So helpful
Love this app! I use it everyday at work
Update issues
Will not sync automatically when subscription is updated
Off-line database
Version identification of each database is critical to ensure prior connection and updates have occurred. Presently the information appears to be stale. While the internet is convenient, access is not always available.
New interface
Not as quick or easy to get around
Gets worse every year
Though indispensable to my practice, I have no idea how each change; each update can somehow make it harder to use, less intuitive, and bury pertinent information under even more tabs. It’s good, but it used to be great and I expect it to be mediocre within the next few years
NP, Psychiatry
Up to date, accurate , ease of use.
1 star because I’m asked to write a review every time I enter the app.
1 star because I’m asked to write a review every time I enter the app.
Great reference but really sluggish
My favorite app for pediatric and neonatal dosing, but SO frustrating with how sluggish it has become. Can easily take 7-10 seconds to respond to screen taps. Please fix this!
No more iv compatibility or drug ID??
Recently renewed my subscription and suddenly can’t use IV compatibility or drug ID anymore, which is fun since they’re my most used functions in the ED
Good, but…
I like LexiDrug, but it needs to bring back notes that I can add to meds.
Great app
Great app
App doesn’t sync
You pay for the subscription and the app doesn’t sync. Very expensive subscription for something that has such poor user design.
Keyboard issues
Keyboard and home page options still not working. Only able to open the right side menu and search still does not function properly.
Used to be better
The quality of the app has gone downhill unfortunately. It takes much longer to open now, gets laggy, and overall is of general lower quality.
Failed to connect to database
Failed to connect to database even with stable connection
Must have app for every healthcare professional!
It’s my fave app! Very easy to find drug interactions in order to provide care to patients chair side! App could use improvement on UI! They just need to disassociate themselves from Salesforce which is not working in their favor at all! WTKWY, please take my suggestions seriously!
Stop asking me to review app
Please stop having me review this app every time I open it. Please stop!!
Quick search
Have always liked lexidrug. I am a little disappointed that I have to scroll to get to specific sections within the drug itself.
Not user friendly
The information is not easy to navigate through. Too much text, and feels overwhelming when trying to quickly find dosing etc. recommend giving this a month trial before committing to a year subscription. I like up to date so thought this was a no brainer.
Something changed
This is the best and still my go-to drug reference, the info is crucial to my daily work and the app is the most efficient way to access it (vs monographs on UpToDate). But in the last year or so the app functionality has deteriorated. It used to be super-responsive and quick to navigate through. Now it has a laggy response rate and incorporates autocorrect (did not used to) when typing drug names that sometimes becomes bothersome because how many generic drug names does autocorrect recognize? I would not want to be without this app and the info it provided but it’s become a far less impressive experience to use. Message to the developer: whatever you changed in how this app functions it is not an improvement.

New platform
Difficult accessing haven’t been able to get on my PC as of yet
Loading the medications
Hello the application is great but when pressing on the medication from the list the page takes tooo long to load, it wasn’t like this before please consider fixing it Thank you
Technical Problems
Lexi is great for the information that it provides regarding drug information, but getting to the medication itself takes extra, unnecessary steps. Autocorrect shouldn’t be a feature within Lexi, there is absolutely no need for the medication name to be changed to some random unrelated word. For the mobile app-When clicking on the medication name, one has to wait two minutes or more before it will load, click again on the medication, and it will load again as many times as you have clicked on it, making it virtually impossible to use. In a hospital Level 1 trauma center we don’t have that kind of time for the medication not to load. Solution to autocorrect: remove autocorrect, solution to not loading med in timely manner: reformat medication search like previous versions. tting to the medication itself takes extra, unnecessary steps.
Slow
Seems like it’s a lot slower than I remember .. for the price I expect to be able to use it when I need it
Update Functionality
Superfluous number of clicks needed to get to high yield search bar. I only use certain libraries, give me a fast track!
Crashing every time
It’s crashing/closing every time I use it now
Needs update
Please support the iPhone X, thanks.
update
I use this frequently for pharmacy school, but the recent update made it unusable. It freezes any time I click on the search bar. If they fix this, it’s a 5 star app.
Useful with expensive
It really $29.99 per month? 💔

Can’t click anything
It used to be an amazing app that was very easy to access for quick references or on rotations. Ever since the update I can’t click on anything or even search up any drug. The app has become useless to me on my phone and I can only use it on my laptop. I hope that there is a solution before my next rotations because I know it was extremely helpful during my first rotations. Wonderful app before, but this newest update has been detrimental to me personally.
Please fix
I found some bug on mode check drug interaction , It's dysfunction please fix it. Thank you.
Bad update
Most recent update froze the entire app. Can’t type in the search bar or tap any of the icons or menu. It’s bricked
Not bad
App requires constant in app updates. Update fails if you switch out of the app and does not run in the background. Subscription was free through my work so I can’t complain about that but I don’t think I’d buy it personally. IV Ringers is very limited in its studies for compatibility.
Cool
Cool
Software is terrible
I’ve been an institutional pharmacist for 15 years: I haven’t been able to log in for about 8 years. This began happening at a time when I felt like I really didn’t need the help anymore. I periodically try to update my institutional account and log in and there is always a problem with the software. This time, password retrieval isn’t working so I can’t even log in to attempt to add my subscription code. I just use other references because this performs so poorly.
Great info - frustrating app
I realize how much I depend on this app because it frequently crashes to the point where it won't load and I need I do a fresh install - which means loading my libraries again. Slower update speeds too. Flip side, when it works, is an invaluable resource and highly recommend.
Not what it used to be
Quality has gone down hill. You used to be able to quickly open the app and find the answer but now it requires more of an internet connection. Now you might have to wait for updates to download (used to you could still use). Of course it has offline databases but if you have poor signal it won’t switch to offline databases it will struggle to search online and take forever. Such a poor execution of a professional database. This app used to be my #1 recommendation but now it makes no sense to have this plus the regular UpToDate app.
Multitask feature?
Great product and easy to use. Makes patient care safer. Would it be possible to have the multitask feature in a newer update? Then, I would be able to use this app while looking at two different screens, such as Safari, and it make it an even more ideal app to use while rounding.
Latest update has made app unusable!
UPDATE: after deleting the app and reloading it, and redownloading all of the databases, it now seems to be working. I was going to delete the review, but maybe it will be helpful to other users as well as to the developers. Will bump the rating back for 1 star to 5 stars. ===================================> ORIGINAL REVIEW: I finally updated the app today and it is now frozen, I can’t click or type anything in it (and yes, I have tried closing and reopening as well as rebooting my phone; will try deleting snd reloading next). I see some other recent reviews with the same complaint, and the developer’s canned autobot-type responses that suggest trying offline mode (even though connectivity isn't the issue). Even if connectivity was an issue, the app is FROZEN, so we are unable to click on anything, which means we can’t even attempt to put it in an offline mode. Also, I keep the whole database downloaded on my phone, so I have always been able to work without a connection (let’s see if this review gets the same canned response as others to try offline mode; hopefully not). Before the last update, this app has always been great, so, hopefully someone within the developers team will see this and have a fix coming shortly (or at the very least, put out an update that reverts back to the prior version), because I have relied on this app for years, but as of today, it is currently unusable for me.
Password Not Synced
As a clinician and corporate account holder, I found the Lexidrug app on my phone is extremely difficult to use, specifically because the application password is not synced with their website. Additionally, each time we renew the sub, it would prompt the users to re-download the app. Very disappointing.
Good but app has some issues
I have been using lexi-comp for 3 years. It used to work fine until 8 months ago and the program would crash. With the new update, it works faster but will attempt to use the internet when starting up. If you have a poor wifi signal or no bars (which is my case in the hospital), you are forced to put it into airplane mode to start up the app, which is frustrating. Otherwise the content is constantly updated and easy to navigate. Lexi-Drugs is identical to the published copy and the interact tool is a must have for pharmacists.
App WAS excellent !
Have used this app for over 5 years. Was easy to use good value for cost, updated daily and offered wide range of information besides drugs info. Now , cost for 1 year what I was paying for 3 years. Have limited library options and is more cumbersome to navigate. I suspect this App will be DC’d to force people to move to Up to Date their flagship and very good but expensive unless you obtain under University etc umbrella subscription. Too bad they had a very good product that served Health Professionals very well.
Interaction tab not working
Having trouble with the interaction tab. Everything i click + to add a drug the app shuts down automatically
Best app
Thank you
Recent Changes Ruined it
Lexicomp tried to make it “easier” to use but actually did the opposite. I frequently work in pharmacies with limited cell service and now my app is frequently unavailable or too slow to use.
Than you
Very useful application, use it on daily basis. Thank you
Interaction tab not working!
App crashes every time I tried to add a drug. Please fix asap!!
Never ending updates
Valuable information but takes forever to download the updates since it stops when you exit the app !?! Then, if it takes too long before you find the time to download it, some functions you might have paid for stop working (like medcalc and IV compatibilities, for example).
