It just works. Integrates with native iOS/MacOS apis, replaces pw, I use iCloud to sync and it is flawless. Gave $10, you should too.

No new update but nagging for donation
I like the app and also donated couple months ago. But it nags again for donation. And there were not even any updates. I don't like that. Therefore I am decreasing by rating from 5 to 3 stars.

the description says yes, but again like in so many other cases the reviewer is identified as Cure53, I don't know who they are, and even if they seem trustworthy to the Keepassium team, could it be that they volunteered to do such job free of charge, and for "the better of ..." whom ? I hope behind Cure53 is not Google, or the NSA. Would it matter if the code was "safe" ? Yes, it would if they had a monopoly ...

Not working properly on iOS 26
After updating to iOS 26, the kdbx files located on iCloud Drive are frequently lost in KeePassium.
v2.4 - kopieren umständlicher
Früher konnte ich mit einem klick das Passwort in die Zwischenablage kopieren. Nun geht ein Dialog auf man muss auf EXPORTIEREN dann auf KOPIEREN klicken. Warum musste man eine so einfache intuitive Weise verschlimbessern? MACHT DAS OPTIONAL DIESEN DIALOG

Autofill reliability?
Update: autofill works better now but it’s been months since there was an update… hope it doesn’t become abandonware. The autofill feature is clunky and spotty at best. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Biggest complaint, otherwise it’s a decent app.
The best for for years now
Some years ago whatever KeePass app I had stopped working. I switched to KeePassium. So glad I did. It has served me well through the years and keeps getting better - lately with integration with iOS ad macOS.
Will not autofill passwords after initial login.
I need to autofill a password into my banking app to add payees and this app will not do it. Sometimes it works after a couple tries. It doesn’t give me the option to manually copy and paste myself.

I was so disappointed when Strongbox DEV turned out to be a sellout to the highest bidder. Leaving users desperately searching for a new alternative that would value your privacy. You guys are my Obi-Wan Kenobi. 🙌 Two requests: 1. Support for other browsers, other than using safari on macOS. 2. Support for local network sync between devices without relying on any other app or cloud service. Thank you for everything you do!

Keypassium sur iPhone ne vas pas rechercher à chaque ouverture de la base le fichier du cloud … il ouvre une base en local : les motifs faites sur un autre poste ne sont donc pas prises en compte : défaut de synchronisation!

Die App war einmal recht gut, leider geht das sei einiger Zeit, spätesten mit dem IPhone nur noch bergab. Für mich ist es.unbrauchbar geworden. Der seit langem genutzt Login in die Datenbanken hat Fass jetzt zum überlaufen gebracht. Gut das sie auf meinem Notebook weiterhin funktioniert. Spart euch die Abokosten.
One of the only ways to make offline-only passkeys on MacOS
Awesome app. Downloaded the Mac version after using the iOS version. Basically, this is the only way I’ve found if you want an offline-only way of generating passkeys on iOS, and one of the few ways I’ve found that you can do this on macOS. All the customizability and transparency for how things work is excellent
Flags critical reviews
I’ll say it again…there’s no reason an app which requires minimal maintenance and is an offline app, provides no ongoing services should be charging a subscription fee or the high price they’re charging for lifetime purchase. The developer can kick and scream and flag my review all he wants.
Gute App, ein nerviger Fehler
Ich nutze KeePassium auf mehreren Geräten, habe Premium auf dem MacBook. Zur Synchronisation nutze ich Nextcloud. KeePassium auf dem iPhone zeigt regelmäßig an, die Datei/Datenbank würde nicht existieren und liest die Datenbank nicht von sich aus neu ein. Zurück in die Datenbank speichern funktioniert aber und synchronisiert dann auch mit Nextcloud. iCloud dasselbe Problem, wenn ich richtig erinnere. Es muss doch möglich sein, die Datenbank neu einzulesen, wenn man auch speichern kann?! …
App friert beim Anschauen von Einträgen ein
Beim Bearbeiten oder Anzeigen eines Eintrags friert die App oft ein, da meine Passwörter die maximale Länge (128 Zeichen) haben. Auch Speichern dauert lange. Wenn das behoben werde könnte gebe ich 5 Sterne. Auch die Navigation ist langsam wenn man einen Eintrag mit 128 Zeichen Password ausgewählt hat.
The premium features don’t work
I bought premium to get the automating generation yet every time I try to get it to generate me the password right away it says I need to buy premium. When I click buy it says I already have it. Please fix it and I’ll update my review! Great app tho
Very good passwordmanager
Ive tried almost all of them and this was such a pleasant surprise, so fast, simple easy. Importing works well, autofill everything seamless. Passkeys work well, totp. Works well on mobile etc. great work. A+
Subscription doesn’t make sense
Charging $20 every year or $69 for a permanent license is outrageous. It’s an offline password manager, and the database can be stored on your own iCloud account, but they’re pricing it like an enterprise vault. The company isn’t providing any ongoing service besides minor updates, that entitles them to the asking price.
A good free option for mac
Overall good option, consistent ui across platforms. Some wonky window sizing and toolbar bugs on the mac though.
Probleme mit Autofill
21.11.25 Problem besteht immer noch nach Update auf 2.5 ————— Nach dem letzten Update funktioniert die Autofill Funktion nur noch eingeschränkt, es wird nicht mehr der Richtige Eintrag eingeblendet, der zum Login passt müsste. Benutzt man die Suche werden ebenfalls nicht alle Einträge angezeigt. Verwendet man die App „normal“ werden die gesuchten Daten gefunden. Bitte in der nächsten Version korrigieren. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlender Passwort Manager.

Only way I’ve found to create offline only passkeys in iOS
I was looking for an app that allowed me to generate passkeys and store them locally offline (without using a YubiKey). It seems on a Mac you can do this with software like chrome (used without being signed in) but on iOS Apple seems to make you either use iCloud or another cloud option. I even tried Microsoft Authenticator and it had issues. This is the only app I’ve found where I can generate passkeys offline only, which is pretty awesome. Customizability is pretty nice also with adding fields
Autofill flip
Autofill logins were included in free and the first picture makes it as a selling feature but it has been switched to behind a paywall. Second app I used that has done this and it is a dirty practice. Innovation is the key to add value not getting people to enroll in your ecosystem and doing a bait and switch. Goodbye
Great App But Expensive and Not Cross Platform
Great app, love that I don’t have to rely on a third party to sync. I really wish it was available on Android, Windows, and Linux however so I can just have one app and sync between them all. Especially after buying a Pro license.
Bad update
Idk how they thought this context menu opening when tapping to copy was a good idea. It should be a long press. If you tap user by mistake now you've got a menu in the way of you tapping on pw.

Simply does what it says
Clean UI, easy to navigate, fast, etc. Even includes a username generator. No notes!
Nice, but expensive
The free version is quite handy. Unfortunately, the lifetime license is quite excessively priced. Additionally clicking each category in your database plays a sliding animation that sort of freezes the UI until it completes. You can’t turn it off or make it quicker which is strange. Fine otherwise.
Perfect for keepass but..
When opening certain accounts through the app just freezes but most accounts work.

cannot see secrets or another qr code if i want to add it to another database. Makes it pretty much impossible to transfer without exporting the whole database.
New Cache Feature Causing Issue
I’ve been using this app for some time. Flawless operation until the last update. Ever since local caching was added, the database fails to open and is failing to sync with the app running on my PC. Frustrating to say the least. I’m looking for something else!
Awesome
I love this program, I don’t trust any online password manager to either bleed my data to the internet or just go away one day and leave me hanging. This is a great way to keep everything local and yet be usable. I have used many keepass variations on computers MAC, IOS and this is the one that is the best so far. It fits right in with my method of leaving the primary db on a server in my home and being accessible to all of my devices. Great Job!

Pretty good but..
The password entry and creation of this app are quite good, and its good some good templates too, the one problem i find my self facing a lot is sync issues, the app will run on its own instance of my KeePass file, and will not update the one drive file for my phone and computer to see the same files. I wish there was a sync button to just sync everything once i made a new entry or something.

Password selection not working
With recent updates, I can’t seem to choose master password from iOS Keychain. That menu is not coming up and I have to manually enter each time which is annoying.
Works great
I can tell from the developer’s remarks on socials that they understand security, which is reassuring considering there’s no official KeePassXC mobile. This app does what I need it to and is far better than any cloud-hosted password vaulting service, if you can be bothered to take the time to set it up and secure your database files with more than just a password. I hope the developer will continue to maintain this, as I’m happy to pay a couple bucks a month for it no problem. Thanks!
Hasn’t been developed in years..
No new features. Barely any bug fixes. Lacking proper integration into iOS. Look at the competition for far better options for your money. As expected, nonsense response from developer who would rather resort to personal attacks on users than address real concerns, and still no updates to application.
Face unlock issue
The face id unlock just stopped working and reinstall not helping. Has this been turned off? Would appreciate some response.
Isn’t reliable with OneDrive
My password file is hosted on OneDrive as it is an option of KeePassium. Unfortunately, I have to reimport the file every time I used the app as it doesn’t load it properly. And that’s when the OneDrive integration works..
