Council Option for Permits
Hey. Love the App but I now need to add a permit and the councils don’t show up which means I can’t add my permit. Can you rectify? Otherwise it’s great!
Worse app ever
Phone number is locked to an old account that it won't let me recover. Keeps on timing out. How this app gets 61k 5 star reviews has to be investigated

Best of parking app
Total pain
Arrived to a suburb in inner Melbourne and needed to park. To download the app and sign up (why you need my year of birth and address for parking is beyond me), whole thing took the better part of 15 minutes and then declined card transactions on two seperate cards before finally going through. A real pain and wasted time. If I didn’t have to collect something I’d have left and not come back. I do wonder how many new users just opt to leave rather than jump through hoops to pay the council even more money.

I’m finding ti very easy with the app in comparison with the previous machines for which my app only worked for a few months.
Make simple
The designers of this app got it right. Parking is indeed easy with it, thanks for making something right.
Dodgy culture
Two issues shine a light on the DNA of the firm behind this app. 1) they default parking the maximum. Meaning you pay more than you need if you don’t pay attention 2) they require prepayments rather than per use - and then use the cash for their own purposes I’m sure Generally the app is amateurish. Bugs and UX issues. (Stated by someone who had 100 techs working for me)
Reoccurring parking
There is no option to save a parking location as you favorite to choose which is a little fristr. Even if the app have an option to pay or select a parking location for multiple days would be great
Feels scamy
I don’t work or live in the area I’m forced to download and setup this app - I visit rarely but I have to top up $10 at a time … also I seem to always leave the thing running and end up paying for the full amount of time.

Constantly logged off and never let log again
App constantly logged off automatically, and the log-in button never works as intended. Automatic payment always charges more than it should be, so the general experience is like using a scam app. Even the supported location are very few, so it’s a useless but taking $10 to start.
Reminders are hidden charge
While the app works, the developers have hidden a charged SMS message instead of free push notifications. This is a money grab. With no way to opt out of just SMS the only option is to disable reminders all together. A very poor tactic.
Easy and Convenient
PayStay makes parking simple and hassle-free. The app is easy to use, payments are quick, and managing sessions is very convenient. Highly recommended.
Inconsistent
This app is so incredibly unreliable and inconsistent. It works when it wants to and causes problems every other time. Fix your app.
Great to online pay but difficult to identify the zone
PayStay could do better to help one know which zone they are in . It’s really not clear on the app

Not Happy
This has to be one of most dodgiest developers. They initially have live activities so you could see first glance how much time you had left, but then they removed it and instead change you 34¢ to send a text. They’ve intentionally make it inconvenient so they can make more money
It sometimes works.
Be ready to pay with your phone, or cop a fine. Privatisation of your taxed roads by a buggy app is something special indeed.
No Fuss

Cannot use Wise Mastercard - no contact number for help
Trying to pay but constantly declined. Wise says the problem is with the merchant (PayStay) and I should contact them, but there is no contact info on the app. Basically I now cannot park in the city I live in.
No lock screen display
Parking time doesn’t appear on the lock screen like other parking apps. Seems to be behind the others.
Predatory behavior
The update which set the parking duration to the daily maximum for the zone is disgusting predatory behavior.
Top up
Auto top as the only option is so annoying, what if you don’t live here? You just have to leave money in the app till you come back why can’t I just pay whatever I need to pay shouldn’t have to put $10 in just to pay $5 than have it auto top up again when it pays so I’ll be down $15 for 1 park
Doesn’t work
When I updated the app, payday wont let me login. I have to authenticate with a 2FA app but I don’t have one connected (never did) and Paystay won’t let me get past it. Can’t use to pay for parking. Terrible
Cannot Login
Can’t login no matter what I try. And I can’t use an alternative method because your phone number can only be associated with one account.
Gave me a parking fine.
Your app times my car out of my parking spot after 1 minute of activating it without me knowing. Now I have a hefty parking fine.
Useless App
After downloading and linking payment I still got a parking fine and customer service would not help
