i heard a lot of good things about this app all over social media, but unfortunately when i put in my uni campus, i couldn’t figure out why it was not working and then i realised that this app doesn’t actually have my campus. this is really disappointing as im going into my first year of uni and was really depending on this app to help me figure out where all my lectures and tutorials would be but unfortunately they do not offer acu strathfield so if you go/are going to acu strathfield campus, don’t bother with this app. i’m hoping with this review, they will add my uni as an option because i was really excited to use this app. :(
Lifesaver but small update would be great!
This app has been an absolute lifesaver and has stopped me from getting lost so many times! I honestly don't know what I'd do without it. I do have one suggestion for improvement. Since the University of Adelaide and UniSA have now merged into a single university (Adelaide University), it would be great if the app could be updated to reflect this. For example I have to switch between the University of Adelaide – North Terrace Campus and UniSA – City East Campus, even though they are now both part of the Adelaide University – City East Campus. The app still works, but constantly switching between the two makes it more difficult to find buildings and navigate around campus. Overall still an amazing app!!
Not enough campuses
I love this app but I think it definitely has room for improvement- like they could definitely include more campuses as they don’t cover most unis!!

great app however there’s a glitch issue. i put the wrong email address and it won’t let me change it when i press ‘wrong email address’ and put the new one it says this email has already been taken. and it won’t let me go back to the start to login. i’ve tried deleting and re-downloading but nothing changes. please fix it!

Freezes too much
It was once a very useful app and worked functionally. Now it just freezes constantly. Very hard to navigate when it doesn’t work to its full potential. Hoping they will update and fix the issues.

Two years ago, I reviewed it saying it was in hefty need of an update. Came back now while doing occasional app updates to see this app on the list, and wow! They did a lot of improvements. The design and user interface is a lot more smoother compared to back then. They did remove the comment section, subject and uni chats (tbf it grew inactive over the years for the most part), but overall I’m quite impressed with the changes. It’s returned to being a handy navigation tool (whenever I need to visit campuses) and provides quick access to the Student VIP site. Please keep up the good work! 🙏 You’re doing better!
App is become outdated! DEVS PLEASE UPDATE
The all was good a few years ago, and even my University provided it to us as a useful tool. Now half the buildings have changed, new ones have been built and everything, yet the app hasn’t been updated to match those details. Why? People could utilise the app and without consistent updates it’s become unusable. I also find that like others in these reviews the app freezes sometimes. I hope that the developers read this and update what use to be a good app to use for new uni students. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Too much bugs, cannot use filter and search almost all the time. Overall design is terrible
Bug fix
Helpful but when downloading the app there is an issue with verification. It constantly tell you there is an error and you have to get out of the app multiple times until it actually accepts your email verification. This has happened to me and two other people.
It’s ok
I think the fact that you can only change your home campus once every 24hr is not very helpful for people that have two different campuses to go to. Not to mention one of the ones I need info on is not supported by lost on campus ? What’s the point.
Using Issues
After Reloading this app，when it ask me to choose the year that I plan graduate，I choose 2026，and this app keep alert me that the year you choose graduate must be greater than or equal to start year. But I even dont know where to choose the start year

Doesn’t work
No matter how much I try, or how many different emails I use, the link it sends come up as invalid or with an error when I try to open them using google or safari

I just finished my second year at university and I don’t think I’ve used this app once without it freezing. So incredibly buggy. Helpful to find classes and plan where to park but oh my god can you make it not freeze every minute please.
Student vip has no exit
Great app but lil outdated. Seems that exiting student vip is impossible if you don’t sign up.

Completely unresponsive
App is completely unresponsive and won’t let me click on anything. I’ve tried restarting the app and deleting and re-downloading but nothing works. Shame it was a great app 2 years ago.
Useful when it works
I’ve found this heaps useful while at uni, when it works. Firstly, some information for places on campus are getting outdated and I’m not sure who is responsible for updating places and photos etc. The biggest let down though is the constant freezing. If I actually got lost on campus I wouldn’t bother with using the app, it freezes whenever I actually need it and it’d be quicker for me to work it out myself.
Okay, but there needs to be a big fix
The compass is mostly accurate, but everytime I leave the app and come back to double check I’ve typed in the right location, the app freezes. The only way to unfreeze it is to restart the app, which is very frustrating and time is wasted retyping everything I hope this app has not been abandoned… please fix this glitch 🙏🏿

Could be better
Google maps will at least give you a pedestrian route to a building, even if it is a dumb one. This app currently only shows how to get there as the crow flies. It just could be so much better if it mapped pedestrian entrance/exits to buildings and the location of publicly available stairs and lifts. Missing an Opportunity here guys. You could even sell your information to Google or Apple.
Extremely useful
This app is pretty handy! Use this to find my exam venues last sem, without it, I may have been lost.
Has not been working for a month
I downloaded it, used it for two weeks and by the third I can’t press into the search bar. It’s frozen and others are going through the same thing! Haiz

It keeps on crashes, and some rooms are not shown in this app, I think this app need to be updated and fix regarding the crash. Be more accurate.
freezing
every time i leave the app (even just sliding up) the app freezes and you have to close the entire thing to be able to get it to unfreeze. so annoying when you have to double check the number to a building/room and leave the app and it just freezes when you come back lol

This is really a great app! I know people from heaps of different Unis who have made themselves familiar with it. Great for first year students! A good way to familiarize oneself with their Uni. Good work guys!

This has been happening for a while. When I open the app, it freezes and I can’t click anything. Then when I exit, and open again it works for a short while before freezing again. Didn’t have these issues before

Needs an update
Great if you’re learning your way around campus however: 1. If you are not on campus and trying to work out your routes before semester starts it will automatically zoom in on your location and tell you how far away the room you are searching for is. I know where I am, I don’t need to know that the particular classroom I’m searching for is 7.3km away as the crow flies. 2. Mixed with above point - will only give straight line directions. 3. Don’t swipe away to another app on your phone as the app will then freeze when you come back to it, causing you to need to restart the app.
