Great app
Been using this for a few years now. It makes meal planning and shopping so much easier. I love how you can get recipes from anywhere and add them to the shopping list. I’m a huge fan. I recommend it all the time.
Does not work
Since it became Samsung food (previously whisk) it has been glitchy. Most recently, it will not open ….stating -cannot load data while in background-

Amazing app with a few flaws
It’s an amazing app if don’t say so myself. But if has a few flaws I mean you can download and save over 1,000 recipes for free and make and put them in as many different collections as you want. But it would be better if you could delete the planned, saved planned, made it boxes where the collection column is because it’s a waist of space and can save sometime from scrolling tryna find and click on my recipe collections that I want to click on so if you could delete those from being there that would be nice. I feel like you should have a choice if you want to make a collection like that not just it being there regardless like instantly with permission.

Great customized version
Love being able to add my own recipes, make shopping lists which aren’t monetized, and explore new recipes— all in one app. Life changing!
Samsung made it clunky and time consuming .
Since Samsung bought out this app , previously Whisk, it has become nearly unusable. The simplest things are now that little bit more difficult. For example there is no longer a way to search your saved recipes - you can only search their entire catalog , scrolling till you find the one you saved before. Or manually search your saved recipes. In general I don’t bother with it much anymore which is a shame.
Really good
Very good recipes with a lot of variety as well. Recipes for all different needs and it always lists the ingredients and substitute ingredients too. Shame that it has a subscription but other than that, amazing app!
Calculated calories are off all the time
If you try to loose weight and track your calories then I would stay away from this app, because calculated calories are off all the time. For example today was checking chicken recipe with feta and mozzarella and it said that one portion is only 280 calories, which is pretty much calories of chicken breast on its own. When you add it properly, even with fat reduced cheeses it would be more around 420 calories. And this, unfortunately, isjust a regular thing in this app.
Need to fix it
Right now it’s a 3 because I cannot get on it. Please fix. Thank you.

J'ai tellement aimé cette application dans le temps wisk. Depuis que c'est devenu Samsung food et avec tous les changements, l'application est moins conviviale. Les erreurs de traduction sont nombreuses. La publicité est beaucoup plus présente. Le moteur de recherche intégré pour chercher nos recettes ne fonctionne pas bien. L'importation des recettes ne se fait plus aussi facilement. Bref, vous aviez une belle application simple et pratique, maintenant elle est peu intéressante, moins intuitive et moins conviviale. Triste.
Helpful but could use 1 tweak
I use this app every single week for my meal planning and grocery shopping. I love how you can populate the grocery list from the recipes you put in your meal plan. I also love how it organizes your grocery list. Here’s one feature that I think needs to be improved: when I am looking at the meal plan and press plus on a specific day and then choose add recipe, add saved recipe, then when I pick a recipe it prompts me to pick a day for the meal plan. Well, I already did that. I started the process on a specific day. So I would like the app to “remember” what day I started from when adding a saved recipe to the meal plan.
Good except for the ads
A crossover between a recipe library and social media. The one app is trying to do too many things at one time in very limited screen space which can make the initial impression quite jarring. This app has good organisation for Recipes and makes it relatively easy to add complex recipes as well as simple ones once you have overcome the crowded pages. The reason for only 2 stars is the ads, the page is literally flooded with ads to the point where it's only marginally useful. No one minds the odd ad in an app but in this one trying to follow the recipe steps it almost impossible. The ads break up the page to the point where you think you have missed some steps but you haven't, they are further down the page where you have scroll endlessly to find them. The ads are mainly food related but I'm seeing ads for supermarkets in another country! Not helpful!

Food appropriation
I was looking for some recipes as a middle eastern Arab… until I found out there was no recipes for Arabs and no section for our cuisine but instead Israeli…. Which literally stole all our ethnic dishes and called it their own. Food appropriation with Samsung food not even giving Arabs their own cuisine category makes me give this app a 0 if I could. I missed it when it was MyWhisk. Must’ve once again sold out the company to one of the Zio’s.

Pointless Rebrand
I have no idea whose idea it was to change the name but they should be put in a bowl and blended. I deleted the app from my phone because I had no idea what it was. Had to redownload when I realized Whisk was gone, just to recover my recipes Who wants a cooking app with a name that suggests “your food will break soon?”

Can’t access instructions
Every time I try to access recipes I get redirected to fill out a questionnaire to win Le Creuset cookware. Like????? The app has gone down hill, real shame
Love saving recipes from anywhere online!
I use this app almost daily. I recommend it to everyone. As a vegan, I love seeing the health scores. I would give it a 5 star rating if I could alter the recipe and get an updated health score.
Planner Bug
Was a great app until the most recent update. Now, every time I click on a recipe in the meal planner, the app crashes. I’m so upset because I really loved using the planner.
Lacking some features
Can you please add a monthly and daily view? And the option to categorize lunch/breakfast/dinner etc via colour coding? as well as a home pantry/fridge/freezer function? Also an in app browser for outside recipes would be good instead of having to copy paste in links.

I tried to open this in my new iPhone 15 but all I get is a blank white screen so I deleted it and tried to down load and it said 35min 55 sec then that jumped to 46min…not looking good. I’ll stick to Mealime and Supercook
Awesome app with a few flaws
My spouse and I use this everyday with shopping as well as meal planning of course. We love the added resource of being part of different recipe communities as well as health issues that come up. We also love that you can import as well as manually add your own recipes. Only flaws with this app is sometimes our lists won’t synchronize even though they’re joined. I can see the weeks plan, but not the list which is very annoying but we make it work. So far it’s been workable and worth it.
Cool concept, but unreliable
I loved this app, but latest update made it really unreliable. I haven’t been able to add new recipes for two weeks now. :(

Vieles ist super wie das graben von Webseiten und merging von Rezepten. Es fehlt aber dringend Apple Siri und Apple Watch Support damit man nicht wieder lauter verschiedene Listen führen muss…
Meal planning convenience
Love that I can save recipes to the app. The meal planning feature is major plus and it is so so so nice to be able to add a recipe to my shopping list and be able to deselect what I already have on hand. Very easy to add other items to the list.
Formerly whisk
Was good for how long it lasted. I went from S3 that was my phone, super customized to Note 9 where Samsung just started pushing their apps so they can get a slice of the money from selling your data. I moved to Apple because I didn’t want another company getting my data from free while offering apps that do the same thing as the original apps but with Samsung marketing attached to it. It’s Samsung Food now because they want to integrate it with the rest of their software/hardware ecosystem like Samsung Health. They claim it’s AI integrated but if it’s based off a LLM then who cares? A software that understand nothing but is good at predicting the next word isn’t AI. It’s only gonna get worse, beyond the terrible app name change and icon color, but who knows maybe this time Samsung won’t take over an app and make it worse.
Excellent for recipe organisation and planning
I’ve been using Whisk for a couple of weeks and am pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use. There are some very useful features like the planner, shopping list and ability to scale recipes up and down and switch between Imperial/metric measures. You can organise recipes into folders, and it always refers back to the original, whilst allowing you to save your own customisations. I tend to use it to handle recipes I have found but obviously it can also provide a lot of inspiration from other users and their collections. I particularly like the nutritional info feature for assessing healthiness of recipes. A couple of good improvements would be the ability to see a day’s or week’s total nutrition from the planner, and the ability to assign recipes to meals rather than just days. Other than that, it’s excellent and I highly recommend Whisk for helping you keep tabs on and actually use all those recipes you find online.
Cannot use offline
A nice app overall. But I still deleted it because this app cannot be used without internet… so when you are in the supermarket with weak signals or in the basement or your internet is down, then all the content will disappear. My recipes are mine, they should be there all the time no matter what happens. I don’t understand the logic of this app.

But unfortunately no iPad app.
Easy to use
This app is great! I can save recipes from the web or I can find a recipe from the many communities. No matter what kind of diet restrictions you may have, there will be many options for you. Planning meals for the week and shopping for those recipes is so easy. This app makes my very, very busy life easy Thank you!!!
Ads just ruined this app
Do you like being interrupted every 13 seconds by full screen ads while trying to read recipes? Then this is the app for you!
Really good App
Saves me a fair bit of money by enabling me to plan my meals easily. Can save recipes from anywhere. One thing I would like is the ability to automate plan from Saved recipes only.
Lettergrootte niet aangepast
Ik heb de lettergrootte van mijn iPhone wat groter staan dan normaal. Whisk is daarop niet aangepast. Daardoor ziet het er nu niet uit. Graag een update.
Why no iPad Version
Why is this only on a tiny and useless iPhone app and not a the iPad.

Not able to load anything.
I have tried going on my app and it won’t load. I went to support and there is nothing on the page to contact anyone. So I can’t even rate the app, because I can’t even use it.
Cooking Aid
This app works across all my devices and makes planning, shopping for ingredients, and preparation easy. The convert units and change number of people features are excellent.
Great app but needs an iPad version
Would be 5-star but and iPad version would be much better for creating recipes and using while cooking.
