表が見切れる
疾患の特徴から、治療の選択、ピットフォールまで、文献色々調べてくれるから、困ったときに使いやすくて、いつも助かってる。 ただ、表が見切れるのが玉に瑕。しばらく置いてたら治るかと思ってたけど、一向に治らない。表示の仕方が悪いのかもしれないけど、重要そうなところで表が見切れて、上下にスクロールしても別の文章が表示される。非常にストレス。
Can’t see what you’re typing
When the keyboard appears, the text you are typing disappears behind it. Such a basic UI problem. Makes you wonder what else is half-baked.

Too much distracting Material presented in a confusing way But the summarization of issues and the insight into causation is outstanding ( this is coming from a physician practicing for 50 years

NA for RNs or NP students
This app wont accept my student transcripts and my RN license isn’t an option, it only will accept a NPI number. I really wanted to use this as a resource.

Keyboard hides text
Worked well until last version. Now the keyboard hides the text input screen. With medical words this gets difficult because predictive words don’t work well with medical words. I can’t see what was typed until after and can’t change curser location.
Very good on Mac, not on iOS
The question entry window is blocked by the keyboard on iOS, making it hard to see the entry. This is further complicated by erroneous spell check corrections. Disappointing. Very good on a MacBook.
Best Professional Assistant Ever
In addition to assisting with clinical management and database references, I use OE to create patient education handouts. The product has been accurate and is a tremendous timesaver.
Phenomenal tool that’s rapidly being diluted
Core LLM model is fantastic. The App though is continuously adding bloat (ie. Games, Dialer, Fax, Inbox), it’s practically Doximity at this point. By all means develop these features, but there’s no reason my research app should have Games and a Dialer — spin this off in a new app. Dialer, Visits, Scribe, Messages, Inbox all make sense in their own app separated from Discover/Articles/News and Ask. UpToDate doesn’t have all this junk lumped in. The App is getting larger and slower, it’s forgetting why it exists. Sad to see the development team is going down this route.
App freezes on the registration screen
I am unable to complete my registration because the app completely freezes on the "Complete Your Registration" screen. I cannot scroll or tap any buttons. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. Please fix this bug.

“Not available in your location” but just for me
Would’ve been 5 stars, but I keep getting hit with a “not available in your location” despite desktop working fine, and others being able to use the mobile app in the same area as me. Unusable until fixed unfortunately.
Lifesaver
This has been extremely helpful throughout my medical and psychiatric journey. I especially appreciate the ability to compare information in an evidence-based manner while having access to literature that is clean, concise, comprehensive, and expansive without losing focus. It allows me to quickly understand complex topics, evaluate different perspectives, and stay informed while still getting to the point. Overall, it has been an invaluable resource for both my clinical practice and continued professional growth.

Tried multiple times to give this a shot but it keeps telling me my NPI is invalid despite being 100% correct. Shouldn't be this hard to sign up.
Excellent but please fix this glitch
Every so often, it will give me a nice detailed response. While I am reading it, it will suddenly wipe the entire response and display an error message claiming that the app is experiencing very high volumes and to try again later. Trying again then or later does not do anything and that particular chat is then permanently disabled.

Keeps crashing
I loved this app the few days that it worked. After I login the app then takes me back to the login screen. I haven’t been able to login. Even after I setup another login. I emailed OpenEvidence support no response.
Effectively Replaced UpToDate
I find the answers on OpenEvidence to be more accurate to specific symptoms, diagnoses and treatments that UpToDate. While I am slightly conflicted about using “AI”, I feel like the benefit of this specific app outweighs the impact (although I recognize that I am not fully educated on the implications yet).

I received “page not secure” warnings as I was as signing up. I opted not to proceed.
Revolutionary
I have not been quick to jump on the bandwagon of AI primarily because I do not use it to write papers or articles or for work But after using this app, a number of times I have been converted! There are so many questions that I have that I want to ask that are hard to put into words. It's hard to find how to phrase the question to get the answer. Often I want to ask why something works when all the evidence says it shouldn't, or whether a product that is used all the time really does what it says it does. Or why Physicians keep using something if it can't be shown to work. Or why when all of our medical knowledge says something should work one way it actually works the other way. Open evidence easily feels those questions and provides multiple answers from different angles completely Answering exactly what I was concerned about in the past searching Google or another search engine was inadequate for the detail I needed or just missed the point of the question it would bring up common explanations or just List, which I already knew. I wanted the complexity of the "why" or better yet why things weren't as they seemed or should be With open evidence I can ask the question in the words that I'm comfortable with and OE "gets it" and provides an incredibly thorough answer, taking in all the subtleties as if it read my mind it's as if I'm talking to a genius professor who has a complete knowledge of all areas of Medicine, surgery, etc. And the ability to understand what the student is asking and explain it in terms he or she understands. Thank you for creating this
