Tenure
Have an option of filtering property in terms of tenure
Really useless to set up in mobile
Have not been able to set this app up on my mobile as it's impossible to enter any data. Really badly designed.
4. Star
Still shows you things like auction or shared ownership when you have selected “don’t show me”
Glitchy
Tapping on properties moves the focus to that location, then the property information minimises. Seems quite glitchy at the moment.
Can’t filter
Great app BUT can’t filter, I don’t want to see houses I can’t afford or aren’t relevant. Tried to get support, never happened.
It’s useful
Great
Please make these updates!
The app is great overall but there are two things that need fixing: 1) on iPhone you can’t click out of photos (selecting the x) unless you are in landscape view. 2) when you want to email the agent and include a message, the app always says the message includes special characters even when it doesn’t . I have had to use the website to send emails to agent because the website doesn’t have the same issue.
Add number of Bathrooms as part of the search
Can you add no of bathrooms to the search filter? for some us this is an important part of the property search.
🤷♂️
Don’t you just love an app that makes you sign in all over again every few weeks .. and won’t let you autofill the fields from passwords manager? No ‘dark mode’ either. Dazzling. Especially for looking through in these dark winter evenings after a long day at work,
Good app, but
Don’t use the free valuation option, if you do you will suddenly start getting multiple calls from random shone numbers marked as spam on who called me.
On the market
Very good
Incompetence
Try to write a message to an estate agent with spaces and it blocks you for "special characters" 🤣
Rental info
Great app. Best in terms of filters, but missing some key ones. Perhaps have options to Exclude properties that specifically state “no pets”, “no students”, “no children”, “no smokers”, “student accommodation “, etc. I’ve noticed too that even stating I don’t want to see shared accommodation, student accommodation often pops up. Also wish more places would show a floor plan or at least provide the sizes of rooms (imperial and metric if possible) if they don’t. Also, possibly allow option to multi select length of rentals. i.e. both short and long term (but excluding student/shared). Is it possible to add the expected additional costs like gas, electric, water, council tax please? But great app. Thanks!
Poor UI
Compared to Rightmove this is a frustrating app. Having to manually select lists to save properties to is cumbersome and regularly see properties saved to the wrong list. The app resets if I’m viewing a property and then switch to another app which is annoying when trying to compare data from different apps. The photo gallery needs improvement being only able to swipe right starting from the first image rather than being able to view images in reverse and there’s no option to go full screen without going to the full gallery view first. Maps lack detail and street view often doesn’t load.
Doesn’t include enough of what’s actually on the market
The app is ok, but in comparison to Rightmove, this app includes 30% less of the properties that are for sale in my experience. This makes it bit redundant to use as an app to find properties that are on the market.
Good app
Very good
App designed by idiots
When I’m searching for properties to buy it’s showing me properties to rent even after changing the preference👎
Decent but doesn’t allow you to save favourites
When I try to add favourites it just says something went wrong and doesn’t add the property. This needs sorting out
Love it, hate it
Useful, but some clunky UX where minor improvements would make a big difference. I have a love-hate relationship with the app. Some features I love, others are clunky (or missing). Shifting properties between lists is difficult for example. I have a ‘rejected’ list for when I’ve viewed a property, and to shift to this list isn’t straightforward. But I love the share with others feature because it means I can collaborate with a family member (in another country) and bring them on the journey with me.
Great app
Works well, not bombarded with notifications but everything’s seamless between web browser & app!
Worst app , glitched
If you want to use the map to see the property’s you need to have loads of patience, you press on the property 10 times and still not open the advert
Needs work for ipad
If using this app on an iPad then clicking through from an email link produces a reduced size pop-up window which makes it much harder to read. This is likely to drive me away from this portal as, for me, it is almost unusable. Please amend to produce full size property details instead of tiny pop-up windows.
Promised much delivered mediocre
They sold the dream - share searches - still mitt worked out where that bit is also says get instant price but in truth they trick you into sending you r details to every agent in a 5 mile radius so will now be spending g the next week fending off slimy agents trying to get a commission off my house
So easy
We have been looking for a house for a few weeks and found this listing so helpful with prices pictures and Estate agents .
“Sorry something went wrong”
I don’t know how many times I saw this error on this app 🤦🏻♀️
This is a clunky App
This app is incredibly clunky and you have to click so many times to get to where you want to. It seriously needs updating
Map for shortlisted saved lists
The feature I miss the most since the overhaul is the ability to see the shortlist as a map overview. Working with keywords is problematic for self typed ones on iphone, can only use 1 per search as the interface hides the list. App captured more data from me than was necessary like where I work etc, which has the potential to be useful to the AI to tell my my likely commuting time, but not seen that functionality bearing fruit yet. Overall I like the app look and feel, but definitely saw some of the basics go down in ease of use of late.
Good app
Good app
Not so good!!!
Looks a good app, but seriously needs revamping to match the online matches which it doesn’t, at the moment it’s terrible to operate, can someone revamp this app please
Awful update
The recent redesign of the app looks awful and is awkward to use. Also, on my iphone this app stops my podcasts playing for some reason. A real shame, it used to be quite good.
Useless on apple devices
Neither street view nor satellite are available on iPad/iPhone so completely useless. New app annoying in the extreme…stop trying to be clever…you’re not! KISS…Keep It Simple Stupid
Pricing
Good price options to choose from.
couldn’t work out how to become a member
Left the site because I couldn’t work out how to register. At best, it’s well hidden; at worst I couldn’t use the site even if i wanted to. Take me to Right Move
User101
Not a fan of the new layout of the App. Too many clicks to get to what I need
On the Market
It’s a great app for moving but it doesn’t have enough houses
Lovely
I love it and amazing app. It updates me regularly and very quick with my favourite location. Love it.
Very disappointed
For a while I was getting along with this app and have a lot of saved properties I’d like to recall. Not sure when it started but some while ago the app stopped displaying images - which is the whole point really. Just a grey space where any image should be showing. Have messaged about this on four occasions. This morning on the support link form Apple Store it came up with an error message so now can’t even let the developers know there is a problem. Hence this review.
My Review
It’s nice It’s helping
Map better than Rightmove
The features of this app are much better than RightMove - on map view you can see which properties you have recently viewed (grey) and favourited (heart) so you don’t keep reviewing the same rubbish over and over. Down side is that this website has the least properties on it, but hopefully that will change! IMPROVEMENTS: Ideally it would be good if you could make notes that come up when you view (e.g., when you click on a 3 bed a note could say “3rd bedroom too small” and you move on without reviewing) or you can mark properties to be hidden in searches (you can toggle hidden ones off and on).
Hopeless and inaccessible
The developers of this app appear to be blissfully unaware of VoiceOver… If you are blind, you will already be very aware of many apps which are totally inaccessible to VoiceOver, un-labelled buttons, rubbish navigation and a blatant demonstration that the developers are both hapless and hopeless. If you're blind, install Rightmove, this app Works beautifully with VoiceOver and there are no issues there with un-labelled buttons or setting filters. Developers, check your homework, didn't you learn this at school?…
