So I downloaded this game because I saw Husain play he is a youtuber and he made a ranking mobile games vid and damn this was good i love puzzles and I’m only 8 and the designs too everything is good nice gameplay amazing designs it’s so nice!
Been Going Downhill
11.5 years I’ve had this game. Endgame is too grindy with 20min dungeons requiring ultra rare teams. Abysmal roll rates always below what’s posted in expensive collabs. Not worth it any more. I’d rather give my time to something fun.
love this game
I keep coming back to this game and have been playing for about 10 years. I really like the egg machines and the variety of drops. the toggle for moving backgrounds was removed or hidden and that’s my only issue :/
Not what it once was
I used to play this game YEARS ago! It was basic and cute and you just went into monster dungeons and they were actually challenging. Now it’s just random dungeons where you can’t even use your own team. I miss the old version where it was just actually monsters, puzzles, and dungeons.
Space hog of a game
I love this game but it's WAY larger than the 300MB as described in the app store. It's actually quite a space hog which is a shame because there are more complex games that don't require so much device space. I love Puzzle & Dragons Z on 3DS and wish this game wasn't so demanding in terms of device storage so I can play it again but I deleted it because it's pretty ridiculous. This game alone was hogging my storage and slowing my phone down. Also the game's focus isn't really on dragons anymore, all the cards you get are weird anime girls. I wish I played this game in its heyday before it went so downhill, but I'll stick to my Puzzle & Dragons Z on 3DS.
12 Years of PAD
Been playing since 2014. This gameplay never gets old. All the collabs constantly make this game feel fresh as well. You’ll pull certain monsters and slowly find the play style you enjoy playing. Everybody has their preference and I happen to be a “match as many T’s as you can” player. My only complaint is the new player experience. This update appears to have consolidated many dungeons into a less overwhelming format. This is definitely a step in the right direction along with end game dungeons telegraphing large attacks. We have had many convenient 3rd party resources come and go due to GungHo constantly shutting down these resources due to copyright. The best solution would be GungHo adding MORE dungeon info. These new end game dungeons are not for the faint of heart so it should definitely be priority number 1 to make the game more accessible so players don’t have to feel compelled to use 3rd party resources.

It gets to a point where every dungeon is too hard and too complicated for the average player. Not fun at all.

fun buggy glitching game
i used to really enjoy Puzzle and dragons however in the last 6 months i have had over 20 different accounts pirated or hacked. i’d log in and i’d be missing units or stones or my account would sometimes just be wiped and i’d have to restart. even with my recent account i have had units missing stones taken away from me or i’d be playing a dungeon and i’d be logged out for some reason.. and when i’d log back in i’d be missing more units or other things in my account…… i’m really puzzled as to what is happening as puzzle and dragons is actually a fun game, however lately it has been everything else but fun or enjoyable for me… hopefully things can be fixed and or addressed ? as i do want to keep playing if possible.
Inconsistent
I love the game, gameplay is great and I think there is a good increase in difficulty over time. The variety of abilities and build styles really make this though. The only issue, as a player who’s been here for a couple years, is the ordeal system and evo system. I don’t know if I’m crazy or the only person saying this but some evos are worse than their previous form, and no I’m not talking about assists. I think a big one for me is Reincarnated Toyotomi. His normal ability enhances and locks orbs, but his ordeal evo completely gets rid of both of those, and the same goes for Takeda Shingeb. Maybe his awakenings are a little better, but I don’t think they justify getting rid of the enchanced orbs ability. I feel the same way about Tomoe Gozen, originally changing several rows to fire to only turning fire orbs into combo orbs. Once again maybe the awakenings may justify it or maybe possible team usage but it just seems inconsistent to me. This is especially due to the fact that some of the new ordeal evos have leader abilities increasing attack by up to 100x whereas these older Japanese and possibly even Greek characters are suffering due to power creep. Once again maybe I’m crazy, and the build opportunities are better, but I just feel some of the things that made the characters good in the first place were removed, but do take this with a grain of salt as I’m not somebody who has the resources to pull off any of these builds.
Best puzzling game
This game has the perfect amount of content to bring you back but not force you to play constantly, and has been entertaining for around 15 years for me, though I take extended breaks. Devs are generous with free gems and pulls, and there is an incredible amount of skill expression and planning ability. Just needs more official dungeon resources.
Game needs a pity system
It’s insane to have a Gacha game, with an exchange system, but not all units can be traded for. Literally the way it is set up, I could spend an infinite amount of money and NEVER get a specific unit I’m pulling for. That’s wild in 2025.
im confused
i’ve been playing this game on and off for years now and i decided to play it again. except i can’t as it’s telling me i need 1.3 gigabytes of free space on my phone, you’re telling me i need MORE than 15 gigabytes of free space on my phone? has this app ever been that big?
Data loss urgent
I logged on today and it made me downbload game as a new owrson, i think it was dataloss. I played for weeks and now everything is gone.

No longer compatible with my I Pod
I have been playing this game off and on since the month it came out. I had like 500gems,was level 1000 something had a ton of monsters including all the star wars and reincarnated as a slime ones, all on Ipod. I believe my 1st was a gen 5 and this one is a gen 7, now it is no longer compatible, so i can’t play or find out my account id to transfer it to a different device like if they finally start making ipods again. Cuze this is the only thing i play music on, and this is the only apple device I own and have ever considered owning. I suppose it don’t matter, they made the menus so hard to navigate the last time I played it deterred me from ever playing again. However i did enjoy listening to the different battle music i had unlocked. Going to miss that.
Loved this game for years, but now it won’t stop lagging
Still love the game but it lags so bad even on my new iPhone it’s almost unplayable. Very disappointing
Game is fine, just stingy and the friend system is terrible
The way the friend system is set up makes it almost impossible to complete stages. The random support friends are almost always useless and i usually have to do 5-6 stages i dont even want to play in order to even get a decent enough friend to do a difficult stage. Along with this it seems like they really dont want players to get magic stones easily without paying. Have fun spending the whole day playing a mobile game just to get a summon in which you have a 2% chance of anything halfway decent.

Add a section called new it’s annoying seeing the monster showing how much monsters we have new and I have to waste my time trying to find the last 1 new monster it’s annoying
Pvp dungeon
I live this game been playing off on on for years, but during highschool i had the thought of going against my friends, like a dungeon pvp, where at a certain level you and your friends can go against your monster box from weakest to strongest, and able to select the amount of floor from 5, 10, or select amount or all of their monsters, and depending on what level you are compared to your friends will be easy, hard, or the higher difficulties, if theres a way to bring this to life id really like to experience this.

i use a vpn but you app rejected my attempts to use your marketing scheme to get a new game … it’s illegal to require locations via gps or ip without concent …but its super illegal to deny service because someone wants to protect themslevrs ehile still allowing people who pay to use vpn unless stated in the error message… you only imply connection issues when there are non except for your own making …, which is illegal

Great game with an issue
I’ve been playing this game for about a decade and my only complaint is about the ads. Normally the ads are alright (for ads) but every once in a while you’re shown ads for that’s are pornographic and gambling scams. If this issue didn’t exist then I’d give the game 5 stars.

I like the game but there’s some problems
Every now and then the game will just take the monsters you get. I had almost the entire Halloween event monsters from either two or three years ago got busy and couldn’t get on for almost a year and all but one out of the 25+ from that event were gone. Then for a while I been thinking I was just overlooking my Gore Magala but then I looked in the monster book and I notice that it said that I had zero. Gore Magala is the fourth strongest dark dragon in the game and I don’t sell my dragons.

A Once Fun Game Ruined by Greed and Complex Gameplay
I played this game when it first released and had played it daily for years. I took a break from it for a couple of years and had recently started playing it again. I was shocked to see what it had become. Its over complicated mechanics and needless difficulty spike has drained all fun and enjoyment out of this game. People claim this game is generous because it constantly offers free magic stones and pulls from the egg machines; and while this is true most of the monsters you recieve are useless for completing the more recent dungeons. You have to be lucky enoughto pull a viable monster. On top of that you are have to pull from the machines because monsters you recieve from dungeons are mostly useless. On top of all that the unnecessary amount of grinding for evo material now is just plain annoying. Suffice to say, I won’t be returning to this game again. Way to ruin something that at one time was one of the best gaming appa.
Too much...
This game has been fun for the past 5 years. That’s right, 5 years. I’m at level 430. But this is where it stops. Why did guys make these gems in the last update? Completely ruined the game for me. The system was complicated enough as it was, this move was just stupid. Monster exchange wasn’t a bad idea, but not to exchange for these gems...it’s too much. I guess 5 years was a good run... I’ll check back in a year and see if you were smart enough to remove them.

GungHo, you're shooting yourself in the foot.
Stop killing player projects. They've killed off Ilmina and PadGuide, and now the game is virtually impossible to approach without these resources. There are over 10,000 cards in the game and there is not a SINGLE USABLE WAY IN GAME TO SEARCH THROUGH THEM. It's too bloated and they refuse to let their community help them.
Needs a higher resolution version for iPad Pro.
Love the game, but it would be even better if there were a higher resolution version for iPad, not to mention newer high resolution phones.
Extremely fun game but unplayable if you’re at risk for migraines or seizures
I was really loving this game, it’s very fun and engaging and there are some pretty cool creatures to collect. Unfortunately, at some point while playing I got a really big combo, and bright strobing rainbow colored words popped up all over the screen, and immediately sent me into a migraine attack. I looked all over settings and couldn’t find any options to turn off the words that pop up, even though they’re not really a necessary part of the game. So I guess I won’t be playing it anymore unless they add a photosensitivity option.

My experience playing everyday since 2013
I started playing this game with my best friends in high school, clearing dungeons together. A few years later, college came and we all went our separate ways, most of the others losing interest in the game completely. I continued to login daily for the rewards and to maintain my streak. After over a decade of play, I have watched this game develop cooler mechanics to keep up with the insane power scaling that we have reached over a decade later. I love this game, having poured my fair share of money during my intense gacha days, but the NA dept seems to lack the same support the JP servers get. Many of the collabs and cards I see released in JP never make it to NA. There also aren’t many NA support websites (RIP PADx), and have to resort to using JP server websites to keep up with the current meta.
Best Puzzle Game
This is by far the deepest and most interesting puzzle game there is. Make your teams from thousands and thousands of gods and monsters and improve them in a half dozen ways. Every day there are puzzles and challenges, and you are rewarded for playing regularly.
Impatient
I hate games where I have to sit through 30 minute tutorials. I have no patience even if the game is interesting it makes me rage therefore one star. I couldn’t even do what I want, I have to constantly click on what the game wants you too do so deletion. If you have patience by all means go for it. It I do not. And to be far I have it time with no value
