- Ads interrupt you constantly
- Hard to close or skip ads
- App crashes often when using it
- Too pushy about paying for pro
Nice
I enjoy this app and the UX
Too many ads
Huge selection not a bad app but I don’t enjoy listening for not even a minute to get a ad,, then 5 minutes later another one not even including the ad that was being explained in the podcast. I will not be using this app because i don’t enjoy being ambushed by ads and do not need another monthly payment like every other app
Escalation trap
Guest author Prof Robert Pape details how failure to admit failure leads to pouring more and more into a bad situation. Pape cites example after example; Lyndon Johnson, Putin, Bibi and Stable Genius.
Lagging
I like this app because the UI is solid, but it continues to have periods where other podcast apps are getting new episodes, while this one lags behind, sometimes for full days. If your feed can’t be up to speed with others, I may just have to jump.
Started long ads!
I had been happily using this app for over a year. Just lately they have started long ads that block the sound. Looking for a different app to use.
No way am I writing anything and this bs!!!
Please stop !!!!
Stop asking for a review
You ask me to rate this app every time I open it, please stop. I’m resubmitting this because it’s happening again, which is the only reason I’m giving it a 1
Fav podcast app
Love this all, tried pretty much every option but this was the best. Only reason I took off a star was it’s started, somewhat regularly, getting stuck in a buffering loop (often if another app interrupts & pauses it) at which point you have to restart to get it to play again. Once this gets fixed, 5 stars!
Visual ad
Difficult to exit so you can fast forward or rewind or choose something else.
Ok
App is OK but wish it was easier to navigate, especially unsubscribing and removing podcasts
Community
Reciting the Morning Offering with you and the hose listening prepares me for my attempt at a virtuous day. It brings back memories of my devote Catholic childhood, which I wondered from during my life. Thank you for this and your insight into our Lord’s Word, his teachings, and insight of our saints’s lives.
Doesn’t work with WiFi
Like the title says, this app doesn’t work with WiFi.
Great podcast app
I only wish you could download podcast episodes. Besides that, it is great. It is my go to podcast app.
Ad Prison
You are forced to watch a “30 second ad“ to access the app, but there’s no way to escape the ad either before 30 seconds or after. You’re still forced to go to the App Store for the ad, then cancel out of that. You’ll spend at least a minute and a half escaping the prison.
Great podcast app, but ads get annoying
I love the functionality of this podcast app for managing and engaging with my podcasts. However, in the past year or so the prevalence of ads has become frustrating when trying to navigate in the app. I know they need to make money, but the ads become annoying.
Third time listening from the beginning
Excellent podcast you guys crack me up and make my day go a whole lot easier and a lot of times the Bible verses you read hit spot on! Keep up the good work
Unable to reset password
The app fails to send a password reset link to email. I’ve checked that my email is typed correctly and it is. I’m not able to access my account. Please fix this ‘glitch.’

Not great
This App is getting more and more irritating. Far too pushy with trying to force you to sign up and pay. Making it increasingly difficult to navigate on the phone screen. If this continues, I’ll be deleting the App…
Can’t close ads easily enough

The best teacher
Every day when I go somewhere on the bus or train I listen to him and I really helpful.
Canceling
Very difficult. I tried cancelling in same day I subscribed and it is still not accomplished. Please call me!
Great listening
Informative
The ads are intrusive.

Review
Nice but too many adds

Not free
I hate apps that say they are free. Free to download yes but $40 a year after 7 days is not free
In general
Very informative for entrepreneurs Lots of sharing of interesting and helpful information
Waste of money
Subscribed to “pro” hoping it would stop the skipped episodes and copious (literally mid-sentence!) ads but it made no difference. Fully updated the app and still have problems. Absolute waste of money.
Love the concept and app but
The app is amazing way to keep all your podcasts in one place on one app. However it still is glitchy. No matter which of my podcasts I’m playing it will repeat segments a couple times throughout and then cut off the end of the podcast and not play through to the true end. If this issue got fixed it would be perfect.

Way to GO❤️❤️
My most recent rating is a 1 star.
I love the app and have rated it a 5 star multiple times, but I hate the constant requests that I wrote a review. So, I’m writing a negative review…and will continue to write increasingly negative reviews every time I am bugged about writing a review! Stop it!
Excellent
Excellent
Nice search but lacks features and popups are annoying
I like how I can search episodes for a show but it’s lacking feature parity with Apple Podcasts. I like 1.25x speed and chapters. No support for chapters. Not sure if that’s a publisher or platform problem but I like chapters to easily skip through stuff. UI elements are hostile and interrupt you all the time to explain how to use the app, upsell you to a paid plan, notifications permission, and prompt you to rate the app before you even get to use it. If you need to explain your UI you’re doing it wrong. I want the features of Apple Podcasts plus search within a show’s episodes list. Not sure why this is a paid app on iOS when it doesn’t come with features people come to expect from the native podcasts app.
Missing an important feature
Really wanted to like the app but no option to cast??? WTH!!!
SWEET
SWEEEET!
Ads don’t close, have to restart app
I’ve really liked this app in the past but the past couple months the number of ads has skyrocketed and they hijack your phone and don’t give you an option to close out of them. The only way to get out of the ad and back to the app itself is to restart the app completely. It’s truly unusable. Scanning other reviews, it seems like many others are having this problem, despite the company saying this is an unexpected occurrence that shouldn’t be happening. If this many people are bringing it up and it hasn’t been addressed I’m interpreting that as a deliberate choice. Will be looking elsewhere.
Great content
I love this app it has so much to offer for very important information of what is going on around the world. It is a great resource for Gods people .
The logic is for two stars
Hey, for starters I would like to say that this app says that one can watch/listen “for free”and I am not working, so that will be a challenge. Hopefully I can get/find the free Podcasts of Dr. Bryan Ardis, because he is newer to me and I enjoy listening to Dr. Bryan Ardis. If I can find out how I can use the free podcasts from this website, a 4-5 star review is eventually in order because this Dr Ardis deserves more than 60 minutes of my time. Anytime. Thanks 🙏
I don’t get the love
Paid for the app straight away as I hate ads and the reviews rated this so highly I thought what can go wrong. Well certainly the things I’d want can. The phone app is ok, I can’t get it to play the next podcast if I’m behind. It just stops. But the real issues are when its in CarPlay mode. It’s dire. Latest episodes don’t show the thumbnail so you don’t know what the podcast is. And again if I want to listen to more than one podcast from the same show. Then despite selected newest podcast at the top on the app, in CarPlay mode it only displays the oldest podcast. Not much help if there are hundreds to scroll through. Sorry but even paying for it I’m deleting and going back to Pocket Cast.
Simple easy
Great app with every podcast I have ever wanted to listen to
Adds
Way too many ads some don’t have any place that you can exit out you gotta restart the app. Terrible not buying anything they’re advertising anyway.
Reliable and worth downloading
Really great app! The only thing I wish was different = Wish there was a “clear all” option when removing my finished podcasts in the ‘listen later section’. I’ve been manually removing them. If anyone knows how to do this please let me know and I’ll adjust my rating.
Unsubscribe
How do I unsubscribe from this?
Intuitive but slow to pick up new podcasts.
Works really well as long as you don't want to listen to something new. I have been forced back to Apple for 34 weeks while a new podcast from a source already 'known' to the app becomes available on this app. This is not the only example.
The Podcast App Rocks!
I love the Podcast App. It’s free, most of the Podcasts are free and it’s up to you if you want to choose one that has a fee. I love keeping up with what’s happening in my own country, in the world and get that news from people and sources that I choose to trust.
So so
Glitches a lot and difficult to listen/ download episodes.
Ads
Get rid of ads.
Too many ads
This has better user interface than the Apple podcasts app, however it comes at the price of being interrupted with ads when attempting to navigate the app. Not sure what’s a worse off trade. Would love to find an app that has good user interface without interrupting the user with advertisements that they have to wait to load before closing.
good app, irritating crashes
The free version is great, with only visual ads, and no issues with the podcast listening itself - however, my app crashes *every single time* I add a podcast to my favourites, which, for a first time user, meant constant crashing and re-opening the app, dozens of times in minutes, while trying to cultivate my interests - not to mention I have to avoid adding podcasts to my favourites if I’m already listening to one so it doesn’t cut out. (Using iPad Pro)
