I want it where you can see what your child’s doing live 24 seven because some of my children are sneaky and I don’t know which ones still on the trade so and then I can go back to the history and check and it plays clips what they were on and it shows their screen 24 seven live
Totally unreliable
Yet another parental app that just does not work, sometimes it does, most times it doesn’t. I had one child registered on it. The following day I had another 3 random children on it. Why can’t these app people get it right.
Mobicip is great but has some issues
I’ve tried others like google family, ourpact, and others I can’t remember, but this one seems to do all of what others can do but on cross platform, which is pretty great. Since we have kids and adults on this I’m noticing that I’m getting blocked on apps I need, like finance apps. The apps can be downloaded just fine but content never shows up. I tried going in and allowing web addresses that I think the app hits but still nothing. I would recommend once they have that stuff sorted out.

Seems like a useful app for parents looking to manage their kids’ screen time and online activities. The features offered look comprehensive and thoughtfully designed for families.
Hate it
As a teenager, I hate it. No, it’s not because of rules or teenage restrictions or whatever, but because I would be on MY SCHOOL’S WEBSITE and after like ten minutes it would be blocked. Also, my parent never get alerts for any requests AND I would get up and check my phone. This would be the first time on my phone that day and everything would already be blocked. WAY too much mistakes.
Keep your kids safer
Mobicip gave us a measure of peace of mind knowing our son could not access sites we did not want him on. It also gave us the ability to set timers and limits
Unable to setup on phone
It is so hard to set up on the phone. Unable to set up on iPhone. I sent a email to tech-support and they sent me generic steps which I can find online on the website terrible.
Broken since IOS 15 update
Hi, I’ve not been able to use the app section since IOS15 it just chucks you back out of the app. I have been patiently waiting for the update but nothing for 2 months. Can you let us know when a new update will come along to patch this? Before the update, I had blocked a load of apps from my daughter and the only way to give them back as I cant get into the app section now has been to delete the VPN from her devices. So I’m now paying for a subscription which I am now using 🙁

I am a child who's parents have installed this app on my personal phone. So far, despite it blocking some questionable words, such as "pink", it has been a relatively good app for my parents and I. Although, on occasion, my widgets will disappear and I will have a new shortcut with the Mobicip icon titled "Peregrine". I have generally ignored this, fixed my home screen, and assumed it to be a glitch. Although, today the "glitch" reappeared and I was unable to open apps or download them as they were restricted. Yet, it isn't just inappropriate apps or something, I'm not even capable of launching the Mobicip app. I can only launch websites and the App Store. It's only 2:00 in the morning so I will see if the glitch stops, but, please, moderators of Mobicip, if you could tell me any information that would be great!
Securing your child on Public School & Home Devices Access
Very often public schools put the responsibility onto parents and guardians to safeguard their children away from inappropriate content. When your public schools do not support your ChromeBook or non-Apple devices, Mobicip is the way to go. Do not assume your child is protected, Mobicip offers several options depending on your need.

I loved the app at first, but then I ve realised that even on my kids blocked time they can still go on you tube using not the you tube app but thru safari. I regret paying for 1 year subscription. Deleted it of our phones
Block screen time didn’t work
I’ve just downloaded this on my and my son’s phone and tried the block screen time but nothing happened? What am I doing wrong?

Good tool
This was a good tool to use for my kids to block unwanted websites and keep them browsing safely. Like all tech, it has problems and compatibility issues, but most things we were able to overcome. I liked that I could use it on laptops and phones.

Glitches every second literally! Dosnt let you go on images. Don't get it it's useless
Very functional
We used this app across our primary school students devices and found it very functional for most apps. We had some troubles getting Minecraft to work correctly despite mutiple support requests, but for YouTube and safari/Microsoft edge it worked admirably and managed to protect their browsing requests. Support was responsive in most cases and the install on all platforms easy and simple. I would recommend for young children - we found too difficult to maintain admin with high school kids.. school expects them to be able to access anything unlimited. Happy with this app.
Kept my kid safe
My son just turned 18. He’s had Mobicip on his phone since he was 14. I feel like it gave him the freedom to use his phone, but provided enough controls to keep him safe. Thank you, Mobicip!

Peace of mind at a great price!
Mobicip has been an easy way to trust that my child isn’t stumbling (or seeking) getting into things that aren’t age-appropriate. I have been using it for years and it checked all the boxes I needed, including most YouTube videos that there’s no way for me to oversee. Highly recommend. Their customer service is responsive and quick if needed! The only constructive criticism I have for the developers is that there were numerous occasions where it was overly restrictive when I didn’t call for it (and I even un-checked all of the categories to block) not allowing him to research various things he needed to for school. But overall it’s been wonderful and just exactly what our family needed, and at a fantastic price!

Peace of mind when my kids are online
As a mom of 2 boys, I find this app incredibly helpful. I can let them freely use the internet knowing that they will not stumble across any inappropriate content. Additionally I am able to set limits on their screen times as well, all manageable in a single app.
Terrible. Disaster !
My child is ONLY using her laptop for college. It takes 60-80 seconds to load pages. And with time it it’s out 60% of the time and she loses all her work. I emailed them and took them over a week to get back to me. This sidestep deserves zero stars !! I spent hours and hours on setting it up and it’s useless. EVEN when you ALLOW ALL WEBSITES AND APPS it still blocks and delays pages and times them out. Only solution is to uninstall it from the laptop. And boom like magic everything works. Don’t throw your money away and give it to These people. It’s horrible. Disaster. They don’t deserve a penny. If they don’t refund me I’ll file a dispute with my credit card. Shame on them !!!!
Responsive Customer Service
After having a subscription for several years, we canceled when our kids were old enough to use their devices safely. Customer service responded to our email within minutes to confirm the subscription had been canceled.
Freezes regularly since major update
For the most part this is a good browser that does what it says but since the last major update it has been freezing constantly forcing me to totally close and reboot the app. Fix this please!

Trust and peace of mind
I’ve been using Mobicip to monitor my son’s online activity, and it has been a very positive experience for our family. It gives me peace of mind by allowing me to stay informed about how he uses his devices without feeling the need to constantly check in on him. The location feature has also been incredibly helpful, especially when he’s out, as it allows me to know that he’s safe. Horrible app & service
I’ve had this app for almost a year and have been trying to work with customer support most of that time for the same issue of Mobicip constantly not working on our MacBook Pro. I’ve been waiting for an answer this last time since April and they still can’t tell me why it keeps happening. I finally just uninstalled it and asked for a refund but they’re telling me only Apple can issue the refund even though it’s outside of Apple’s timeframe. Complete waste of money and sooooo many hours of frustration! Don’t bother.

My parents had bought Mobicap for me because they had brought it for my brothers when they were myage they’re now 19 and 22 but it’s good I feel like I’m safe but on yt and search it doesn’t block photos and it takes forever for some stuff so if your impatient do bot download it I ave mixed feeling about it so I’d suggest not to down,lad but if you Need it greatest app ever no offense to the company

Mom’s favorite app
With summer break, my kids definitely have more free time, so Mobicip has been really helpful. As a mom of a 15-year-old and an 8-year-old, I love being able to use schedules to manage their screen time and plan out the week. The home screen makes it easy to quickly see how much time they've spent on their devices each day. It helps me keep an eye on things without constantly asking, "How long have you been on your iPad?" or "Isn't it time for a break?" Managing screen time has been so much easier this summer, and it's given our family a better balance between screen time and other activities.
This app is the worst
This app won’t get off my device. My parents decided that they no longer needed it, and deleted it, so no one is restricting my device. However, Mobicip keeps blocking sites and I can’t delete it. It is glitchy and unreliable, and only did something useful like two times in many years. It is also blocking the most random things, with no one on the parent end to stop restricting access. Do not get this app, because if you do it’s basically permanent.

I’ve used Mobicip for years now and I feel reassured my children are protected.
Something you should know
I don't mean to sound like a critic in any way, I really wanted this app to work.The browser is very buggy and I do not classify it to be stable in any form. It cannot be compared to safari (looking similar is not good enough). It crashes and freezes randomly, and even with the highest parental filter I still get annoying popups. This is quite disappointing if you consider the price of the app. There are a lot of addition addons ontop of this application if you want to gain full control of the service. Please don't rush into buying this, know your options before hand.
8 years of Mobicip
We signed up for Mobicip when our son started using his own computer (6th) and got a cell phone (7th). He has graduated now and is 18. We have gone a different route that is more about accountability than parental controls. But Mobicip has been a huge part of his journey. It also gave me a huge peace of mind to know that he was safe online, and I could always see what was going on with his browsing and app usage.
Horrible app
Hi everyone, I just want to let you guys know this app is horrible. I have deleted it on my sons phone and my phone. Even after we deleted it it still gave us problems like giving my son screen time limits deleting his apps after a certain amount of time, taking Amazon as an inappropriate website. overall I do not recommend because it keeps on showing up on my son’s phone. Would you like to download this app yes or no and he always clicks cancel it shows up at least 300 times a day. He says he can’t catch a break.
Useful app, recommended
I’ve used this app for my kids mobile use for several years. It does take some working with settings if you want it to give more access to content than the default, but it does what it is meant to do, very well.
Didn't stop what it should have
It's a shame that within 30 seconds I was able to view things I bought this app to protect my children from seeing. After that 30 seconds of playing, I could easily find images of pretty much anything I wanted through google. I'll send a separate email to the developers indicating how easy this was to overcome, hopefully they'll fix it.

I think this is a great app frankly, it’s the only one I can use that actually works in terms of decent parental controls on Apple phones for kids.
The Worst App Out There
I don’t like this app at all. I have no freedom ‘cause my parents see EVERYTHING I am ever on. It makes me feel like they don’t trust me with ANYTHING online. And you guys, the ones who made this app, you should feel lucky that I’m even giving you a star, ‘cause if I could give you -1 stars I would.
Simple and easy to use
If you don't want you kids to have full access to everything on the internet then this product gives you the ability to lock down and have visibility of what they see and read. Easy to set up just make sure you disable safari. I needed to change device part way through my subscription and the support people sorted this out for me quickly with no problems.
Requires additional US$10 annually for basic features
Pretty useless and difficult to use unless you pay US$10 annually for basic features like whitelisting, blacklisting, category blocking and promised "simple browser-based parental controls". To be fair it's in the description, but buried deep within it. Be up front guys and give us a sample of the "simple browser-based parental controls", even if for only a single white or black-listed site...
