So far, I’m having fun. It’s really hard to tell if in what has changed.
No support for accidental activations that have no protections
No support for accidental activations that have no protections … and per support no reversal … I used to love this game but that has changed over the last few years.. the prestige level up button is right along what you need to scroll past to get to the bosses you need to defeat and it can set it off even if you didn’t want to …but they will never fix it and have never put a yes or no in place to avoid this … so be aware that this is but one of the frustrating issues this game now have. But there are others …

Expensive but Fun
I used to play as a kid with no job and it wasn’t fun but if you have a job and can spend a good deal of money maybe 60 bucks every month or couple of months if you really like card games this one really does it for me. Other reviews speak on losing progress Be sure to link to Apple or whatever once you’re satisfied with your account. I hope the devs listen to players as I would be very distraught if they shut down this masterpiece anytime soon. I say that because quite a lot of others have said they are not satisfied with the support or how they listen. Overall I believe it’s great visually pleasing while also being fun which is rare nowadays and they have many cards. If you miss a pack they bring them back as revival packs. Get yourself a good guild and grow.
Horrible
I just joined a guild and have to play this event. The problem is every other mission the game is force closing. I have 3 different devices 2 iPads and a iPhone 16pro max. Both my iPads force close after or before missions wasting resources and forcing you to immediately by gems just for the app to force close again. Idk how you can fix this but it’s completely unplayable. Also both my iPads are running the 17 update. Soviet’s definitely not my iPads
Waste of design and more.
The characters are cool and all but the gameplay is terrible and the character designs don’t make up for it. Not to mention it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to get gems and the RNG is terrible. The packs already cost so many gems it’s stupid. Not a really good game nor am I recommending it anymore tbh. Unless you got a LOT of $$$ don’t purchase anything it’s kind of a waste, hence why I don’t make ANY purchases anymore as it’s literally just draining my $$$ at this point.
cannot buy as all prices say loading
This game frequently has issues and since as of 8/1 we cannot buy any gems the upcoming event will be using older cards. Maker barely ever responds and issues like this persist until they notice it and ignore all support claims stating that.
Fun but dated
It’s had better days. You can collect a lot of cards, but the number of in game currencies is literally impossible to count. I can’t quit it because two people in my guild (used to be big) still play it. The micro transactions make EA look nice.

When and how this game went down
On October 28 2019 when the Earth Commander event ended I was player#1 in global rankings. 4-6 weeks after that, greed inspired the developers to destroy Legendary: Game of Heroes. Game was fun, new players were coming, people used to spend like crazy - all that until like in most of the cases - developers’ greed destroyed their own business and also players’ fun. By then, during each event players could save MC and UR dust. It wasn’t much, but if players would have played many events and saved (there were 10 types of dust: Cx5 + Sx5) at some point they could have converted it into strong new event decks. Developers didn’t like the idea, because maybe like 1 time / year, by converting the dust savings, players wouldn’t have needed to spend a cent for getting a super strong deck. So they canceled this option ruining everybody’s savings for future, though giving players the possibility to get older MCs and URs instead, in exchange for that dust. Developers always downgraded the power of older decks by increasing (bosses) new events’ difficulties; their greed pushed (clumsy) players to spend every single event cause older cards were stripped of power/value. That was the end of a beautiful game! I was #1,#2,#3,#4,#5 in global players ranking in both Commander and Slayer events - so take these conclusions and little story above seriously- like coming from a good exLGOH player.
Great game but….
This is a fantastic game but seems to crash multiple times during playing. I feel there’s also too much ‘buy a pack’ advertising. Really worth playing and a variety of scenarios. I love the card designs.
Greed
Extremely slow I-Pad performance. It’s at least 5x slower than gameplay on my phone. And, horrible drop rates… Return on investment is unbelievably bad… It’s a shame too. Game used to be the funnest game in the App Store..

Игра однообразная до тошноты. Можно годами сидеть и видеть одни и те же ивенты. При этом развивать колоды без вложений смысла нет. Каждую неделю нужно вкладывать деньги, либо годами сидеть и по крупице собирать относительно игральную колоду. А их надо 10! Скучно. Однообразно.
Fun to and Multilayered - GREAT Customer Service!
First I want to say that for issues this game has the most responsive and on point customer service I’ve experienced. I haven’t had any back and forth with email communications, but my issues get fixed. I try to be as concise as possible all the time but most devs seem to not understand or hear my issue. And I’ve always spent money, never tried to scam, so that is VERY frustrating. These guys just fix the issue quickly. It makes investing time and money in gameplay much more comfortable. I’ve stopped playing a game I spent way too much money on (embarrassing and jaw-dropping so won’t say amount but 5 figures I’m sure) for this very reason. Very thankful to them. Game play is fun. You def want to join a guild. The game evolves for me over time based on my understanding of it, which is interesting. I really like collecting cards and evolving them. Yes, its a match game but thats just the start of it. Great artwork, too.

how is this game still alive with how much money you have to sink into it every week i quit quite a bit ago cuz i lost my account (fairly sure it was gamecenter just being terrible but at the same time im a little miffed about losing an account i paid money and years of time on) but still the weekly events require you to like pour hundreds of dollars into them if you want a fighting chance in just one of them or spend months saving up for a single week of fun. Base gameplay is really fun but like literally in order to be able to play it consistently like other mobile games you would you have to spend thousands on this and just no. Good game but not the service
Be nice to receive extra gems for recruiting new players but they argue with you about it. So canceled my VIP. Yep they lose not me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoyable, but
Could you please work on making the old generation cards viable again? For example, I love The Allmother card, but even at double pink stars, she just isn’t usable to any effect. Same with Wicked Witch, Queen of Hearts, The World Tree, and even Erelahs Demon. Her battle skill is to make 8 dark gems? With all the work it takes to get her and she is only Half what you need to make the chamber of the endless and then they are just…underwhelming. Please make the old cards worth it in comparison to the new cards. I want to be powerful with my favorite cards, not just the current ones. .

Money trap
You want to kill some hard bosses, be ready to spend more than 100$ per month on the game... and yet this is not even a certainty for the first 6 months as you will have to build tens of decks. Being a VIP does not guarantee great decks. Most of the grinds are for useless cards. I tried vip and got close to nothing diring my allowed time. Concept is great, though
They’ve done it again
I used to play this game and then I quit when they changed the currency a few years back. I got sucked back into it to help my old guild with GvG and now that I finally have all the relics to eliminate shields, it’s not enough. Now you have to have a card that breaks 8 additional shields. Regardless of how many shields your relics break, there are 8 shields that cannot be broken without an event card. So, if you don’t have every event card and every relic, you’re screwed for that event. So many players have asked for variety, something to make the game interesting and the only thing these developers can come up with are ways to make more money. It is literally the only thing they care about. Canceled my VIP—again.
Amazing Game!
I just love this game. Amazing character design, and gameplay but most of all they want you to succeed! You acquire currently and are able to get heroes easily! Great game!
Poor support
The game crashes on a regular. You pay for gems for an event you can’t even play you contact support nothings done. They refuse to compensate for lost money or gems. Just terrible service. For a game you HAVE TO PAY to play and they rigged it so you have to spend more money just to try and compete only to receive useless none event cards. You literally have to spend over $40 just to get one of the heroes the event hero’s maybe. Just sad is all.
Takes too long to start
I’ve been a fan of this game for a while now, but I haven’t played it in my iPhone 7. I downloaded recently but the loading time is long. Developers, can you please fix this, thank you.
Once was fun.
Lots to love, sensational graphics, great interaction through guilds. Complex and interesting. A shame the devs constantly meddle to find new ways to increase $$ spending. Gem crush touted as a positive:effectively cuts performance of existing top decks by half. Combos of 140+ down to 70. No fun when you cant kill bosses at the same level any more......even spending $40 per month on VIP isn’t enough to be competitive. Lots of Trump style talk about wanting players to have a rewarding experience....but actions don’t back it up. A shame.

I used to play this game a lot and I love the art work but the same two events are getting boring. Plus, the commander events are way too time consuming.

This WAS a good game with a great community but the developers have trashed it in a grab for cash. Don’t bother playing unless you have hundreds of dollars to waste.
Dosent allow you to grind
I have played for 2 days now reached level 25 but now its at a stand still considering it takes 5hours for the stamina bar to fill, then after it does i can only complete TWO stages? Thats a bit rediclious i would have loved to play and grind this but it got boring fastttt

Latest version of game.
The new change implemented has made this game less enjoyable. You cannot now collect cards which can be reused, you have to spend $100 every seven days in order to stay competitive. It is not a game of luck nor skill anymore, but how much you can spend. Do not waste your time on this game!!
Too little too late
Played game since inception 3 years ? Of total immersion... loved it however recent changes have made it totally impossible to get anywhere in the weekly comps. Very very disappointed looks like they want ppl Spend big dollars.... not happening I WONt never have never will. My Guild of 30 now has 19 players they’re dropping out like flies, no way now we can compete like we have in the past. None of the more experienced players in any guild out there are happy with these money grabbing changes Do yourself a favour DONT BOTHER WITH THIS ITS USELESS NOW ABSOLUTELY USELESS
Crashes a lot (iPhone XR)
The app has some serious issue with crashing. Assuming a memory leak. Sadly, this leads you to lose keys when you are in the middle of a lvl and it crashes. Additionally, there is an issue where they inconsistently pause the game. In iPhones, with the game so close to the bottom of the screen you wind up doing the action to pull the screen down. This is incredibly irritating in a timed match where it doesn’t pause. In other matches I’ve seen it pause. Granted, I think it should. It would be a wise way to handle this gesture, but their inconsistency is baffling.
Legendary service!
By far the best customer support/service I’ve ever experienced with any game I’ve played. I’m impressed and I’d recommend this game to anyone I know. Not only are they loyal to the players but they’re extremely helpful and are fast at responding and will help with almost any issue found. The art styles are beautiful and they never run out of creative additions and bug fixes (I haven’t seen any bugs because of how on top of it they are) they’ve helped me recover my account that I’ve had for over 3+ years and had lost due to device issues and was forced to switch to a different platform. I HIGHLY recommend this game, the grinding is fun and easy and it’s BARLEY considered a pay to win.You can get booster packs and such but with a couple hours of grinding you can exceed what any pack offers. Except of course the very rare packs that show up once in a blue moon that can give u a big boost in cards/hero’s but the price matches it better then any game of its kind. Most games scam by not giving enough for a high price or giving too much for a low price but they nail everything perfectly and have a healthy balance of price and quality. I’m very impressed and look forward to supporting them through future purchases and continuing to enjoy the product they’ve created. If you are thinking about getting this you very well should, it’s very addicting. :)
Stole my money
So this game is impossible to compete in without hundreds of dollars thrown at it. Okay, whatever. But. I opened vault during a bogo event that if I got a relic, I would get a copy. I pulled a relic, didn’t get a copy, contacted support who responded like a bot, or English is not their first language, who did nothing. They just affirmed that I should get one. The end. Event halfway over, no second copy of relic. Also, it has been years since they’ve done anything substantial to the game. It’s bloated with useless things, hard for new players to know what is worth the time, all while adding constant power creeps that force you into throwing hundreds a week to compete. Where is that money going? Certainly not to grow the app. Or maintain as it crashes often.

Addictive but glitchy
Great game, but the constant issues of being kicked out of game at most inconvenient times can be a major hassle and will affect gameplay. To the creators : I am not the only one experiencing this so please fix.

Not bad - just need lots of time & money
This is a retrospective review. The match 3 system is fun and the artwork is pretty amazing. I had been playing this game for a year about 2 years ago and the guild I was in was super supportive. But events require you to be really dedicated to the game, almost playing regularly (like every few hours and not just short bursts of playing), to really compete, get higher up in event leaderboards for good rewards. That there is the first problem: you need to dedicate a lot of time to be good (if F2P). They tailor the game so that if you’re spending, you’re getting better: but then so is every other spender. If you can get into a good guild, that is supportive and helpful, that’s a win. Time is of the essence and I have less of it.
