FOLLOW OVER AND OVER
I’ve been following the Kevin Kitzman has issues since it began, and without fail, I am constantly having to re-follow it like this app forgets that I’m even following it. It’s ridiculous. Also, more than half the time this app does not interact well with Apple CarPlay.

It’s a trap!
I signed up for the free trial. Afterward, I attempted to cancel the subscription because I knew I wouldn’t use it much to justify paying for it. I have requested to cancel multiple times now, and still no response from their customer service. It’s 4 months later and they’re still charging my credit card and ignoring my cancel requests. I will have to take other actions. It sucks, because while the platform is awesome, their customer service is horrible and totally non-existent.
Great app to use
Simple and easy to use. A great app for on the go listening. No profiles or sign ups to use. Completely free to download and use. I would recommend it.

No amount of searching on your app shows this podcast. But I know it is there because I pay you to host it. The only way to access it is through a direct specific link. We will never have a listener who comes to your app and then tries to find the podcast.
Sounds issues
I’ve been using Podbean for some years now and really enjoyed using it. Since my phone upgraded to iOS 26 the sound keeps fading in and out and sometimes sounds like the podcast has been recorded at the bottom of a well.
Best podcast app of all
Podbean works better than other apps-giving auto play and sort options. I’m spoiled so don’t like the ones that are not as user friendly or smart.
Broken search bar and missing downloads
Recently updated the app due to the search box not working. The search box still doesn’t work and now shows I’ve followed no longer download or the show just disappeared along with downloaded episodes.

It takes up very little storage on my phone, only about 200 megabytes All other podcast apps take up much more, Apple podcasts over 1 gig

Podbean
For weeks my podcasts on Views From Down-under have been terribly distorted. I was thinking that it was the podcast itself. Then others were affected. So after off loading the app, turning phone off, powering up, reinstalling no better. Then log out, uninstall app, power off, power up (no it’s not toy lawnmower speaking 🤣), reinstall app, log back in and it now seems to be behaving - seriously!!
Rich repository of human knowledge.

Terrible Customer Service
They won’t fix my podcast after several repeated attempts at reaching out to their team for technical support. My episode isn’t playing due to a systems error on their end. With the cost per month to have this platform for my show, I expect better service. Not recommended!
Missing Feature
Excellent Podcast provider, cheap to Subscribe to on an Annual Subscription but works perfectly well (if you don’t mind the ADs interruptions). The only thing missing from giving this a 5 Star rating is the lack of ability to Sort created Playlists in Alphabetical Order…
Buggy for years
On android and ios this app randomly just stops and deletes the podcast you are listening to and marks it as played. You have to redownload and find the place again every time
Unable up open Podcast shared via WhatsApp
I am unable to open podcast via links shared in whatsApp. Earlier i was able to. Now it just loops between the appstore and browser.
Great platform
Podbean is so easy to navigate. Finding what I’m looking for is easy. It lowers my headache level 😂
Too many restrictions
This app has gotten worse over time. Hard to add podcasts and edit podcast follows on the website and can’t add new podcasts on the site. It insist that I do everything on my phone which is annoying and inefficient when I have the site opened in a tab in my browser on my mac.
Confide in Me & Podbean
I must say I am impressed with Podbean. I used it to host my very first podcast channel - Noel Anderson’s 15 Mins of Fame. And so far so brilliant! 5 stars from me. Oh, drop in on my channel and have a listen to my very first podcast ‘Confide in Me’ ... & Podbean 😀
Paid Subscription
I’ve been using paid subscription for 2 months now and I am not happy with the AI that is used to polish your episodes after you’re done recording. I had 40mins this morning and it processed after I finished recording only for it to fail “error occurred” and after that I was left with 21 mins. After I repeated the process again, it managed to edit but I had 2 edited same episode but I only needed 1 and wasted the limited time you guys give. It’s not fair. So please work on your AI or just give us unlimited minutes because your AI keeps wasting the little you provide.

A great one in general with good access to most podcasts I like and works very well on everything, but there is also one specific thing it is a bit good at: I often pause the episodes between work and other things in life, and when I then want to continue listening, it often skips to the next pod. Even when I have only just started the episode. Doesn't happen every time, but often enough that I get quite annoyed. Please fix this problem!

Illegal account
I did not create this and am being charged $107 for something I was not a part of. I did not even know what Podbean was until I got my credit card statement that showed a charge. This is a fraudulent account and Podbean is not taking it very seriously. Identity theft is a BIG deal!!!
Podbean app is great
I use Podbean when I can’t sleep. It plays even when the iPad goes to sleep. Only unfortunate thing is it plays back issues rather than going forward. And it stops once the list is finished even tho there are another 200 episodes you could listen too.
Rip off
Annual subscription has effectively doubled to just under £20 a year. What features have been added to justify this hike in cost? Absolutely none! It goes without saying that I am not willing to be treated like a mug so have cancelled my subscription. I’ll be looking for a new podcast app. Nice work podbean developers, hope you get the change in subscribers that you deserve…

Horrible Customer Service
Once you upgrade your service you aren’t allowed to downgrade to a cheaper plan. You have to completely delete your account and all content and start over. Sometimes when my cohost and I record, we can’t hear the other person in the playback as well. It’s been discouraging and we are looking to leave Podbean and use a different service. I’ve paid for an upgrade twice, one is $40 a month and I still don’t have enough credits to do AI editing each time.

Keeps closing on its own
For sometime now, anytime I want to upload a stream, the app just closes for no reason And when I try re uploading they say the file is missing

Great show
This app has really gone downhill in the last few years
I have been using this app for years, and it has really gone downhill lately. Now it has ads in the user interface even if you pay the annual subscription fee. It doesn’t handle basic functionality well, such as letting you manage when episodes get downloaded. It’s a pain when you discover new podcasts that already have a lot of old episodes. There are features that simply don’t work. I think I will have to find a new alternative and set up all my subscriptions from scratch, because this app just isn’t worth it anymore.

Beyond expectations!!! I love it
Buggy
So many times one can download a podcast, listen to part of it, then come back to it later; and within a couple of seconds of restarting it, it stops, marks it as “played” and moves on to the next item in the playlist. Very annoying if it’s set to remove downloads once played as one cannot then go back if one has no access to the internet at that time. This happens very frequently.
Frustrating
Podbean works as it should if you are able to listen to a podcast in a day. However if you pause and return a day or two later the podcast will not start where you left off. The indicator bar shows correctly the elapsed and remaining times but the buffering indicator just keeps spinning and the podcast doesn’t play.

Discontinued Livestreaming after we paid for that specifically. Not great service or customer care.

The app is great apart from the app can never seem to stream over mobile data. I have to download episodes via WIFI to listen to them on the go
Almost impossible to play a podcast thats paused
When I pause a podcast, and want to continue to play it, it hardly ever wants to start... It's been happening for months. Other that that I love the app! Especially the feature that turns it off after a given amount of time.
