What people like
- Interface is clean and easy to use
- Shows exactly which vehicle is coming
- Explains why public transport is delayed
- Map integration works really well
What they complain about
- Real-time data is often wrong or missing
- Many features are locked behind a paywall
- App crashes frequently on launch
- Updates can wipe your saved settings
NextThere is good and this is why.
I like NextThere because it is very good. Ngl, it’s better than most other bus apps, trust me on this. It’s pretty easy to use and it is good as I already mentioned. And that is just a few of the reasons why the NextThere app is genuinely good. Lolllllll 😜
Terrible UI
Terrible UI
Where did bus numbers go?
Not sure there’s been an update, but there are no bus numbers displayed today. This was THE feature that distinguished this from the official app. Your app it’s almost unless without that info displayed.
Live tracking…not
Used to show live tracking for Transperth in WA Australia but stopped working a couple of years ago
satellite free pls
it is useful but I wish that the satellite version of the map was free especially since the transit version is a lot harder for me to navigate around
Nice app
Reliable and Easy to use
Why?
Used to be great. Now it’s just stupid.
Not all buses are live
Great for our school but no one can explain why one of the buses does not provide a live location except when it has arrived at bus stop. (111n) Sydney
Great App, but…
This App works great for your repeatable trip and run times. Pretty useless when you want to pick your destination and find a journey. Just a “dumb” app in that respect. You will have to try to work out the routes and connections yourself. You will need multiple Apps to get around, and for that it’s not complete.
Best public transport app ever
Highly and strongly recommend over any other transport app. 👍👍👍👍👍 Alas not for android systems but perhaps one day
The best public transport app
Very good public transport app would highly recommend.
No
The bus was early so I couldn’t get lollies
NextThere
Super helpful and mostly accurate. It makes it really easy and quick to find your stop/station and find the next bus/train that comes. Would totally recommend to anyone that asks!
Fake light rail data
The light rail data is inconsistent with the arrival time
Useful but Liquid Glass ruins everything again
It was perfect until the Liquid Glass update and ruined everything. Some features now require more taps which is annoying
hectic app
its hectic
Tracking the bus feature
There has been many occasions now where I have tried to trust the bus tracking that is telling me where it is yet it continues to come earlier than said. I have now missed my bus as it came earlier than said on the feature, why make a feature if it wont actually work well.
Good app but needs some bug fixes
Notifications of stop closures appears for all stops and routes across the city on services never used and locations never traveled to, not just starred routes. Some busses show three times in a row in the schedule with the same time to arrival, viewing the entries shows it has the same vehicle number for all three
Bus data
While app is great - maybe data coming from the buses is wanting.
Not too user friendly
Not able to do a quick check re station n tone
Bus
The app is so good plus it has the picture of the bus and has very good estimate of time
app upgrade
updated to the pro version. Finally had all my trips set up the way I wanted. Then I updated the app and lost all my settings. Will not be renewing next year. What a waste of money.
It’s fine
It gets the job done but sometimes certain busses don’t show up or say real time tracking unavailable
glitchy
it can be so glitchy. for the last couple days i have not been shown accurate times. When i compare what my app says to my friends it doesnt match. I CANNOT CLICK ON BUS STOPS WITHOUT THE APP FULLY CLOSING.
App
This app is amazing because it tells you why the train has been delayed and tell you when your train arrives and which station it is stopping at!!!
Another money grab
Great easy app till they removed everything unless you pay a subscription fee.
Publico Transporto made easy
This app is functional and well-calibrated. Real time appears to be consistent & reliable. Searching for a stop can be a little arduous, but a subscription would address that I think - with nearest stop suggested on launch. I dig the ability to look at the trip itinerary to work out proposed destination time. Map integration is excellent and it's great to see the developers are adding more cities. For those of you on public transport, this app is a must-have.
Crashing
My app keeps crashing and shows a dashboard screen for 1 second then crashes
Invaluable app, wish map was better
5⭐️
Trash
Works sometimes
good but shouldn’t have to pay to know details about a bus..

NextThere Upgrade
You’ve completely ruined this app and turned it into a complicated Cashcow.
Bonne app
Bonne app Mais un bug fait que rien n'apparais dans le centre de notification. Possible de le résoudre? Merci
Accurate
Just want to let you know that you do a great job with when the first boss comes to iiiiuuuuui
Pro
Would be better if you didn’t have to get pro to have widgets.
Such a great app
Super-useful, great UI and UX. Even the free version of this app has all the essentials, but honestly it’s worth subscribing to not only get a deeper set of features but also to support encourage the developer.
