ever sense i got this app my child kept getting into hobbies! like they bring a rope into there room! the creeking on the celling is a little annoying tho....

Good but could improve
Good app, and probably the only one that works well. But many times the schedule does not work and when you see the phone is open. They need to improve it, it’s been years with same issue.
Poor install process
The app requires you to connect the child’s phone to a computer. No problem with that. But afterwards several apps were deleted (not inaccessible, deleted), wallpapers changed, etc. That either should not happen, or should be made explicit in the instructions. It was not clear how to use the child’s app after that (requires pushing a start/stop button even to access allowed apps and sites). It was much too intrusive.
Warning!
It’s a very basic unsophisticated app. But after you download the profile it deletes your child’s wallpaper and rearranges all the apps. Mine spent a lot of time in those things and was devastated to have to redo everything.
Great for monitoring
We have ages from 12 to 5 and we have used this for over 5 years and it’s definitely been a good at catching issues. And teaching responsibility. We pay for the premium and it’s definitely the way to go.

Long time user
We have used this app for all my children since 2015. My youngest is still monitored by it. I will say sometimes the controls are glitchy when I’m try to allow something, but it’s far and away superior to iOS parental (non) controls. iOS doesn’t actually want your child protected, so they never update your choices when they update their system. Be aware of that. OurPact has been consistent and trustworthy, even if it’s kinda hard to let things through sometimes. -Loyal longtime customer.
Glitches Cost Us Hundreds
OurPact’s basic screen‑time management works fine, but the app has some serious reliability issues. Several of my child’s app settings repeatedly revert to “Always Allow,” and the “Disable In‑App Purchases” feature randomly turns itself off. After 10 months of using this app, these glitches have cost our family nearly $500 in in‑app purchases I believed were blocked. I reached out to the developer multiple times, but instead of troubleshooting, they insisted my child “must” have my password or access to my devices and was overriding the settings. That simply isn’t the case, and it was frustrating to have the blame shifted back onto us rather than the app’s functionality being addressed. At this point, I can’t recommend OurPact. Don’t waste your time or money. We’re switching to Bark, hoping for a more reliable and accountable solution.
Good potential
Good potential and tighter control than Apple’s useless Family features. However some basic things aren’t working. Ie apps that should be allowed during my son’s school schedule are not - which means I need to allow all apps which completely defeats the purpose of
I Love This App
I would say I love the functionality of this parental control app, very easy to use and navigate. The exposure it gave me actually. I came across this expert called Ryan by contacting through email on mliteapphacker @ g mail com; I was helped with gaining access into my husband's device and looking up all activities initiated, like texts, emails and all social media contents couple with my partner's location as well without touch his phone and also having access to phone calls anonymously. This really helped and opened my eyes and once again, the exposure I got marveled me. Thank you
Do NOT waste your money!
This app did not work right from day 1. It was the biggest waste of money. To get it on your kids phone and yours is ridiculous. You finally install it and it doesn’t work! One year later, it still has my son’s phone locked up and I cannot get it off. Worst puchase of my life.
A necessity
We’ve been using our pact since 2021 when our oldest got a phone, and now use it for all three of our kids phones. I won’t tell someone how to parent, but will definitely recommend not allowing your child under 16 to have access to the internet. It’s an endless supply of information that can be traumatizing to a child. Social media is the worst thing for a kid. This app allows you to block all of that. Personally don’t like the premium +, as we tried it for two months. We put in specific words that were supposed to be flagged, but never were. The screen shots are useless as you child has to open the app when requested. So don’t bother with the extra subscription. You can utilize the $6.99 by blocking apps, setting schedules and check locations(if you don’t share location with your kids). We love the schedule feature, it’s beneficial for discipline and responsibility. I recommend this app highly and think everyone that has a kid with a phone should use this. We dropped one star because of the premium + subscription, wish it worked as described.
Poor control
Too many back avenues to send text messages and to go around parental controls on iOS

There is a lot I like about this app except for … there isn’t a contact number when having a problem such as double billing, and no response when the support team has been contacted via email.
I’ve used it for Years
Anyone with a child who has their own cell phone needs this app. It works exceptionally well on iPhone. Occasionally there are bugs with screen mirroring but other than that it’s quick and responsive to changes. From your phone to theirs you can make adjustments which show up on their phones within 10 seconds. This app and others like it are so important in these times we are in. Don’t want them on socials? Block it. Don’t want them on their phone all night long? Set schedules for bedtimes, homework, and remove time as punishment. It’s all that easy and you don’t have to fight them for the phone just turn it off.
Waste of time
This is there the most useless app I have ever downloaded, worked for a month, I liked it and upgraded, took my money but doesn’t work anymore as soon as I upgraded to premium, waste of money and time. The schedule and blocking doesn’t work my teenager’s phone is always unblocked even with the schedule activated. Again very useless app, don’t waste your time.
Really good app
We have tried just about every parental control app, this one is by far the easiest and best. We did have some issues with it but they seem to be ok now.
Stopped working
I’ve been using OurPact for 2+ years now. It stopped working one random day after autorenew didn’t autorenew. I tried renewing and couldn’t. The tried contacting customer service… there is no phone number. The app is decent but frustrated with just trying to pay and use it.
Getting to be a headache
From tablets not updating ng with changes to unable to connect to new tablets, it has become harder and harder to use. I’ve purchased til next June but will probably unsubscribe. Its becoming too buggy.
Disappointed
This app does exactly what the developers stated it will do and I am very pleased with the performance. Nice work guys.
Dear, Parents…
This app isn’t allowing my child to call when an emergency has occurred. This app has various glitches too that prevent my child from playing games and watching videos. I do not like this app and I do not recommend it for anyone. I would like for this app to get deleted and sued.
Option to use in landscape mode on iPad
It would be good if the app can be used in a landscape mode on an iPad.
Only works 50% of the time
The app only works half the time. If I try to grant access during a blocked time frame, it just gives you a rainbow wheel and nothing happened. Eventually it just resets but no changes are made. Same thing happens if you try to modify a schedule….it says it works but then after about 10 minutes the app will show the old schedule.
Dosent stay block
Was a good app but lately the block doesn’t stay on the schedules go off at the wrong time please fix soon
The best Parental guidance app
Have tried a few, but this is the best there is out there. Keeps the little ones safe and they can earn more screen time as needed. Your search for THE parental app is over. If parental guidance apps are started early enough, there will be better acceptance by junior! Support are excellent.
App is pretty terrible.
App doesn’t work easily. WAYYY too many bugs. Way too complicated. Glitches everywhere. My son deleted the app on his end. Nothing works easily or clearly. Complete waste of money unless you’re willing to invest a huge amount of time monitoring and figuring out this app. I need to find another parental control blocker for my son’s iPad.
Everything freezes after new updated
Hi, after yesterday’s updates , i am not able to lock or unlock my son’s apps. Please do something soon!! Everything like cannot click..😕
Pain to pair
Once you compare, it’s good. But trying to pair it is a major pain. You have to use your computer. Instead of your phone to complete the set up. If you don’t have iTunes on your computer then… You cannot complete it. It should not be this difficult.
Good app but several big flaws
Very powerful app that works well. However it has one big flaw - there is no separate PIN code to open the app. If your kids know your PIN code to unlock your phone they can easily go into the parent app and change the settings. The developer needs to introduce a feature allowing a separate PIN code to unlock the app. I know you could log out of the app every time you use the app but it is a pain to have to remember and enter the full user name and password every time you want to open the app to grant time, change a setting etc. The app also doesn’t work well for use during school hours. For example if your kid has a laptop for use at school and a phone you can’t have different settings for each device. If you want to block the phone during school hours you block the laptop as well. Annoying. You have to set up completely separate profiles for different devices if you want different settings for devices used by same kid. Becomes hard to manage.
Brilliant App
We’ve used this app for years with our 4 children. They know the cut off times so it’s not abrupt. It’s more of a timetabled event and gives a clear message that you can’t spend all day gazing at a screen!
Frustrated
Been a user for a long time, my teen has access to removing management therefore they are able to see all apps for usage. Outpact didn’t inform me until I inquired why my teen gets access to all apps. Can’t give me ETA I’m done bye Ourpact!
Keeps getting logged out
I’m a premium user but however for the past week, I’m consistently logged out of the app and when I log in, I’m logged out again. There is a major tech glitch.
Good app
Good app, nice and easy!! Only thing I don’t like is that the kid has to go to the app to start there allowance!! It should start after the schedule ends for the older kids that are not 4 yo!!
Good but got bugs
This app has been very useful for me and my family and has helped us achieve our goals to manage screentime effectively across devices. However I do like to have autonomy over the apps on my phone and currently the our pact jr. app crashes everytime you go into the screen required to rearrange your apps. You also can’t delete apps from you phone (or I haven’t worked out how to yet) which is annoying. If these were fixed it’d be 5 stars.
Possible improvements
We love the app, it gives us 100% control during the scheduled time. A possible improvement would be a fourth setting that locks selected app outside of schedule time and leaves it unlocked during scheduled time. Currently if app not locked, then this app can be used outside of the scheduled time. Currently, if phones are not physically removed from child, they can spend all night on (let’s say) WhatsApp if that app is not time bound. Hope this make sense
Horrible App Organjzer
Works fine only problem is every time the phone gets locked the apps get reorganized which makes it really frustrating. I understand there is an app organizer available however you cannot organize any shortcuts or widgets which is really annoying. Please update this problem, otherwise the app would be lovely

App Rules blocks the app straight away rather than the scheduled time.
The app is ok. Reason being is that when I have selected certain apps to be blocked in App rules it blocks the app straight away rather than the time frame I selected them to be blocked. When that scheduled is finished the apps are still blocked which means I have to manually always unblock it. So it really doesn’t make sense to create a schedule with the selected blocked apps when it won’t block and unblock the apps when I need them to. When I do not select any Apps to blocked at a certain schedule it won’t show when I do create schedules soooooo I don’t know…
Didn’t work for us
I use this app to block adult content but my son managed to find a way around this by searching through Pinterest.
Superb way to prank
Guessed the password. Installed on parents phone. Ended up getting kicked out the house but it was hilarious. Only problem now is my amazon box is broken and ill need to sneak back home to get another cos they have given my room to my sister
Problems removing app.
I am a parent that used OurPact for several years. Customer service has been absolutely awful when trying to remove the app and supervision from the phone. We’ve emailed numerous times asking for help with a technical issue while trying to remove the supervision profile and keep getting the same AI generated response. This is insanely frustrating.

Painful to use
Idea is great but not easy to use. I could never seem to get this to work correctly. Would go get groceries and set my child's device time, but I'd come home and it was still working! Several times. And the restriction control (remote management control) is a concern. As well, most apps on the device would disappear. It's taken me months of frustration and pulling hair out in despair to work out this was causing it. This was not what was wanted, nor did it advise the parent in plain language what was happening. I am so turned off using it because it's convoluted to use, and have disabled it.
Brilliant
We’ve had this app for several years and it’s only been getting better and better with its updates. I like that it’s continually improving... it’s easy to use and much better than the limits that come with your device - giving more selective control over specific apps. The new installation process is so easy and simple - it’s a huge improvement and keeps you informed of what’s happening and what will haven next every step of the way. It would be really good to have a tor’s nearly up warning on the children’s devices to help them prepare for the screen turning off as it can be very abrupt otherwise. But I tell my kids to put a timer on so they can have a 5min warning and not start a new game. Thanks Ourpact! 🥰
App Completely Nonfunctional
I reached out to support about tamperproofing, the feature that prevents this app from just being uninstalled by anyone, being non functional. It has been two months and they are still “working on it”. This renders the app completely useless. I’m not sure what the developers are doing over there but it’s bewildering that a bug that makes the app completely useless has not been fixed in over two months.
Our Pack hack
I introduced this app to a friend and the feed back was that his 10-yo son hacked the app by changing the time. Perhaps the next update can block the Date & Time setting then the app is active?
Loses connection
Software keeps dropping out and losing connection to my sons phone. Shame, as I liked the App but annoying when I have to keep uploading the device management every couple of days. Have cancelled subscription now.
Premium flaw
I purchased premium and within 24hr my son had googled how to remove it. All he had to do was go into the settings and remove it as it’s his passcode from his phone that removes it. It needs to be changed that a parent adds a passcode. Other then that it’s awesome.
