The app is awesome, and a great way to add to my clinical decision-making and justifications. Just for ease of access, though, I would love to have my favorites list as the default list.
Crashes regularly
Great app if it worked. I can use one calculator and when I go back to the main page I can’t access any others. I have to leave the app every time. Very annoying

Tengo años de usarla y por alguna razón nunca ha funcionado bien la calculadora de edad gestacional. Para fechar por USG previo no siempre lee correctamente las semanas indicadas en el primero USG Obstétrico y ahora ni siquiera despliega el teclado en ese campo. Tengo que usar otra calculadora por este simple detalle. Años sin arreglar ese tema
Could be better
Great resource, but user experience could be improved to reduce unnecessary taps. For example, add support for gestures and/or keyboard button to advance to next/previous field. Also, needs setting to make Favorites the default view rather than always starting with Popular.

I rely on med calc for calculation support when treating patients and making decisions to treat those who can go either way in treatment.

Wish I didn’t update
Always loved this app, had lots of “favorite” pages saved. After new update I had to create an account (annoying but fine, given the free service they provide) but I lost all the favorites I saved! Should have found a way to retain this with the update!
No alphabetical lists?
It’s hard to criticize the GOAT app for medical students, but they should really make it so the drop down menu for state and specialty are in alphabetical order. Otherwise, amazing app!

I’ve been using this calculator for years. It’s great!
UI is trash
The interface continues to be atrocious and I’m not sure why this hasn’t been addressed. The tap targets are small and invisible. There is no button to rapidly move to the next field for entry. If you need to change the contents of a field in which you’ve already entered a value, god help you and you’re probably better off force quitting the app and starting over. Oh and it defaults to imperial measurements.
I love this app!
I wish there were more tools. Maybe they don’t exist and/or maybe they aren’t included but I wish there were more tools to utilize. Nevertheless, this app is great!
Used to be good
Crashes 90% of the time now. Pretty much unusable.
Amazing content, with some crippling bugs
There’s an incapacitating bug sometimes that does not allow you to input a date in formulas such as Pregnancy due dates or others that require a date selector.
An absolute must
This is an absolute must for all clinicians. It adds so much depth to your evaluation and charting.
Good resource, but shouldn’t require registration
MDCalc is overall an incredibly valuable resource, but the reason I’m rating the app 1 star is due to the mandatory registration. As a result I use the website instead, which does not require registration.
Please add landscape mode
Great app. The only problem is that it doesn’t have landscape mode on ipad.
Cannot use after update
I loved this app until it quit working over the weekend during my shift:( I see there was an update which must not be compatible with my iPhone? Help is appreciated.

MDCalc is the best medical calculator available. I use it all the time working in internal medicine in the hospital.
Broken After Update
Basically unusable after they added a mandatory log in. Every time I open it it spins and it takes more time to load the app than it does to access the same page through my browser. I would love this to be fixed as it was a daily app for me previously

Unable to sign up
I am currently in clinicals for my FNP and my preceptor uses this app frequently but I can’t sign up because it requires you input your school and my University isn’t listed. Is there a work around for this? I would love to use this app as it is quite useful in the day to day workings as a FNP and has been so helpful but I can’t use it because of that one requirement.

Very good app, but...
It is a very good app, it has many scores which can help a doctor in daily practice. But I really appreciate the possibility to add some personal note and tags to the scores and folders in which I can store the scores divided for single patology, I hope that the creators will add it in the future

Why do I have to create an account with a password to use your calculator. I already have enough accounts. Who made this decision?
Loved it but new bug
Even after deleti g reordering the App, I am unable to use ut because the keyboard seems to have stuck by default to Bitmoji!
Important tool

App no longer working
I’m not sure if the new update is not compatible with my iOS but the app was working up until a week ago. Now I am unable to access the app at all, it opens and then immediately crashes. I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading but I’m still having the same issue. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this?
Wonderful app
Wonderful app, very comprehensive and frequently updated. I miss the VQI equations for vascular surgery.

I find this app very useful and I tell my students to download it. I teach a simulation lab for year one and year two medical students.
App malfunction
I downloaded the most updated version of the app on my iPhone recently and now it won’t even open. The app just shutting down before it loads. It’s a huge bummer. I used to use this app everyday in internal medicine clinic

Never opens...
I don’t know what is going on... I’ve turned it off and on again, restarted my phone and deleted/reloaded the app and it still doesn’t want to open. Has there been a new update?
Inclusion/exclusion criteria?
Excellent app! Very user friendly! I just wish it had the inclusion and exclusion criteria for things. (Like the Wells score etc)
