Great app
Didn’t come to 10
I sat here waiting for a very important delivery and suddenly got a message saying she’d tried to deliver. This was clearly untrue. Then a photo comes of somewhere else maybe 1-9 but I know my parcel says 10. I’ve had to get an app to put a photo of my front door. I called and said they’d try to get it delivered today so I dare not leave now is it going to come tomorrow?
Awful on large iPad
DPD use to be the best, but the app has, for some time now, been unbelievable awful on a large iPad that I just can’t use it. The text is so huge that the words don’t fit the screen. Even on buttons they are enormous so that short words get split up into lines like this CHAN GE DELIV ERY And REN AME And I say this as someone who usually has an issue with text being too small on apps. There’s a happy medium, and this absolutely is not it and has made the app unusable .
Great, until it isn’t
Twice now I’ve had a notification saying my package is being delivered to a pick up point as per my request. Problem is, I have never requested this. I don’t know how or why this happens, but as I am home and have even put what3words in my info, there should be no excuse to not get a package here. Always seems to be DPD local. Luckily the advisor on chat has managed to redirect one of them, but I’d love to know why this keeps happening.

DPD has to be the worst parcel delivery service on earth
Delivery failures
A delivery reported as failed is due to no slot forewarned though promised to given phone number. Access to sheltered accommodation needs pushing a call button for a concierge but not attempted. DPD drivers don’t or can’t read the instructions.
Great ideas poorly executed
The app itself is excellent but I live in a remote location where the postcode covers a few miles square, great! DPD uses What3Words. Enter the What3Words label and the app states it’s too far away from the original. My address is copied from the What3Words app and with respect I KNOW when I live DPD I has no idea so I need to use the “more information” space to add my what3words address. The Drivers always deliver so fair play to them but could be so much better if you remove the ridiculous notion of rejecting a suggestion by a customer, so for this I dock 2 stars

Mixed Experience
App easy to navigate but all rather pointless when it asks you to put an alternate pick up Point, which you then select as preferred delivery point, only for DPD and the Driver to completely ignore that information and fail the delivery because “Nobody was at home”.
DPD are the best!
Always such a relief when I see it’s being delivered by DPD. Always on time with great service.
Chat avoidance
Why advertise features that don’t exist. Sort it out. Helpline doesn’t answer and online chat doesn’t exist.

Some of the drivers thinks they own the World I was standing there to gove a hand with a parcel amd the driver refused to deliver it. We laughed at him so hard as he was carrying the dog food here and there. If I could I would give 0 stars

This app is absolutely brilliant,especially when ur a busy person and as look where the driver is u can always pop to shop if needed before they come with your order.
Incompetent
I received a WhatsApp message at 09.58 on 6/10/26 stating my parcel would be delivered between 15.46-16.46 by Navdeep. I then received an email at 11.51 on the same day stating that the delivery was attempted at 12.39 and failed!!!!!!!! I went onto my Amazon home page which stated the ‘attempted delivery’ was at 1.30 pm. A complete shambles. Totally amateurish. DPD automated customer service wouldn’t accept my call. Customer service call failed. Absolutely useless. Just as well that Amazon are a professional outfit as DPD certainly aren’t. If I could have given these incompetent halfwits zero stars I would have done

Lost my parcel and because I was on holiday and their app said delayed I waited till I got home to ask where parcel was for them to say even though they lost my £200 item their be no compensation . Will never use DPD again. Awful service
