App is so easy to use
critical bugs make me nervous about even using the app
when viewing the account and routing numbers, the names are all shuffled around and because of this i put money in the wrong account and got a fee from my credit card company for insufficient funds. also got an email telling me i have a notice in my mobile app but when i log in there are zero notifications or alerts.
Card control
The card control feature won’t let me click on it to turn off or in my card.. I sure hope you fix it asap… Cause I need to be able to control my card incase I was to lose it especially…
Nope
I used to love this mobile banking app because it was simple, fast, and had great modern features. Unfortunately, many of those features seem to be gone now and the app glitches constantly. Recently it won’t even let me enter the app, even after reinstalling it and updating to the latest version. What used to make banking easier now just slows me down and makes things more frustrating.
FIX the deposit check feature!!
Everything works great until you try to take a pic of the back of the check. You either have to take 5 pictures before it is successful or it cuts part of the check off, is held to review and then rejected so you have to start the process all over.

So many ads!
This is the only banking app that I have that uses cookies to track their users for advertising. Main page looks like horrible outdated website cluttered with ads, not a banking app. Spend time cleaning up your app and make it usable instead of trying to make an extra penny from the ads.
Lost all history on checks and no card info
After the supposed upgrade I cannot retrieve images of checks. I also can’t do much when trying to look at debit card and credit card info. It’s already been almost 3 months and still no fix.
Constant login problems
This is not just the app. Tva’s login system has constantly given me login issues even after I’ve visited in person and reset passwords. I think their MFA server is only active during business hours, because it will not send a code by text or email SOMETIMES. This is why I cannot use TVA as my primary bank, their online service is not reliable. When it works it’s great. I love their customer service, but their online systems can use a professional IT architect to make it a true 24/7 service.

Lost my phone and got a new one and am unable to access my account without calling or going in. Very inconvenient. Get a different bank.
Card button not working
The card control feature is not working. I cannot access anything card related or turn it off
New update broke card button

Impossible to make payments or do anything basic
They make it incredibly impossible to do basic stuff on this. It is absolutely frustrating to even try to pay my car loan where they don’t make it easy to do so. It also tells me there isn’t an address on file but there is no option to even edit it to add it. It legit makes me want to pull my hair out. This app has been like this for so long of this too.
Card option not working
Cannot access the card features. I enable one of them a few days ago and now I cannot access to disable. Please fix.

Garbage app
Terrible app, interface is very difficult to follow and hard to navigate. The previous app was pretty straightforward and always easy to find the information that you needed. Now it is very confusing and I can never tell which account I’m actually looking at when I’m clicking through the app.
Banking app
Anyone else’s app glitching? It will NOT let me click the “card” option in the lower right hand corner. It just keeps glitching every time I try to tap it and now due to that I’m late on my online payments and have to pay a late fee because of their glitch on the app. On multiple bills and out of generosity I think they should be paying the late fee since it is caused by their app glitch and I can’t contact them because they’re closed so it’s just adding onto the late fee..
Missing support for Apple’s Secure Autofill Feature
Since the recent update, your app no longer supports iOS password autofill. It would be helpful if you could configure an Apple App Site Association file so iCloud Keychain can recognize the app and offer saved login credentials. It works for your website but not the app. It makes things just a little more difficult for logging in on the app side of things.

Genuinely Confused by the 4.8 rating
I came to the reviews to see if other people have as much trouble with this stupid app as I do, only to find that it has 4.8/5 stars despite the fact that basically all the reviews are terrible. I hate having to use this thing. It’s genuinely more frustrating than I can put into words—and that’s assuming it even works at all. 90% of the time, it gives me an error and won’t let me look at my bank information. I’m seriously so tired of dealing with this app it’s not even funny. TVA really needs to do something about it.
Garbage
Practically unusable. Half of the buttons don’t even work. It’s been this way since they changed apps and it’s never been fixed.

Love this app! Easy to use
Not an upgrade, but a downgrade
Prior to the system update, we absolutely loved this bank. It was the main reason we switched. The budgeting tools and added features were genuinely helpful and felt like what modern banking should look like. With the rollout of the new system, not only did the experience decline, but many of those budgeting tools and helpful features were removed entirely. On top of that, the interface now feels bloated and harder to navigate, statements are difficult or impossible to view, and logging in is very inconsistent. We have been told these issues are being worked on, but after a year or more with no real improvement, it is becoming increasingly difficult to believe meaningful fixes are coming. This update feels like a bait-and-switch compared to what was originally offered. It is frustrating enough that it makes us question continuing to use the service at all. We genuinely want to like this bank again and hope leadership takes these concerns seriously, because what once set it apart is now what is driving customers away.

App No Longer Usable
I’ve been with Knoxville TVA since 2016 and until recently haven’t had any complaints. However, since they updated their app about a year ago it’s been nothing but problems and the past few months it has gotten even worse. I do a lot of traveling and depend on the app to transfer money between accounts for my bills while traveling. It’s frustrating not being able to access my accounts through the app or on their website. I also see many others have been complaining about this for over a year now with no changes. I think it is time to move my accounts to another financial institution. Sad to do so but if I can’t access my accounts while on the road, then I need to move to another financial institution that will allow me to do so.
Updated? More like a Ugggghpdate
The new update is great at helping you plan ahead and budget because moving money between your shares is so tedious and clunky that you’ll need to make sure you have the money in the correct one long before you go shopping or go out.
Love the app…but one thing
I love TVA and the new app is much better than the older one. The only thing I wish would work better is check images. I can never get my cleared check images to show. It always says “item not found according to query criteria”, whatever that means. Please fix this! Otherwise, love everything about TVA!
Online banking
The “card” feature is not working it keeps glitching every time I try to open it. I’m trying to mange travel plans but it will not let me. It seems that the app always has something wrong with it or is “down”
