I have a 2550 streak and I’m about to lose my streak because I can’t ask for credit if it’s past the time I would like if you could fix that because if you brush but don’t finished 2 min you can’t ask for credit thank you I love this app

The brush is goshted and is not showing sparkly the support is not responding and I have contacted them a billions of times and still won’t answer my questions great app other wise I also get a error saying that I can’t feed sparkly and I can’t get rid of the error. The new backgrounds look good and I like it the neon background the most and I love the rainbow color please make a neon ears and neon paint to go with the background and Make a way to remove the voice in the background Also the toothbrush on the sink map is glitching every time I take sparkly to the dentist and also manifests the tablet in black.I don’t know if it’s normal or not but I would like it if it didn’t have a glitch and it is not giving me any gifts sparkly just simply smiled and did not do anything besides smiling at me.
Wants to be a game
I would love to be able to lock some of the game options that distract from the benefits of this app. Instead of brushing teeth, our kid runs off with my phone and plays with the voice modifier. It's a struggle every night and there is nothing short of hovering over him to snatch it away that deters him from goofing off with the app rather than just BRUSHING HIS TEETH. The pet is fine but the app just adds to his screen time right before bed. Please add some parental controls to turn off side features!
Great app for any toothbrush!
We got the sonicare electric toothbrush for kids and it’s super cute because it comes with stickers and it’s a great step up from a regular toothbrush after our eldest had two cavities. I got the app to go with it. I have a different type of electric toothbrush that also does mapping while I brush so I expected this one to do that too but it does not. I imagine that type of technology is coming, but this does not have real time mapping. But it works great! My youngest even does it with his normal toothbrush because you can use any kind of toothbrush with the app. It’s been a great motivator to get the kids to brush morning and night because they want to feed their sparkly and dress it up and get the prizes and see if they can get new stuff that they’re waiting for. For those who might be a little sensitive to sound and sensory stuff I would just turn the volume down as it can feel a little rushed for some. They even have coloring pages you can print! A huge win for our family! We are hooked! Thank you sonicare!! (written with voice text, please excuse any errors)
Animations all choppy
Same phone/OS but lately the animation is all choppy which causes more strife at tooth brush time. Now I regret this purchase as it’s just another obstacle getting through brushing.
INCREDIBLE! But laggy
I was trying to ask for credit on the calendar and it took 13 seconds (not to be exact long) but usually it was like WHOOSH done but now it like ………….. done. Also I have to force quit to connect my toothbrush like HUH I also want you to add for food and clothes and background items and maybe filters like you can look like your sparkly now enough yapping for me. Just wanted to let you know
Needs work
Love the idea- but this app really lags and drives me insane. To the point I dread using it. It works for my kiddo, but the parent app is super slow. I have a yellow notification but there is nothing to approve- this also drives me insane. This app could for sure use an update

Gifts disappear
Great app in theory, terrible app in everyday use. My kids love this app and get excited by the presents they earn every day. However, they are just as disappointed and upset when the items they earn disappear. Almost daily, when they open the app in the morning, the food they earned the night before is gone, and not because they fed it to their sparkly. Just tonight, my son earned a food item and the when he opened the app back up to show me, it was already gone. We are at the point where is causes more issues and upset to use the app, than to just brush without it. Our app is up to date, so it’s some other kind of glitch.
Pretty Amazing!
It is a VERY good app. I am actually going to Middle School and I still use this app! The only reason it’s 4 stars is because basically to unlock just about EVERYTHING, you NEED to have the Sonicare toothbrush. I don’t have it, so it’s annoying, because I barely have ANY content. In my opinion they (the creators) should add AT LEAST two more things that everybody can use.
Kids love it. I hate it
It’s really fun for the kids. But I have two little ones (3&4) that need supervision to brush. So they are doing it together at the same time But I only have one device for them to watch. They both want to open the gift at the end of brushing and choose how the character looks. I wish I could just manually update their streak and have them both earn rewards on their own profile. There doesn’t seem to be a simple way around this headache.
Great app needs a little work
I love the idea and the concept. There is way less of a struggle to have my kids brush their teeth. They even ask me to brush their teeth. The character is adorable and the whole idea around it is genius!! I love how they can feed it and it teaches great dental hygiene!! But There are some bugs that need addressing. The only country we can select is Australia. It sometimes has a hard time connecting with the toothbrush. My child can create all sorts of new accounts but I can’t delete them. I highly recommend!! I just hope they fix these bugs!!

Once a great app
Once a great app two years ago, but not anymore. I’m unable to sync their past profiles on the new iPad. The info just won’t transfer over. I also can’t edit their brushing dates. Before if they didn’t use the app to brush I could go back and check off they did, that part doesn’t allow me to select it to change it. And the toothbrush that we bought no longer connects to the Bluetooth on the iPad. The app just doesn’t recognize it the sonic kids toothbrush. Developers please fix it.

Doesn’t sync across multiple phones
Why doesn’t this app allow parents to sing in and sync across multiple phones/tablets? I think that syncing across devices should be a basic feature of any app. Also, a recent bug is preventing Sparkly from changing color when a color gift is used.
Latest update cannot connect to the toothbrush
The app is nice to have and is a good motivation for kids, with lots of collectibles, however the latest update broke the experience: - it no longer connects to the toothbrush, only 5% of the time. The rest of the time I have to trigger “manual mode” which is out of sync - it no longer lets you skip a tip interstitial before brushing, slowing down getting started - when applying spray paint it now displays a confirm dialog; which my kid naturally presses the red X to discard the change, as other dialogs have trained them to do so

This app is great WHEN IT WORKS. Half the time it gives my kiddo a present and when we log back in it’s gone. Talk about immediate frustration and meltdowns when this is supposed to be a tool to help. What gives?!
Great App, BUT…
This app is great and my daughter is in love with her sparkly character. We’ve seen excitement over brushing her teeth. My frustration is that I cannot log into the parent portal. I have get to where it wants me to log in, but no keyboard pops up. This keeps to my daughter feeling very sad that she couldn’t get credit for a morning brushing she did without the app. I hope this can be resolved.
Won’t unlock after purchase
I purchased the toothbrush in order to unlock everything in the app, but the sparkly adventures still won’t unlock. When I click on it, it just tells me to buy the toothbrush. The toothbrush has already been paired, and I am using it with the app regularly, but I still can’t get sparkly adventures.
Great app if it worked
Ever since the updated the app to sync data -- a really important feature I'm glad that they added-- it's been buggy and slow. We get the same gift dropped over and over, preventing actual brushing. Progress gets lost a lot. My 5-year-old can't see all the background and items she's earned anymore. If she changed her Sparklie's color, out consumes the spray can, but when she got into to l the app again, it reverts get color. Same with clothes and backgrounds. And worst it all, the sync is only quasi-reliable. It often doesn't sync between devices and then loses progress a lot. If the fix the bugs, it's great for motivating kids to brush; if they don't, it can have the opposite effect. Edited to add: Last update broke progress tracking. It no longer matters if she brushes or not.

My 11 year old absolutely love this app.
App no longer works
This app use to be great now it constantly freezes. It never remembers and syncs toothbrush progress. It’s incredibly frustrating.
Freezing
My daughter loves this app, and happily brush her theet since do it for Sparkly. Hopefully a new update will resolve the new problem and prevent freezing Sparkly.
Loses Function
We’ve been using this app for a couple years and the longer we use it the worst it becomes. We’ve lost most of the prizes. We previously won and often cannot get it to connect to other devices. It also maxes out and stops giving you costume and scenery awards. It has just been food and paint for years.

Great concept, problematic interactions
My kids love this app and use it religiously to brush their teeth. Spring 2026 here are some issues we encounter: the backgrounds are being gifted to different kids at a different rate even when using the app the same amount. I’m not sure if it’s based on age or what, but my four year old has two more backgrounds than my six year old. Another thing that’s problematic is once you’ve started you cannot switch devices. Super frustrating when you want to get kids to bed or to school and can’t find your phone just so they can brush their teeth. Great product overall!
Fix the App!
Update: after resetting everything to manage initial issues - now the app won’t connect to the toothbrush Bluetooth. I’ve gone through all trouble shooting steps. I really have to make a call to get Bluetooth to work?! ———- Horrible experience with app. Not syncing between devices. Lost my daughter’s data and rewards (resulting in major meltdowns). Poor user interface - can’t go vertical for parents signing in and troubleshooting. Errors when logging in to account. My kids enjoy it when it’s working.
Great but buggy
Very motivating for my kids to get them to brush their teeth regularly and for a longer time. But please update the app! It freezes constantly and then I have to restart the timer and let it play out so they can still get the present.
Was great at first
App was great at first, my five year-old loved playing it and getting rewards every day and progressing through the different stages of the game in different levels the first few months. But now it’s been four months. He hasn’t gotten any new backgrounds. He’s been stuck on majestic brusher and can’t go on beyond that. And now he’s having an issue where it’s like resetting what his little guy is wearing every night. The app basically is just getting worse. I contacted support they had me uninstall, reinstall, logout login and close it on all my devices do all different stuff. Nothing helped. They told me to provide them the serial number of the toothbrush and all of the information like the operating system of my iPad and everything else. Told me they’d get back to me within 48 hours and it’s been three weeks and they never responded to me at all. May give up and get something else as now it just disappoints him everyday
Bug fixes please
My kids love the app and it’s helped with morning and evening brushing tremendously! However, the last 2 months or so one of the kid profiles has been lagging and if the child uses a spray paint to color the sparkly a new color the change disappears by the next time the app is used. So that sparkly stays brown and it’s really bumming her out. The spray paint is then wasted and not back on the virtual shelf. Please fix this. Will update rating when this issue is resolved!

Only works on one device
The data doesn’t work on multiple phones so if they brush on mom’s phone, they can’t use dad’s phone the next day
Awesome app, but one thing
My streak is normal until it reaches 14. Once I reach 14, it resets back to one and I don't get my mystery gift. (even if I brushed.) My streak goes usually something like this: 1,2,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,1,etc. After it does that for a long time, it goes to a random number in the teens. Also, one time, (not today) my steak was at like 32 then after I brushed it got sent back to 1.(like usual) It's really annoying, and I think you should fix this bug.
Look inside your code please?
There are a bunch of glitches and when I for feeding my sparkly, do you expect me to come back in the day to feed it? … AND ONE MORE THING FOR YOU, PHILIPS. One day I lost my streak because of your cr*py code, it just told me to make a profile WHICH I ALREADY DID! (By the way some of the glitches are: if I tap my sparkly then scratch it, it will still make the noise of the action but not do it. That’s one of the glitches for the record.)

Bluetooth doesn’t work
My kids love this but they’d love it more if the Bluetooth connection worked. I’ve tried ALL the troubleshooting suggestions and still no Bluetooth connection. I have an iPhone 17.
Wonderful-when it works
Let me start by saying that we do love this app and the toothbrushes that go with it. My kids love their little sparkly monsters and it has helped my 5 year old with learning to brush her own teeth. It has also helped us as parents to do a better job when brushing. However, if you need to use the manual timer the “presents” given at completion of brushing are very inconsistent. Sometimes the kids get them and sometimes they don’t. It also did not sync across multiple devices well, for example it would be nice if we could be logged into the same account across different devices so my kid didn’t always need my phone, they could use a grandparent’s or dad’s or their own device. Another thing that has really only started lately is that the app glitches while the kids are brushing using the Bluetooth connection. It freezes but the timer keeps going, and if you close out and open it again the child doesn’t get their “present”. It’s really hard to use an app that is so inconsistent when children are the target audience. How do I use the “presents” as motivation for my two year old to have her teeth brushed when she only gets the reward Some of the time? We have been using this app for almost 2 years and it has been this finicky the whole time. I would hope that by now they would have done some updates to fix these bugs.
First month of Philips sonicare for kids
So for the first month of Philips so care for kids I would rate 5/5 as shown in the stars above this review because honestly it seems to help a lot like by the first three days my teeth were actually really clean like shiny clean in witch i did not expect and there is no built in feature but right after you brush your teeth you can see how often you brush your teeth and it would be helpful if they were to just add a feature that you can see not only just after brushing your teeth and also I’m hearing that one person complained about what happens after you skip to many days and please don’t fall the same fate as duo lingo did and if you have made it this far in to the review thanks and remember that this is just my first month of experience
Poor Functionality
This app is terrible for functionality parent dashboard rarely works can’t accept terms and conditions it just freezes. I have checked for updates and my app is up to date. Don’t want to delete and loose brushing stream. SUPER FRUSTRATING ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS

app stops working, no way to save your sparkly
we LOVED this app while it was working. a few months ago it stopped saving progress. it wouldn’t save any gifts earners by brushing and wouldn’t save any adjustments to our sparklys appearance. we contacted the company who said they were looking into the issue but it’s been a month with no fix and no response other than the IT team is looking into it. My next thought was to delete the app and redownload, but thank god i looked it up prior to doing that because apparently if you delete and redownload it keeps your streak but then you lose every reward you’ve ever received. VERY disappointing, considering the fact that my child loved his sparkly very much.
Glitchy
The idea of the app is amazing. However, we have two profiles. My daughter gets rewards if I have given them credit for brushing without the app. My son is given the same credit and gets no reward. It is disheartening for him. 😞 He sees her getting extras that he doesn’t. I don’t get it. It should run the same for all profiles. I cringe when I have to give them credit to keep their streak knowing he will walk away so sad.
