Love this app
The CookBook is such a fantastic app, it took some time to transfer all my recipes from notes (digital and physical), saved bookmarks, and a folder of printouts and photocopies, but oh my, is it easy to find everything now! I love the notes where I can add things like what modifications I used or which pan works best for a particular cake. So easy to recalculate ingredients for more or fewer portions, or swap between C and F for temperature! Adding recipes is so easy, and having my own photos there helps me remember what it actually looked like, not just some perfect rendering from a food blog. This subscription is money well spent!
Everything deleted
Pretty upset. I’ve had this app for a while and used it lots but haven’t for a few months. Tried to add a new recipe today and when I signed back in it now has a paid subscription and everything that was in there has been deleted. I’m really gutted I’ve lost all my recipes and won’t be trusting it in the future. Back to a Google Doc I guess
An excellent app for online recipes
This app is fabulous! I love that I can now have all the recipes I find online into one central place with a consistent presentation. A few usability issues make it not quite a five star app, but the functionality of it is excellent, I love what I can do with it.
Just the best!
I show the CookBook app to pretty well everyone I meet, I love it so much. I've scanned my favourite recipes in so I can easily find them and work out what ingredients I need to buy. I can find recipes according to what I have in my garden. No more leafing thru cookbooks and losing the will to cook before I find a suitable recipe!
Latest update
I have been using CookBook for many years and have always been very happy with it and the responses from the team, especially Sammy, to any questions or issues but I have to say this latest update takes things to a new level. Absolutely amazing. Congratulations team, great job.
The best recipe app
Updated 2025 - the updated app is amazing!!! I have been a cookbook user from the start. It’s so easy to use and a great way to store all the recipes I collect. The save from website function is great and easy to use but it’s the image to text function that works best. I have a lot of cookbooks and so when I make a recipe I load it into here so I can use the grocery list function and cross off the steps as I make them.
Best app
Fantastic update guys .. you have done amazing with the update
Wow!
So good - love all the new updates. So much time and care has gone into it, you can really tell! Thanks to whoever is behind the scenes of this great app.
Easy to use and import recipes
This is the best cookbook ever. I store recipes I have tried or want to try. Can leave myself notes on changes I would do. Definitely worth subscribing too.
Love the app
I was using the free version and at the end I like it so much that I finish buying the year subscription. I would like to ask if will be possible on the future to see the pictures of the week of the food in one page , like a week calendar of pictures , so you can have an idea of what you have that week , could be a printable PDF if is not possible to do in the app since the images will be too small :) , if is not possible is ok I still will love the app ☺️
Love it!!
I tried a couple of apps prior to this one with too many limitations and stumbled upon Cookbook in lockdown. PERFECT! It is so easy to add recipes by many different methods including importing, and it is great being able to flick back into the website within the recipe where it was imported from. It has a great planner, is easy to increase or decrease the number you are cooking for and has an inbuilt timer which are only some of the other great functionalities. Well done!
Highly recommend
I have had this App for a few years now and love it. Constantly saving recipes from websites that I like and so easy to follow them using my iPad or phone. It’s so easy to build categories which makes them easy to find.
Love it
My New Years goal was to get my recipes in order. I found this app and did the free trial but quickly knew I wanted to become a lifetime member. So easy to use, beautiful layout, everything I need in one place.
