Just disappointment
The game has completely lost its point. I’ve been playing for over six years and have reached VIP level 9; I’ve poured so much time and money into this game. Yet, I’ve never once landed a valuable prize in the roulette—not a single time in six years. What’s more, it’s now impossible to claim a good reward during events, no matter how many resources you’ve stockpiled—unless you spend extra money. It’s incredibly demotivating. Bring some life and fairness back to the game! Otherwise, I see no point in continuing

英雄等级能重置就好了，很多低星或者五星英雄等级升上来后不想用了，升级材料不能退回，后边的英雄还要在慢慢攒材料才能升级，这样真的很浪费时间

Game used to be ok. More than few you are thinking you’re engaged with actual people but it’s mainly robots (AI). Sum it up; you’re paying money to get an advantage over fake people. Maybe it’s staff, people paid to play game or literally AI. Either way, save your time and money and move to a different game.
Arena needs fixing.
This game is a blast to play. I have played others that are similar, but they are too ungiving when it comes to the players needs. The games have to make some REAL MONEY to keep going, & that’s a fact; but to overcharge for all the needed items is ridiculous. This game is definitely more generous with giving out needed equipment rewards. There is, however, a big difference within the game as far as giving Dragon Coin (gold) rewards & Dragon Coin (gold) prices charged for what players need. The gold for rewards is eked out a little at a time, whereas the gold charged for what is needed is about 10 times what is given for rewards. That is the main thing that blocks building up the heroes & needs to be greatly adjusted. When that is fixed, I’ll raise my star rating.
Falling
This was a great game. I recommended it to my friends. Then they started merging servers and hurt the game. Now it bugs out all the time. Boots you often. What use to be a 5 to 10 minute collection of daily quests can take up to an hour or better. Developers please fix your game! I really enjoy it and have even spent some money on it. The constant boots are about to make me quit the game and I don’t want that!

My Favorite Mobile Game!
I love this game so much. It is very easy to understand and so much fun. I am more amazed everyday. Plus the developers take very good care of it. It runs great and adds new events regularly. This is not a game where you have to spend a lot of money either. They give everyone so much. Definitely try it.
Entire game based on 1-2 heroes
There’s an insanely OP hero called Balrog that literally EVERY high level player uses. Some of those players even use multiple Balrogs. If you don’t use him, you will 100% lose against any team that does. Also, the material used to get this hero is something called “Sacred Emblems” and the game does not describe how to earn these AT ALL. I absolutely loved this game until I discovered that it’s entirely based around one ultra OP hero. Completely idiotic design.
Fun, but a few things to consider.
I’ve been playing Trial of Heroes for about 4 or 5 years now maybe more. Out of that time I’ve had fun collecting the awesome-looking heroes the developers have created and getting those heroes the top armor and upgrades. Even after the amount of time I’ve spent on this game, I consider myself a medium-tier player. Before you start playing this game, please consider all I have to say about some parts of the game: This game is not meant for anyone who thinks they can get on and after just a few months will have the best heroes, armor, and upgrades. This game will take you a long time to progress and it is something you must stick with daily by doing the daily challenges and collecting your resources if you want to complete the monthly challenges which some of them can now be hard to finish even for a long-time player like me. Guilds will want you to check in every few days or they will kick you (depending on the guild, but this is most every rule for every guild). You will have to wait and be patient, especially with your summoning scrolls for the light and dark hero summoning events as it takes up to 2300 scrolls (depending on the hero, you may have to spend all of your 2300 scrolls if you want enough copies of the hero to have a fully upgraded hero, but this is not always the case) to get enough copies of the hero to upgrade it to the highest level which is 16 stars. By patiently collecting up your scrolls, sources of life, and other items then you will be able to benefit from the weekly events they have for each of the resources like the summoning scroll events, the source of life events, and the magic and epic magic coin events. Each of these events has different heroes you can get by completing them and some have light and dark heroes you can get so save your resources! Skip any event that does not have a light or dark hero or hero you need. Having enough resources also means you will have to skip some of the summoning scroll events that are not for the light or dark heroes so that you can get enough copies to make the hero to the highest level (If you want the best heroes, you will always try to go after the light or dark heroes). Skipping events is very important and you should consider skipping most events so you can acquire enough resources to complete the events that have the heroes you need. There will be some events that have a light or dark hero for using enough of that resource, so consider this before you skip the event. This game also has a large pay-to-play aspect. Some of the best items are called galaxy legendary artifacts. These artifacts are gained after you’ve acquired the legendary artifacts (which are also very hard to get) and waited for the event where you can change them into galaxy legendary artifacts. Turning them into galaxy legendary artifacts is VERY expensive as the legendary artifacts have different levels and require you to pay money to upgrade each artifact to the next level once it’s been upgraded to galaxy. The developers do not allow you any other way to upgrade these items into galaxy legendary artifacts unless you pay, but this is mostly for the higher-level players who need to worry about this. As for paying for the other packages they have, these will only help you gain heroes or items a bit quicker. I have paid for a few of these packages to get a few heroes quicker and I can’t be sure to even myself if they were worth it. They do help make the packages worth it a bit more by giving you VIP experience for buying these packages. Each package gives you a different amount of VIP experience and depending on your VIP level you will get different bonuses, but even then it’s not a big difference in getting you to being a higher-tier player and once you’ve gotten to a certain VIP level, it requires you more and more experience to level up your VIP level..so you have to spend more money on more packages to get to enough VIP experience to get to a higher VIP level which helps in some things like how much coins, soul shards, and exp you get as well as tavern quest increase and hero capacity increase. It is possible to play as a free-to-play player, but it will just take you longer to acquire the top-tier heroes and will make you want to spend money on these packages, but think twice before you do. I know a few players who only play as free-to-play and are at my level with top-tier heroes. Overall, this game is not for everyone. Not everyone will like it. If you like spending a long time acquiring heroes and upgrading those heroes with armor, artifacts, and bonus upgrades and creating a team of your top-tier heroes then battle in the games arena against other people’s team of heroes and other weekly events such as the world championships where you fight other people’s teams from all the other servers then you will like it, but just remember there will always be someone who has a stronger team than you and will have their heroes decked out in the top armors, items, and upgrades. Consider all this before you play this game.

Very disappointed in this game. I got to 2-10 and now it says it needs me to be lvl 19 and im lvl 17.

Great Game!!!
I have been playing this game for quite awhile now. It is very fun and very challenging. I feel this game could be checked over by admins a little bit more when my overall battle attack is over 1M points and I seem to lose to those with 200K Battle Attack points. This seems hacked to me on that part. The rest of the game is fun and amazing!!
Very very very p2w and no pity.
This game on the surface seems fun and addicting but you will very quickly see in about 3 hours or less of playing this game how p2w this game is. The game rewards you but the quests you have to do aren’t scaled correctly for the work being done. Also there’s no pity for their summons so you’re screwed even if you spend a lot for summons. One of the heaviest handed p2w gatchas ever. It’s 2025 and they don’t even have a f2p V.I.P system. Do not spend your money on this game but if you got massive patience and don’t mind getting screwed over 97% of the time then this is perfect.
Review
The game is so far keeping me interested and fun. There are some things that the developers could improve on. For example , The resolution is blurry like 380 style . I wish I could see the characters more in detail. Especially when battling ! Or fight bosses . Same goes for the bosses . I can’t really see them .

Spent a lot in my first week of playing this game but did not get a good 5 star champion worth levelling up. Then reading into how much more investment is required even when you pull a good champion, is a shame. But otherwise fun game

Good game play
This game has good game play I enjoy it but it crashes all the time and now it won’t let me login back in for 2 days now what the hell is going on. I would have given this a game a 4 star if it didn’t crash all the time and than act like the game doesn’t work for 2 whole days. I have spent money and everything because I enjoy it but the stupid stuff is the problem which making it not enjoyable any more..
Prepare to pay
Albeit this is a good game it’s not a role play game it’s idle. It’s literally an upgrade to win game. Been playing two weeks and realised I have spent over £1,850!!! I have emailed developers about maybe giving something back to players but I have been ignored twice now which speaks volumes. Everything costs if you want to progress even at a steady pace. You will not enjoy this game if you are not prepared to pay to progress. I like it but when I realised how much I spent on the game in 2 weeks I was ashamed and frustrated that you have to keep paying over and over again for not much back and it always ALWAYS has something to buy to progress quicker. Developers should be focusing on players not money. If their way forward is making players pay big money then developers should be prepared you really reward big spenders like me not ignore me! Not expecting a response to this either given my experiences so far. Hopefully they do and can help me and other big spenders!

Love this kind of game but hate feeling like you have to play all the time this is absolutely perfect I just play whenever and I still get rewards and progress from being off!!! Takes a while to get used to it but once you do I would recommend to anyone debating getting it or not! You don’t feel pressured into paying and it’s def not pay to win it’s just the perfect ignore all of the bad reviews on this they just being stupid this game is the best!!!

It's okay
It would be perfect if it wasn't such a pain to get materials and finances. Plus the lowest price for a package is 5 dollars. If there was some priced at. 99 cents or 2.99 I would be a bit more willing to buy. Usually with games I start with small packaged I tend to then spend more money. Just a couple suggestions.
Nice game to start but eventually gets boring
Trials of Heroes is a nice game when you start but eventually it gets very boring and hard to progress if you’re not willing to spend a lot of money. Developers continuous come up with new incentives to spend like introducing pointless new heroes that add nothing new to the game except another goal to spend money on. If you download this game I would recommend to keep your money in your pocket and save it up for something you always wanted. Not really worth it spending money in this game.

Finally able to get past the loading screen which takes a bit to load. Unfortunately, this game isn’t for me. Maybe might suit others that like the style. Not too keen on the style myself.

fun game no crashes yet
Unplayable unless you draw the top tier units
Early game is okay but without certain units like Camazotz you will never progress in game no matter how much time or money you invest into the game. Beating Camazotz is impossible unless you have Camazotz. You will literally lose to everyone that has him even when they aren’t powered up at all. Routinely lose to players with 1/4 to 1/3 of my power just because they have this unit and I don’t. Do yourself a favor and never play it.
Be prepared
Def a fun and very cool game, but be prepared for major lag. Your gonna spend a good bit of time waiting for the game to cetch up to itself. Its pretty bad at times lol

Come for an idle RPG, stay for the P2W
This game is vaguely entertaining, however the micro transactions and scummy events which force you to blow all your savings just to complete them only to get some random 5 star hero and ‘prestige medal’ is absolutely disgusting. Granted if you play the game for long enough you will be able to easily get what £100 could get you, albeit in a month. *Update, the developers have completely gone Ea and introduced the ‘Dragon boat race’ a lovely event where you I’ll have to spend £600, Yes £600 to complete, so if you like supporting pieces of utter excrement in their retirement fund then this is the perfect game for you.
Auto fighting
I love games like this but absolutely hate auto fighting I think auto fighting lacks skill. I don’t want to rush through levels just to level up. I’ve just loaded this game, love the way it looks but I just wish I could choose how I fight.
