Best Lasagna Recipe ❣️
Worthless to me
Everything is in grams and ml!!!
New icon
Miss the old icon the new one is too boring. Bring the mushroom back pls
Too much clutter and AI
Used to be a really simple, straight forward app. Now it’s full of clutter and is difficult to use. Also noticed the photos for the recipes are stating to be used making AI- makes me not trust the recipes 😅
How much is it??
CANNOT FIND A COST ANYWHERE FOR HOW MUCH THUS IS UNLESS YOU SIGN UP FIRST. I NEED TO KNOW BEDOFE I SIGN UP! Feels a bit sketchy when pricing is so difficult to find!
Great app
!
Getting Worse
At first I thought this app was pretty neat. I saved some recipes and it took a bit of work but seemed solid with their free plan. Today I log back in to look at a recipe that I saved a few weeks ago and… it is locked. I can’t look at it. I have to upgrade my plan to look at a recipe that I saved? What on earth is the point of that. I won’t waste any more time or money on this app.
Review adjusted
TBF, they have good aspects, I had issues posting a recipe for over 18 months, and finally got the reply that feature was abandoned. Looks like they have a struggle with staffing, but at least I got a reply finally.
Ruining a good app
Since they continue to update now all I get bombarded with is try kitchen stories plus. I can’t even view one recipe or swipe to another recipe without having a popup I just close and reopen the app their code is ruining the app. It is resulting it in being not user friendly and promotion app now
Helpful
I like that it gives suggestions but the quantity of ingredients are missing in a lot of the recipes
Pretty good
So it is a pretty good app I got it for more ideas for dinner instead of having the same thing and this stuff looks GOOD. And it has snack recipes and shows how fast and easy a meal is. Definitely recommend.
Videos are gone?
My recipes that used to have videos not longer have them. And no new recipes have videos :-(
Brilliant but…
Awesome app with some great recipes but the ability to share your own recipes is not available anymore how come? 😢
Language
Dommage y’a pas la version fr
Limited diet options
No Keto or diary free options. The app itself is laggy.
Amazing and completely free
This app is amazing and I use it while cooking a lot. Definitely recommend it,

App doesn’t work
I love kitchen stories! It’s an amazing app and the recipes are very different and delicious. Unfortunately however since they worked on their app it hasn’t worked for me. The app is more convenient for shopping list etc but ever since the upgrade and the inability to use the app it’s been disappointing. I have started using other apps as this isn’t working. But when it does I will be back. The company could be more communicative about the issues with the app. Loyalty is important and giving good customer service which I believe they lack.
Needs Fixing
I was excited to download this app due to the great reviews. But being hit with an ‘Unexpected Error’ during sign up three times, I gave up and deleted.
Almost
If you could add/import your own recipes from other apps or whatever. This app would have it all.
Great App
I love this app! Great diversity of recipes and most are easy to make.
So disappointed..
I’m really not too satisfied with this app. I tried to log in on the website to post a coffee recipe on the website rather than the app, which is hard enough, and I hadn’t reset my password just yet. I reset my password and tried the log in again with the correct password. Nothing. Then I tried to use the old password. It still said I was wrong. It’s really hard to post recipes, and that’s the part I was really excited about. At first, I loved the idea of doing that, and letting people see the things I make, but executing that action is a lot harder than I ever knew it would be. I really wish you could start letting us post on the app again. Please don’t ask me to reach out to the company, because, respectfully, I never do that and I never will.
A bit busy
This is a very informative app, but maybe too much so. The recipes I have looked at are also busy. On another note, I got a 1 in the red dot on the home screen two weeks ago and it won't go away, even after two app updates and one iOS update. I've searched the app but it's still there. Annoying to say the least.
Videos
Did you remove all video instructions for recipes? I couldn’t see them anywhere
Filter issue
This app was my favourite, however I agree with the rest of the users. The new update has messed things up. I can’t seem to filter the recipes to new releases so it’s all a mess. I have emailed about this, but still seems to be an ongoing issue. Please sort this!
Good food
Good good
The app is getting worse
I used to love this app and wrote a dozen of recipes. It used to only take a couple of days for them to review and publish the recipes. I stopped for a couple of years and started to reuse it this year. They are short staffed so they told me now it takes over a month to review. What’s worse, many buttons on the phone app keep giving me error messages. Now you can’t even create a recipe on your phone but you have to use the web page. If you prefer to use your laptop, you’ll have to transfer all you photos there to create a recipe. Once you submit a recipe to review, you can’t edit it using the phone app-again, you need to log on using your web browser. And once you submit the change while a recipe is under review, you need to keep refreshing the page to reflect the changes. Lastly, once something is published, you can’t make any edits. Before I was able to email them but this time nobody replied to me to correct my typo. This is getting really annoying and disappointing.
Won’t let me log in after the update
After the update, I can no longer log into the app. Heard the same from others that used to enjoy the application. Please fix 9/13/23 Update After placing this review of the update, the following day the Developers of this app… really came through as now the app works seamlessly! Thank you to their teams. Love using this app! I highly recommended it!
Buggy
Clicking on the heart rarely actually saves the recipe
No pictures in the app
I keep uninstalling and downloading this app. Before, it has pictures. Now, it doesn’t show anything. I don’t know why. I don’t know if it’s just me. I really wanted to keep the app.
I love this app
I used to love this app years ago when it was just starting. I’m so happy it is still going. But what happened with the videos? I remember there were “how to” videos in the recipes - also there were some recipes who would have full videos. Are they gone??
login broken, lost all recipes
No way to access all my saved recipes because one of their login methods is broken (Facebook). Additionally I can’t even contact them for help from in the app without re downloading the Apple mail app? I don’t like leaving reviews just to get support but they’ve forced me to do so.
Can’t Sign In
Cannot sign into my account anymore…
Recipes load videos of wrong recipes
Most recipes do not load the correct video in the Apple TV version of this app. Huge let down.
Needs a dairy free option
Love this app but I have it three stars as it would be perfect if it had a dairy free option! As someone who is lactose intolerant and gluten intolerant it would be brilliant to see more recipes without dairy.
What happened…?
Kitchen stories? Can U please help me? How do you make a recipe…? Also may I ask? How do you change your flag? if you want to know what my in game account is it’s: “Kids snacks and more” Other then that the app is amazing! If u could respond it would mean a lot. Thank you for your time.
Notification glitches
App keeps showing notifications numbers and will not clear
Resolved functionality issues
Update - after several days, the app started working again. Seems to be running smoothly. I downloaded the latest app update 9/2/23 and the app no longer opens on my phone. My software is up-to-date, so it’s unclear why the app has broken. Any plans to fix this bug?
For You doesn’t work
The “For You” does not work. I can’t select any preferences. It just goes to a gray screen. I tried deleting it and re-downloading. Still doesn’t work
Creating your own recipe
If you wish to create your own “cookbook”, store your favourite recipes somewhere, this app is not for you. When selecting ingredients the app is very limited. For example, to put in a can of mandarin oranges. You cannot type your ingredients freehand. As you type, ingredients come up for you to select from. No Mandarine oranges. Then you are asked to select a quantity. Ok. Easy. Then defined quantity, be that tbsp, g, ml, etc. No can. No imperial measurements, only metric. Which I understand, as it is a European based app. But all my vintage recipes are in imperial measurements. And there is no ability to override and insert your own quantity. Very limiting. I hope that the developers will read my evaluation of this portion of the app and perhaps change it a bit, as I am also evaluating the new version with the ability to download from the web and save, which looks very promising thus far.
no chinese
why no chinese？
Shopping list removed?
What happened to the shopping list? There is no longer a button under the recipe ingredients to add them to the shopping list. This was a main use case for the app, find a recipe I want to cook for dinner, add the ingredients to the shopping list, then go to the store and buy them. I would check things off the shopping list on the store.
Lots of ideas
If you are stuck for ideas, kitchen stories can inspire you.
Measurements are broken
Many of the measurements have no units making recipes impossible to follow.
Keeps Crashing!
I managed to save a few recipes but the longer I remained in the app the more it crashed: to the point I discontinued because it crash before I even reviewed the whole recipe.
Impossible to login with existing account. Resolved
I’m getting error that something is wrong. I can’t login with my old account. I can’t create new account. After a few delete/install attempts ( and maybe application updates) it is working fine now
App won’t open
I’ve tried deleting and redownloading but it won’t open past the “kitchen stories” screen when you very first open it 😕
Brilliant app
It help me a lot in the lock down thanks.
Good app, but…..
With the app open, my iPad will not close. Security issue.
The new(ish) app icon is so ugly
This app is good. I used to have it on the home screen of my iPad, front and centre, and then they changed the icon to this hideous KS word mark and I hate it. It was so cute before. Now it looks like a crappy bank app.
