be using React Native or something similar.
Amazing support
Really helpful app if you don’t have your own preferred way of organizing travel details. I have found it very useful. The thing that stands out it how amazingly responsive the support team.
Use Tripit instead
Super manual. Unhelpful. Just use tripit it lets you email your plans and it makes your itinerary for you.
Great app! Just one thing… CarPlay!
I’m getting a lot of great use out of Tripsy. However, I’d love to see it appear in CarPlay. Let me navigate to my hotel easily, let me navigate to my day’s activities and meals easily, let me easily call up phone numbers while traveling.
Good but could be better
Difficult and glitchy at times. New Activity Link and Shortcut in top menu do not seem to work.
Cross Platform Needed
Great application! I love the app overall! The worse part? I can’t use it because my family uses android and iPhones. I wish there was a way to have a web version at least if not an android version. Other than that I love the app and hope to someday use it to its full potential.
Best itinerary planner ever!
I’m going to Europe for 4 months and boy do I have a lot of reservations. This app does everything. It’s organized all my reservations in a calendar, provides weather details, time change, you can merge trips, I can add my family members. It’s so easy to navigate and has been sooo soo helpful so far. I’ll update back after my trip. My favorite feature has been that the app can take your emails that you forward to it and add in all the information as well as pull up the email (super helpful for confirmation emails that you need upon check in).

Generally good but frustrating that creating web links never seems to work correctly.
Tripsy is very useful and generally works well and as expected except for when one attempts to share a trip’s details via web link. This never seems to work correctly on either an iPad nor an iPhone. It’s very frustrating.
Still has bugs
Began to enter my vacation details beginning with flights; they were all entered manually. Then attempted to enter my return accommodation, which is 6 weeks into the future, this is when the whole process became frustrating. I could not move the calendar onto a future date. It would not move beyond “today “ despite many attempts from multiple sources within the app. While the advertising promoted a solution to my soon to be defunct trip app I have yet to experience the advertised hype. I can’t recommend this app yet.
Good but ..
Good but needs packing lists. Be so much better to have everything in one app. Would also like to easily add accomodations where we stay with friends or family. Maybe add the address but keep it private so if you share the trip it doesn’t disclose private addresses.

Incredibly poor implementation
The biggest “feature” of being able to automate booking confirmation from your email to saved trips requires you to individually forward the emails to the app. Which doesn’t parse the emails half of the time and makes you enter all the information manually. Completely useless.
Pretty Expensive but useful
This worked well for keeping a recent european trip all together in one place. Parking, flights, car hire, trains , events, accommodation. Able to see it all in a nice timeline and able to add documents and photos for easy access. price however makes it unrealistic to stay subscribed
Upgrade is dire
Useful interface has been replaced with a useless map. Can no longer easily access actual trip information. Latest version is a triumph of useless form over functionality. No longer recommended
Good but UI is hard
Like it but I just want a good screen view of my itinerary. iPad view is terrible in a small box. Puts me off continuing with app which is sad
Such an amazing app
This app is so convenient!! I used it on a trip to Europe and it made having all my reservation emails and tickets handy so I did t need to go searching through my email. And I love the whole timeline it creates when you add your event. Just an absolutely amazing app. Highly recommend
Waste of money
I was excited to try this app to organize my trip but what a disappointment! The email forwarding doesn’t work. It creates a new trip with each email you send and then you have to merge the two trips. You also can’t just notes to a day in your itinerary (e.g. wandering around a certain area with notes where to go). The app forces you to use their rigid search filter. I wished this app was better.
Just about the most perfect travel app on the App Store
Tripsy is by far the best travel tracker and itinerary app on the App Store, whether you want to have a comprehensive history of your travels, or stay on top of your plans while away, Tripsy has a clear and concise UI and comprehensive set of features. There certainly are a few things that could be improved in Tripsy however, for example the main map seems to have gotten worse in recent updates showing less of your destinations and the location search when adding activities is less than perfect. Nonetheless, all in all, Tripsy is well worth your time
Failed to meet expectations
Cancelled during a free trial. I was expecting an AI experience where I put in cities of interest and the app suggested travel /sights as options. Nope. Just a glorified calendar with ability to import all the research I do myself, elsewhere. Not good value. I can store my own research quite well and use ChatGPT for suggestions, all free.

Hard to add activities
The app seems very detailed. We want to plan our whole trips ahead of time. Well done! But: The frustrating thing is that New Activity’s Search is quirky. I always have to switch the “Nearby {location}” to find anything, since it seems to completely filter out any results more than 3 mi away. For example, use your tutorial trip to Paris and try to add a day trip to Reims, France (90 miles away). Edit: Hot tip!: Tripsy Support told me about the share-sheet extension. Simply use a dedicated Maps app, up-arrow-share it with Tripsy, and it’s imported nicely. Super easy.
Needs Trip Duplication
Wish I could duplicate current and past trips so I that I don't have to manually put the same things in the new one, same if a friend is using tripsy on their trip and they want to see where I've been. On my trips I like to make notes and save locations I either plan to visit or that I find interesting so that if I have time when I'm there I can check the app for what's closest, their hours and things to know.

Falls too short
I have used both TripIt and TripCase for years however both are starting to feel a bit old so when I saw the review for Tripsy I thought I would give it a try. I travel every single week so need a good travel management app The interface is lovely. It looks modern and colourful and is easy to work with. Forwarding booking emails to the app normally works well. So I dropped the cash for a full 12 month subscription ahead of a trip to German and another to the states. This involved flights, hotels, airport parking, car hire and other bookings. My first problem was when the desktop app stoped syncing and then refused to let me log in using my AppleID. Even now, 2 weeks later, that support request has not had a response. Syncs sometimes happen and sometimes don't. When I arrived at the airport (LHR), NOTHING! No updates on flight times, gates etc. I was running TripCase as well as a back up and that kept me up to date with gate numbers, flight delays and so on. Even now, after the trip, those flights have never been updated. I was traveling BA so not exactly an exotic airline During the trip, some booking emails were just ignored. No matter how many times sent, not a thing. Yet the following day, the same location, same booking system (OpenTable) the reservation emails were prompty imported no problem. So this app right now has too many issues (and lack of support) for me to use it as my main travel app. When I am standing in an airport at the end of a 10 hour flight, needing to know my hotel or car hire info or even next flight details, I need to be totally condfident on having up to date information I really wanted to like it and as I have paid for the year, I may come back in the future and try again but for now, this is just another app trying to displace TripIt and falling short
Expected more from subscription
Decided to subscribe with hopes the app would update me on my gate location and any changes to flight times. Though I did get some flight time changes these were often slow to come through, and gates information just never showed. For organising of your travel information though I did find the app useful and enjoyed this aspect.
