Awesome app like the options n groups of pictures!!! I tell all my friends at work about how great this site is especially new parents… so many like it. Great job! I really enjoy the groups you have like pets and this time last year etc…. 👍🌈😊👏

Good app for sharing with family far and close
This app is super convenient to share photos of baby and family. One improvement to allow for captions (add, edit, remove) on the photos would be great! To provide interactive context to the receivers from the sharers.

The idea is good - sharing photos around family in different locations. However, as a non-owner of the account I can’t add photos without paying a huge fee, the app itself is full of ads making the UI such a mess, and the notifications are SO spammy (“buy this photo book ”/ “get this before time runs out” etc) - so all notifications are turned off, and thus I look at it far less. Too much greed by the app owners has spoilt a good idea.

App WAS great
This app was great until they began charging for things that were once free, began losing photos I ordered, and began shoving ads down my throat. Terrible update. People don’t like this, you’re going to lose business.
Great for distant Families
With this App one can see great grandchildren grow and develop. Wonderful way to be involved in their lives on a daily basis. And see their adventures I love this app.The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because once they changed the packaging of mailing photos that I bought they started getting lost and it was too much of a hassle to try to get them to be replaced. I have three great grandchildren that I follow on this app.
No way to export your own photos in bulk
I really like a lot about this app, but this is a major dealbreaker: there is no way to mass download/export the photos and videos you’ve uploaded (even with the most expensive paid subscription which advertises a “bulk download” feature). If you ever want to move to another service or simply make a backup of your own memories, you apparently have to save everything individually. I contacted customer support hoping they could provide a bulk export or another solution, but they couldn’t help with that either. For an app specifically designed to store and share important family photos and videos, users should absolutely have a reasonable way to retrieve their own content in bulk. I’d happily update my review if a true bulk export/data download feature is added.
great app too many popups
i love this app it’s a great way to send photos of my nephew to the whole family, but do not buy it if u don’t plan on paying for anything! i want to see a photo i just added to the album but its kind of hard when you are constantly seeing that u need to buy an album or pictures stop this insane amount of self promotion!!
Love this site
Excellent place to see pictures anytime, anywhere in the world! I love this site because I can see my great-grandchild daily (through pictures) since I’m often out the country. This way I don’t have to nag wanting to see more pictures. I love this site!
Never got my prints…
I ordered prints 2 times and never got my them. there’s no way to track through the app so now I’m nervous some creep has my child’s pictures
Almost perfect!
I really love this app!! Making great use out of it and feel much better posting here rather than on social media. Two little things I’d love to see introduced: - the option to add a ‘Friend’. Obviously this can be typed as a custom name but would be handy if it was an option. - the ability for people who access my album to ‘like/love’ (☺️😍😂😳😮) or react to the photos in some way! Not everyone feels like commenting but would be nice for a quick way for people to acknowledge the photos.

The app itself is great, love being able to share my photos with my family but don’t bother ordering anything from the store. I’ve waited almost 3 months for my photos that I paid for and customer service hasn’t responded to my last 2 emails.

Not a moment Missed
This has been a joy for us to see her grow before our eyes through pictures. Being able to share pictures when she visits us has been fun for the whole family. Liked it so much the first year we renewed for a second year. Prints ordered are very affordable.
Terrible customer service & ship times
The photo sharing is good but they offer free print each month. The prints can take upwards of 7 weeks to ship and if they somehow get lost, customer service is basically auto-chat/AI. I have consistently been disappointed with customer service and I question the value you get since it’s a monthly subscription.
I love it
I do love this app, it lets me share the photos with my family who live away and they can keep up with the growth of my baby, it is a little slow and the ads are a bit annoying but the app overall is good
Slowly being priced out
This app started really well, and we used it all the time when our daughter was born It’s a great way to save your photos of your child in a way that all your family can see. We live far away from most of our family, so this is a great way to keep in touch Unfortunately every update brings further price walls in, and I worry it will be unusable soon. I understand the need to make money, but constantly locking more and more features away behind subscriptions, features we previously had access to, whilst simultaneously adding more and more adds and plugs to your shops and partners is turning us away from the app I hope they keep the app simple and move away from the subscription model. Nothing they offer is worth the price per month subscription, and they are removing the core engagement to stay with the app
Great app but needs extra album features
We love this app and have used it for 3 years now and it’s fantastic to share all the memories with our family, however I’m now pregnant again and would love to create a separate album on the app to keep my 2nd child’s pictures separate in their own album and this doesn’t seem to be possible unfortunately

Lovely app - seeing photos in uk posted in Australia - watching grandsons grow up.. BUT A change in the app has made the photos smaller on the iPad Pro , it’s not as compatible.. ? but I still love to see them
Ruined by ads
Too many ad placements. Makes it glitchy and obnoxious. I don’t want to hear about premium thanks.
Very bad account support
Periodically I cannot access the account. I have a password manager that I consistently use. Mostly successfully. Then Mitene reports an error with username or password. Even though I use the same password manager that has been successful in the past. And Mitene support is **useless**. Unsupportive. No support.

I’m genuinely surprised it has so many good reviews. It’s not customizable at all aside from a few sharing aspects that aren’t even worth paying for. You can’t make albums, put titles or explanations on photos. And there’s no cross compatibility

FamilyAlbum is a great functional tool for sharing with relatives without cluttering Google Photos or iCloud. However, the cost for 'Premium' to get high-quality video and computer uploads is far too expensive. It feels like a 'double-dip' business model: the high subscription fees likely subsidize free users, yet I suspect both groups are still being targeted via trackers. While the app claims to be 'ad-free,' their App Store privacy labels show they still collect identifiers and usage data. I’m not convinced our shared photos and metadata are completely private or that information isn't being harvested for analytics. I’d like to see a more transparent cost structure—perhaps a small, universal fee for everyone—and a firm, clear guarantee that no metadata is being harvested or sold. Until then, the high price tag feels unjustified. Until the aforementioned is ever addressed I’ll avoid this app.
App developers are rude when you make suggestions
Made a suggestion that they develop the App to work in Landscape orientation (like most good Apps do) and just got a rude response. Clearly they are in it just for the money. I’m also concerned how securely the photos are stored.

I love this app - it’s an excellent way to share photos with friends and family while keeping them off social media. Some main things I’d like to see improved: better notification settings so you can change the notifications you do/don’t receive, particularly push notifications Screenshot blocker Ability to edit your album invitees capabilities (once already in album) ex allowing certain ones to add/download photos Album invitees must have real name available not just nickname so you know who they are

This app used to be great but now there are ads that play at the top of my "recents" tab constantly, and I can't see who recently viewed the album like I was once able to. Will find another app to use.
poor implementation for ipad
The app is a great way of sharing, but the implementation is poor and not intuitive. Trying to access the photos on ipad fails to show the full picture or the comments, except sometimes it does. Why doesn’t it work?

Almost the best photo sharing app
This app is wonderful and I have loved sharing photos, however, it would be great if the comment section was more interactive. It would be nice to be able to like someone’s comment or photo so I can see who’s seen the pictures or comments. Otherwise, I highly recommend this app

The app itself is nice but it was marketed as a completely free storage app (on Instagram bio). If y’all could rectify that someway somehow to avoid future confusion amongst future potential customers that would be quite lovely
Was amazing but ads have degraded the experience
My family has been using this app to share photos of our little one with family for 2+ years. It’s been incredible. We’ve purchased photos and even their photo albums. All were stellar quality (even the packaging). Recently however, the experience has started to degrade. I understand that they sell a premium subscription, and that’s completely fine. My problem is that this incredible app has been introducing ads that are increasingly becoming more and more invasive. While trying to look at recent activity, an ad for gambling automatically had the sound on, and there was no way to disable it. I understanding having ads in the free account experience, but enabling sound is quite the disgusting tactic

FIX IT! Lousy UX on iPad
This app used to be pretty good but it has become dysfunctional especially after updates to the windowing capabilities on iPadOS. The Developers should seriously consider taking a look at how badly it performs on iPad. Maybe they shoul actually consider making an optimized version for iPad.

Love sharing. Wish ordering was easier
Photo books are impossible to ship multiple at a time. I really wish I could order photo books from FamilyAlbum, but we only did my first son’s for six months, and it wasn’t worth it to ship each of them separately. I really like uploading to it and sharing with my family though. The free features are good.
Disappointing
The constant onslaught of ads, cross-selling, and promotional notifications that cannot be disabled is super annoying. The app itself is fine, though it could use a bit more polish and refinement. Update: I do have print offer notifications disabled in settings, the setting does not seem to be honoured. I’ve had to disable all notifications from the app on a system level.
LOVE THIS APP
FamilyAlbum is the type of app that actually cares about what features its users want. They are always looking to improve the app for the user’s benefit! The app itself is easy to use and I’ve already recommended it to two of my friends who just had kids. It’s easy to add photos and family members. My family loves using the app to look at photos of my kids! I LOVE THIS APP! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Used to love it until ads
We used to love this album app. Now the screenshots they’ve provided no longer match the experience, unless you pay a subscription. You’ll have ads blinking above every picture in every screen. And it’s just not worth it. And I’m not paying $70 to remove the ads.
Good app for video and photos
I enjoy using this app as a family to keep up to date with my nephew. The only thing I wish you could do differently is reacting to a post without having to comment. Can we not just heart a photo
