Finally found a balance
I didn’t want to lock everything down, just set some reasonable boundaries. This app helped me do exactly that. It works across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, which was a big concern for me. Feels like a good middle ground.
Very glitchy app
The app would lock up several times would have to continuously update it to get it to work again. Put it on a second phone and that phone could not get online with cellular data or with the Internet had to delete the out completely before the phone would get online again this out may work for some people, but it did not for me. I would recommend looking for a different app.

Eu não sei o que acontece mas muitas vezes não consigo ouvir o som de onde meu filho está, acho que ele conecta no Wi-Fi do lugar e isso bloqueia a função. Ou deve ser quando está em segundo plano.

Not complicated, easy to use
I’ve tried other parental apps that felt too technical, lots of report and data and alerts and super expensive. This one is more straightforward. I mostly stick to the daily report and learn everything I need to know. Easy to digest.
Can’t install on iPad
Every time I try, I get stuck in an update loop. I can’t control the iPad the way I can a MacBook. I follow the instructions to get nowhere. Guess it doesn’t support iPads.

Stops reporting after a while.
Stops reporting after a while and just becomes an app to control what apps the children can and cannot use. Yes that’s useful but for $74/year, my live location tracking stopped, text aren’t syncing and is written in Portuguese and doesn’t actually filter dangerous words and it’s very misleading. screen time isn’t reporting, website visited details no longer sync… I have to keep updating the phone and the updates aren’t syncing… it’s a waste of money.
Was good..
It was so great before the new update. Why would you ruin a good thing? Now it’s so glitchy and hardly works. I have had a subscription for almost 3 years and loved it, I’m considering cancelling with how bad the new update is.
Practical and easy to use
I’m not super tech-savvy, so I needed something simple but effective. This app was easy to set up and does exactly what I need—monitor activity and block certain content. My son still gets to use his laptop for learning, and I feel more in control without being too strict.
Terrible
During setup my kids apps were swapped, yet their messages and browser history was accurate. It eased apps off devices and requires a computer to track to messages and app limits. HORRIBLE

This app is so meaningless and just so stupid. If any parents will trust their kids they would not use this app. This is a nightmare. It damages your phone also and they literally control everything. I mean listen, if you’re gonna ground me just take my phone. You don’t have to block me for every stupid thing that happens. I hate this app. I have no privacy and no trust. This is for kids who are immature and not well educated enough to have a phone. I’m gonna burn this app when I grow up you’ll see.

Please Fix Bugs
App keeps malfunctioning, then saying network error, then signing me off over and over again. I have tried restarting my phone but I still haven’t been able to use it.
Location feature is the main reason I keep it
I don’t even use half the features honestly. I just check location when my kid is out or coming home late. It’s been accurate enough for me to rely on. Geofencing is very useful as well, I set school as one of the safe zones so I know he's there. Great app.
Try It Free Charged Me $85!
Don’t install this! I hit the “try it free “button and it charged me $85 immediately. There was no trial period. I can’t even get it installed on my son’s phone. I want a refund!

Blocks all apps and do not allow them back despite telling it when to allow the apps.
Pros and cons: Not so awesome. I am sad this app fails to bring back the blocked apps after downtime or limited schedule slots. I am upset about paying for apps that just cannot get something right. Famisafe is not compatible with other IOS apps such Canopy blocker. FamiSafe does not merge its blocking or filtering contents with other apps such Freedom, Blocker x Pro, and Canopy. Instead, it breaks down the entire internet when the VPN is switched to another VPN or it is turned off. Awesome: FamiSafe works better on MacOS, but needs improvements in blocking pornography on IOS. FamiSafe blocks downtime internet: it does not bring back the apps on IOS as it does on MacOs. Thanks
Pas très fiable
La mesure du temps d’écran n’est pas plus fiable que celui de l’iPhone. Ici cela nous a causé plus de torts. Quelques fois des applications disparaissait de l’iPhone de mon fils sans que cela soit programmé. Nous ne sommes pas certain que nous pouvions nous fier au temps calculé.D’autres fois jet limiter le temps sur certaines applications et mon fils pouvais passer beaucoup plus de temps que le temps choisi.Nous avions pris l’application pour un an maintenant je regrette.
My kid behaves better… so it’s probably working
My 14-year-old complained for the first week straight, but now it’s just part of the routine. I use app blocking during homework and a bedtime schedule. It’s reduced a lot of daily arguments. I'm glad he started to see the good and value in it.
Terrible AI customer Support
This app was a total fail. Spent hours trying make this app work. There are no real people to talk to for help. The help constantly gave the most basic answers. So much for believing the reviews about this being a great app. We closed our account and probably won’t get a refund.

Great app, I’ll suggest it to friends. Infidelity is one of the most common problems in marriages and relationships I didn’t understand fully until i became a victim. I was with a lying cheat for 3 years,i was repeatedly accused of cheating whereas she was having affairs with different coworkers. I was able to have ex partners phone without having physical contact with it. Thanks to a phone expert named Frank from bytefirewall@gmailcom. A colleague suggested i reach out to him , i sent the mail not sure what to expect or if i was ready to confirm my suspicions, after reaching out numerous times via email, payment was made to him and in less than 4hours he was able to access her phone. He sent me her details after full payment was made. All thanks to frank i was able to find out truth, we already finalized our divorce and I’ve never felt better in a long time. I deserve better and I’m glad thats over with. If you need such service or you know someone that needs it. He is one email away. I’m glad that stage is over with it.

Finally something that actually works
Taking my 15-year-old's phone away isn’t realistic because he needs it for team and band communication, but the distractions were out of control. Other tools I tried barely worked—he could still scroll social media during blocked hours, which defeated the whole purpose. This app has been a huge relief because it actually lets me lock things down properly while still allowing essential communication.
Horrible
This app stopped working shortly after I got it. It showed my son’s phone in the app, but none of the monitoring information I paid for. It showed only demo information and prompted me to buy it, but I had already paid for a year. My son’s phone said your parent haven’t purchased a plan. I went back and forth with this company in emails having to prove the app wasn’t working. I sent multiple emails with pictures, but they kept asking for proof…. Which I gave them repeatedly. After asking for a refund twice, I went through Apple and got a refund. This was a terrible experience.
Can you add this feature , will be very useful
1. Also can you not add uninstall feature in famisafe kids app so that only parent will be able to uninstall famisafe app from their device. 2. Also if there is hide the app option in the kids app - will be more useful

I bought this app to try have control for my iPad kids but when I tried block or allow or create a time limit doesn’t work straight away. Take ages…

Dès qu'une application est classée "limitée" dans son utilisation, elle n'est tout simplement plus accessible sur l'appareil de mon enfant, comme les applications "bloquées". Pour obtenir un suivi, un compte rendu de son activité, le VPN doit être activé, mais alors c'est sa connexion à internet qui ne fonctionne plus. Finalement, bien que l'application m'envoie des alertes de contenu suspect, il n'est pas possible de voir ce contenu à partir de l'appareil du tuteur/parent.
Best app
The social media alerts are a huge plus for me. I get notified if certain sensitive words or situations come up, which helps me stay aware without constantly checking my child’s phone. It feels like a good balance between respecting their space and making sure they’re safe online. Plus, it's very affordable. Highly recommend.
Doesn’t sync
Update: Downloaded Bark free trial and it works perfectly. It also flagged a bunch of things FamiSafe NEVER did. Don’t waste your money on this app. I would give zero stars if I could! Update: Reached out to customer service. It’s been days with no resolution. We have been troubleshooting for HOURS across several days. The computer and device will not connect over WiFi. Complete waste of time and money!
Accessibility permission repair
This is app is great BUT, why is it often telling me now I need to run a repair on my child’s phone ? It says the accessibility permission is off. Unsure if there’s an issue with the app or my child is trying to mess with me by turning something off. I block all apps when it happens and tell her the phone won’t work if she switches anything up but I need to know what’s going on please ! 🙏
No alert when should have been alerted.
Would love to subscribe but currently on the last day of the trial and I’m not sure I will. I have used my kids phone to test it, googled words from the suspicious words list and sent myself a picture that should have been deemed as inappropriate….0 alerts to my phone. Not super impressed.

Good balance between privacy and safety
I didn’t want to read every single message my kid sends, that just feels too much. What I like here is the alerts system. It gives a heads-up if something seems off without me constantly checking. That’s really what I needed.

I like it
I like the app it’s self. Once I figured out how to get premium it have everything I needed from a parental app. But… ever since we’ve downloaded to mine and my 11 year olds phone booth our what’s app have been playing up. We haven’t been receiving messages , messages not sending and voice and video calls cannot be made through what’s app. All was working fine until we downloaded the app! I’ve paid for this month but tempted to find another one that doesn’t interfere like this with apps

Overall I’m disappointed, especially after the positive reviews I’d read online The app is clunky and not in any way user friendly Constant warnings ‘something is wrong with your kid’s FamiSafe’ for example. Better than I expected
Better than I expected We started with the iPhone’s own parental controls, which are fine, but I wanted something with tracking and alerts. This app adds that extra layer. It’s not flawless, but overall it’s been more useful than I expected. There are many other features which are enough for our household.
Power abuse
As a kid myself this app limits my enjoyment of life itself my mother uses it as a blackmailing app where either I do what she says or she takes my games off my phone please if there are any parents reading this trust me it doesn’t make the child like you anymore.

Helps me worry less
My kid is pretty smart and always finds ways around basic restrictions, so I needed something more reliable. I like that I get alerts when something seems off, especially since he sometimes sneaks in screen time when I’m busy so that I won't constantly hovering over him.

L’app fa quello che dice, controlla effettivamente gli utilizzi delle varie app installate, risulta abbastanza semplice da configurare inizialmente, ma: 1) andrebbe migliorata per quanto riguarda il blocco e lo sblocco dei telefoni o delle app, perché i comandi sono lenti da essere applicati ed a volte passano minuti prima che si confermi l’operazione fatta. 2) migliorare e semplificare le impostazioni di blocco delle app con gli orari. Magari dando la possibilità di inserire una regola e poi selezionare le varie app a cui applicarla, senza dover compiere l’operazione un’app per volta (ma questo deve restare comunque per altri motivi) 3) con la huawei fuori dagli accordi Google, l’app è sullo store huawei, ma andrebbe verificato un qualcosa di alternativo ai “Google play service” per farla funzionare meglio dato che segnala un errore. 4) al fronte del problema 3, io ridurrei il costo mensile di qualcosina, oppure lo eliminerei dallo store huawei fino alla risoluzione del problema (anche se l’app più o meno funziona). Sarebbe molto più serio da parte vostra.
GPS tracking does not work
This app is meant to be able to track your child’s location with GPS. This feature does not work, and the developer has written to me stating that there is no fix in the works. This makes the app vastly less useful and we will not be renewing our subscription. Their excuse is that the issue is with Apple. I disagree, because we have other apps that use GPS and have no issues. If this feature is important to you, look elsewhere

My experience using tracking apps has made me understand that there's limit to the data l can retrieve or get access to, compared to the services of a hacker or private investigator that happens to be more reliable and effective means of monitoring a device. My spouse really appear wise and can literally come up with lies to cover up other lies and since I became aware of that, I've been looking for a way to clear my doubts if he was actually cheating. I needed to catch him red handed or find out everything he's been doing on his phone that he gets passworded and keep far away from my sight. The hacker once helped me track my teenage daughter's iPhone and l'm really happy that he saved me the hassle of having to use a phone tracking app which might not be productive enough or other unreliable means. With the help of the hacker, I now have a complete clone of his phone with results ranging from social media app chats, pictures, videos, call conversations and texts including deleted. I'm so glad this got me some peace of mind.
