Seems to work fine
Can have issues off WiFi networks but on WiFi works well. Able to continue studying topics while traveling.
Videos never load
I don’t know what happened but I can’t get videos to load at all over this last month or so. Everything used to work fine and now nothing works. I’ve tried uninstall/reinstall the app, signing out and back in, tried downloading videos, nothing will play. Only thing that works for me now is the quizzes at the end of the units.

Doesn’t function for mobile
Why not get your employees to watch a couple of videos on mobile app development? This app doesn’t function well at all.

Not working properly with car play, downloads stuck at half way. Not able to skip backwards using car controls. There is no point in having this app if it’s not making my commute productive. Hope you guys can provide a better car audio experience at the earliest. Thank you very much
Usually a great app but REALLY buggy right now
Regardless of what I do the app won’t allow me to actually use my account. It keeps logging me out and not allowing me to go to the actual app interface (as opposed to the web interface) when I log in. It won’t allow me to enrol in any courses either. Please fix whatever is going on.

App will not allow login with known good credentials. The same credentials login correctly via the web interface
This version doesn’t work
After upgrading to this version, the video screen and audio do not work. The video time seems to continue. Please fix it quickly.

It’s a struggle
I have tried to use this app for a course, but anytime it concludes one video it infinitely loads the next video. Even if it’s downloaded, even if I force quit and restart, even if I turn off my phone and turn it back on again. I have to wait an arbitrary amount of days for it to then play the next video. This is very unfortunate seeing the course has over 300 videos.

Why is it that I always have to sign in every single time I use the app, the same issue with the web app.
Player keeps running in to errors
The app player keeps running in to errors. The same works well on web but app player keeps asking to try again. Fed up trying everything, reinstalling, reauthenticating , changing courses but in vain. The error occurs intermittently stopping the momentum of learning.
Stopped using app moved to browser that works.
I am not sure if it’s intentional or a bug on iPhone 14. full screen on app does not rotate if phone is kept horizontal. Also app logs me out quickly have to login again and again.

Awful developers
This company has the worst IT developers in the entire industry. Logging in as a challenge, and even if you’re successful, it logs you out after one day. Never in my entire life seen a product that bad dedication contents are good, but how does that help if you cannot even login. I really hope they pay good developers to be able to fix this platform before people vote with their feet.
GOOD BUT WONT ALLOW AIR SCREEN CAST
Now I am mirroring my phone to the tv. Every app works. Even Udemy, BUT if I start a video… NOTHING. Screen becomes black.

Featured tab is blank in iPad os, have tried uninstalling and installing back. Edit: Now it has been resolved after month. So updated the rating to 3 star. Will use the app & update again.
Sharpen your saw
I enrolled for many courses, some I completed , and many stopped . Every course teach me something and get benefits even I don’t completed. I recommend Udemy for business for each company/college looking to reward their employees/student.
Laggy and Buggy Mess
I love Udemy for the most part. I’ve taken dozens of courses via the website, and, for once, I decided to give the mobile app a try. My primary reasoning was or offline downloads. However, regardless of WiFi or Ethernet connection downloads always fail. In addition the quality of video never seems to follow my preset, even with an excellent connection.
Login issue
After completing ultimatix login, it is not redirecting to the main application page. It stays in blank white screen
Problematic for offline courses
The courses are pretty good, and their function within the app is fine. However, there are serious issues if you don’t have an ever present internet connection. I downloaded courses to be able to use Udemy while flying. The app requires constant logins through a janky interface that kicks you back and forth between authentication, login pages, and so on. So just getting logged in is problematic. Then, once you’ve made it, if you login right before losing your internet connection, it may last and you can resume your course - for a while. But wait too long or use too many other apps, and you’ll find that Udemy has randomly decided it’s time for you to reauthenticate. Middle of a video? Sorry, you’ll now be waiting till you can reconnect. I contacted support about the issue and was told this was by design. That’s nuts, and it defeats the point of downloading a course for offline use. If it was an occasional login, sure, maybe I could buy off on it. But it’s frequent and makes it such a hassle to use Udemy that I’ve started to look at other options, like LinkedIn Learning. Unfortunately, until the login issues are fixed, this one gets a low rating from me.
Needs an Apple TV app
It’s a good app. User experience could be a little better but it isn’t that bad. I do think that not having a companion Apple TV app is a lost opportunity. Specially being a business centric app where some trainings are done in batches having an app on Apple TV would increase value considerably.

Brilliant array of resources to choose from, I definitely recommend the app to use on the go.
Bad
Just see all of the other review and lack of general help. No support whatsoever, watch they will reply to this saying to reach out to support. They do not answer. This “app” is best used with a desktop computer. Like all other have said it is impossible to log into this app and the mobile web browser just wants to constantly redirect you to the app. Sign ins are never saved so if you are using this from your library account make sure to have your card on your at all times so you can log in. Outside of that the dev and support team is completely useless and or nonexistent. Use at your own inconvenience.

Even when I’m in the middle of using the app, I will be asked to sign in again.
Can’t login on the mobile app
My employer uses federation login, when transferred to that page iOS says it can’t login because the phone is not connected to the internet, which is incorrect.

Videos Play great, doesn’t track completion or hours
I just watched 1/3 of a Javacript course on the compute which was tracked great. I switched over to watching on iPad to finish the last 4 hours of the course. Although I completed the course, none of the “progress” was tracked. Really disappointing.

Stop asking me to turn on notifications. Store my preference and respect it.

Stop making me log in several times a day
I’m so tired of apps like this that require you to log in everything e you open the app or after a short period of inactivity. At least add Touch ID/Face ID to smooth out this process. The quality of the content is hit or miss. Quality is not as consistent as other platforms.
Make 1.75 playback speed available
I used to 1.75 speed on desktop. I can’t run video on app on 1.75 speed. Everything else is perfect
Latest update
The latest update ruined the app. Videos in a learning series are skipped over. The video audio is muted and the app has to be restarted over and over. The player in player function disappears after every video in a series. Unusable as an app for any sort of productivity.
Air play issue
Unlike udemy ,udemy for business ha e some issue related with airplay.I tried connecting and play video using airplay but as soon as my mobile get locked ,airplay pause the video.so i have to keep unlocking phone again and again.Same issue never occur in udemy aap but always happens in udemy for business.
Needs work
It’s disappointing that the app has to stay open when trying to play a video casted to AppleTV. And I agree with others about the offline download feature being finicky. Just in general, the app feels half baked! (It’s actually funny that I’m taking courses in app development from an app that sucks so much lol.)

I login to the app, switch to a different app come back and I’m required to login again. I update the app and now I can’t login

Good content, but technical issues with Airplay
I'm experiencing serious issues attempting to Airplay content from my phone to the TV. Given how small the iPhone screen is, that makes the app almost unusable for my learning. As stated in the review title, the Udemy content is great and not what I have an issue with. Skip the app and just use Udemy on your laptop or tablet.

This app does no work! Anytime that I try to watch a class, the app crashes, and after a while the application stop completely to work, and I am unable to search for courses.

Not everything can be done on mobile (e.g. some tests) and there is an issue of low memory going on for quite some versions that restarts the app.
LOVE Udemy. Don’t Like The App
First and foremost, I swear by Udemy courses and I’m appreciative that I’m able to obtain free courses through my city library. With that being said, this app is SEVERELY lacking. Below are the issues I experience on a daily basis: 1. I’m CONSTANTLY having to login multiple times throughout the day. Having to manually search for my library, enter my ID, then login to my actual Udemy account. This works one the first time about 70% of the time. 2. I’m unable to rotate my phone sideways and view videos in landscape mode on my iPhone. Makes it hard to see when I want to be hands free while working out. 3. On my iPad, I can view in landscape mode but there’s no AirPlay option lol. I would love to have some resemblance of uniformity/consistency across my Apple devices!!
