Beautiful book
Love the finished product and reminders to add in what’s going on. A web based would be nice for longer text entry. But I’ve been using for a few years and enjoy reading them with my kids now too! Incredible keepsake and memory book!
Terrible app and terrible service
I downloaded the app and was unable to create any notebooks. I contacted customer service and was told to do all the typical things, delete app, restart, etc and then send a video of my issue. I sent the video and was told the developers would look into it and come up with a solution. Meanwhile I’ve signed up for a free trial and subsequent subscription for the app. After numerous emails about my subscription and free trial, I’ve heard nothing. I cannot use the app and yet I’m still losing my free trial time and will potentially be charged. Terrible customer service and unusable app.
Beautiful book
I just received my first book and had to write a review. The book is excellent quality and the pictures printed well. The paper is slightly matted and not super glossy which I like. It turned out better than I could have imagined. Using the app was easy and when an issue did occur, which was my fault for changing phone numbers and not updating the app, they were quick with communication and fixing the issue. The only thing I wish were different would be more options for the family history/ family tree page. I’m making one for my second child now. Truly a wonderful gift.
Needs a desktop version!
This app would be so great if there were a desktop version too. It’s so hard to type and insert longer paragraphs on a phone for the different prompts, especially longer ones. Not to mention how hard it is to read what you’ve typed when you can’t zoom in on the mobile app, or put in multiple photos from way back in your photo library. It would be so much easier to drag and drop photos on a desktop or laptop. I’ve had the app for 2 years and really want to finish and print my daughter’s baby book (not to mention starting ones for my other two kids) but I’m finding it so hard to do on a mobile app alone. Please please make a desktop version!!!
Pay attention to your expiration date and time!
I knew my premium subscription expired today, so I’ve been working had to get my book finished. I had it in my cart for $99 then had to edit my address. Within that editing time my subscription must have expired (at 10:47pm, I figured I’d have until midnight as my cancelation email only said it expired on May 2) and it jumped to $165 plus shipping. Disappointed as I was excited to order this book but now I find it too expensive.
Finally have family photo albums
This app makes it so easy to make beautiful memory books. As someone who struggles to put together memory books, this app is amazing!
Don’t download
You have to pay to access 95% of it on top of buying the book. So you pay to fill it out then pay to buy it and ship it. Don’t do it.
Great app but need web UI
I love this! I was able to make a gorgeous book. BUT I found it really difficult to do a lot of the editing on my phone. Wish they had a web UI available for easier text editing.
Disappointed
I really want to be happy with it, I do. I spent SO MUCH time on it and enjoyed making it. I wish there was a spell check option because it’s riddled with errors. I proof read as best I could but it’s hard with a running toddler and I rushed and I ordered it before I had to resubscribe. It’s a beautiful book, great quality, but the errors are killing me. I spent all that time and it doesn’t even look like it. It’s 2024, they should have spell check on this app.
Too pricey for me
I genuinely love the format of this book, but i unfortunately am not in a place to afford a $50 subscription AND $100 for the book. I wish there were more options to have collages with more pictures. I’m sure the book is beautiful when printed, but I can’t justify the price. 😢
High quality and easy baby books
I’ve made 3 books for my children using this app and I love it! It’s easy to use, customizable, and the prints are very high quality.
Cash grab
This is such a cute idea but it’s a subscription on top of then buying your book. Definitely not worth it in my opinion. I don’t need to pay that much to have the book printed in the end. There are other places to fill in pages with photos and get a printed book that doesn’t require a subscription.
More than a pretty penny
First of all, I love the convenience of the app and how simple it was for me to upload pictures and memories each month! I really loved the set up, how easy it was to use and the ability to add extra pages. The quality of the book is amazing. The book is absolutely gorgeous! It is a really special keepsake for your baby and I’m glad I chose it. My only complaint is the cost. It was a $50 subscription fee and then a $100 ordering fee. I also was charged to upgrade after my subscription ended and I still need access to my book to finish edits. I rushed to finish the edits and had given myself so many times to proofread but still found a few mistakes that I had missed. This is not something they can fix once your book has been made so just be cautious of that. I wish the book wasn’t so expensive and I would use them again for the toddler edition, but it’s just too much for one book.
EXPENSIVE.
You pay for the subscription, then you pay for the book, then if you need more pages (which who doesn’t? This day and age all we do is snap pictures of our adorable little ones) you pay for those too! Before you know it, you’ve spent $200 on a book you can’t even fully customize. You can’t change anything layout wise about the book, you can’t add words over pictures. They have pre-chosen/made pages for you and you can not deviate or add anything on the pages they put together for you. IMO if you’re going to charge upwards of $200 for a baby book, make it more personable. Let us add text on a page with more than 3 pictures, let us layer it over a picture. Let us change the color of the page. Just some options.
I love it
I have printed two books for both my children. Their baby books will be cherished forever!
Suddenly Unusable
The entire app and website are suddenly covered with what appears to be Google Adsense content, possibly hacked. Very disappointed if I lost all my work not to mention my fully paid yearlong subscription.
Just Perfect!
This has been so fun to put together as my child grew! I liked having the prompts to be able to help me brainstorm, but also have the ability to change the titles, captions, and layouts of the pages. The only thing I would suggest is to have the ability to view it through a browser for easier typing than just on a phone or tablet.
Mailing address clitch
I loved working on my book and worked on it for a year but now that I am ready to purchase I cannot enter my mailing address. I have sent requests in with no response. I even tried a number I found online. I can’t get my baby book after putting in a years worth of work.
Perfect App for Busy Moms
It’s so common that subsequent children miss out on a collection of their dear memories from baby and toddlerhood because their parents are so busy chasing the big kids while nurturing their youngest. Thanks to this super simple, quick, easily accessible app, all three of my kiddos will have pictures and memories to look back on throughout their first years. I have sent my first two out for printing and working on my third now. I am so happy with user-friendliness and customer service up to this point.
Not worth the price!
I’m not one to write reviews, but when they increased the monthly price of the subscription, I was through. It was already frustrating that with the basic subscription you can’t customize any of the page formatting, and the cost of the books on top of everything is crazy. Save yourself money and don’t get this app.
Stay Away
Very disappointed with this app. Unless you love throwing money away, try another app. To start, you need to pay for a monthly/yearly subscription for the most basic features and very limited pages. You absolutely will need to add more pages to make it worth it. To add pages, more money! To simply export as a PDF, more money! To actually get it printed, you guessed it…more money! All those costs on top of the outrageous monthly fee. There’s no way to share your digital books with friends and family via a sharing link as other apps allow. There’s no desktop support, this can only be done on an iPhone or iPad. Difficult to use and VERY basic. Until this developer actually makes a useful app, stay away!
Cool concept
It’s cool in theory, I would love to make a book for my baby this way. However I’m not paying for a monthly subscription when I’m already going to be buying an $100 book.
Beautiful book
This app was an awesome way to make a baby book in the midst of a busy day to day life. When I had 10 minutes eating breakfast, or time while baby nursed or napped, I could hop on the app, add some pictures and notes and quickly jump to the next task. It took me a bit longer than I expected to finish it but when I did and it arrived I was very excited and emotional. My husband had not seen it so it was a surprise to him. He teared up multiple times while flipping through the pages. It was a beautiful moment! Great quality photo book.

The app is good and mostly fine to use when there arent bugs. But the real issue I have is the $50 subscription fee that you have to pay MULTIPLE times if you don’t finish your book in one year. I had a hard postpartum year and tried to keep up with the book but couldn’t. Well I went back to finish my book and had to pay another $50 to finish it ($100 so far) and then I’ll have to pay for the actual book on top of this (another at least $100)?! Deciding if I just call it a sunk cost and make a book elsewhere bc I will not be using them again for future years or children. I can’t afford it!
Great product!
The book is absolutely beautiful and high quality! The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I wish the app worked better on a desktop rather than a cell phone. Still a great product!
Best App Ever!!
Downloading this app was the best decision ever. I learned with my first child that keeping up with a baby book was near impossible and years later I found myself regretting the missed moments and notes. This app made sure every moment was captured and even at my busiest moments the slight reminders helped me to keep up with every detail! The book delivered was unbelievable! More beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Thank you baby notebook for making sure every memory will last!
If you change phone numbers you cannot access .
I have been using this app for the first 4 months of my baby’s life and I really love it. It has made it possible to keep up with all his milestones since I can add info as I think of it and then go back and proof it later. I typically try to write the monthly page and then go back at another time to do the photos for the month/add any other info I might not have initially wrote about. As much as I have enjoyed this app I have a big issue with the fact that you can only login by phone number and since no longer have that number I can’t get the code to get to my book. Now I have wasted my time, money for additional pages and lost all of my work since I can’t get into the app. Normally it stays logged in but when I went to do my baby’s 5month update it wanted me to put in the code sent to my old number. I’m very disappointed and hope there is a way for me to regain access to my book.
Baby book made easy
Trying to balance a new baby and the pressure of making a baby boom is hard! Having this app at your fingertips you can work on it when you can (aka contact naps) and capture everything as you go. Highly recommend if you actually want to finish a baby book!

Baby Notebook has made recording pictures and memories so easy for me and the final products are beautiful keepsakes! I’ve made a baby book and a toddler book for my oldest and I’m now working on her third book along with a baby book for my youngest.
