Great feature
This is such a great asset to being able to lock down your card when necessary.
No balance payment
I really love ECU the rates are great and the service is to. But this app has no way to make a payment, or even find a way to.
It’s good but why do we need this?
I have 0 complaints with the this app so far but all of the features here should just be included in the ECU Mobile app. It’s just kinda clunky to have 2 separate apps for the same bank.

All of a sudden I don’t get texts when I use my debit card to purchase something
Great App
This app is fantastic! I’ve never had any problems whatsoever. I have read a few of them reviews and people seem to have trouble talking about using two different Apps? Only one App is needed. It’s the regular ECU app. I hope that helps people? You can also turn off push notifications in your settings. If I had to say one thing bad it would be the option of the quick balance check is no longer available, but I am not even sure if that’s Eastman‘s fault. I think it has something to do with my iPhone software update for iOS 26.1.
Never works
It was great and super convenient when it worked. Now it always tells me it is unable to process my request. It’s concerning when I can’t find my card and want to freeze it until I find it for sure and the app never works. Very irritating. Wonder if other banks have this app that really functions. It’s worth looking into
Transactions
I like this. I just wish it would show the transactions when I open the app. I see it in my notifications but would like it on here in case I needed to go back to see something. If it’s already on here, I can’t seem to find it.
Nice App, Goes down a lot though
Like it says above, this app is good, when it works. I’m not sure if I just have bad luck with this app, but any time I try to use it it says “Sorry, we are unable to process your request right now. Please try again later.” It only works half the time I try to use it.

I have to keep deleting and reinstalling this app because it says sorry, we are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again later. But later never happens
Works, but inferior to previous app and unnecessary.
Don’t know why we needed a whole new app (as in forced to get it) to continue getting benefits available on main app. It works fine, no issues, but there is a major downgrade in one aspect. On the old app, my purchase alerts would not only ding on my phone, but would also buzz me on my smart watch. I don’t always have my phone on me or am in a situation where I can leave it on, so having an immediate way to know about expenditures strapped directly to my wrist was extremely convenient. I have turned on every single setting in the app and in my phone in connection to the app to allow alerts, and nothing I do will let me get alerts through my watch. Considering a relative recently had her card number stolen, and the only reason she caught it so quickly was because she just happened to be looking at her phone the moment the thief tried to run the card, I consider the change a MASSIVE downgrade. Please update the app so that I will get buzz alerts on connected devices to my phone.

I have three cards with them. The credit cards are no where accurate with how much I have actually in the card and I haven’t used them in more than a week.
Control
I do have control of my account. I get notifications when a charge comes in and appears suspicious.
Won’t even let me add my debit card
I try to make an account and I p it all my info in, and then I try to press the continue button but it just stays on the same page.

This app is so user friendly and secure. I truly appreciate banks that focus on the security of their customers.

I love Eastman Credit Union I love the fact that you’ve been around scene I was a child And I’m getting old You have the best customer service I have ever experienced with any company I have ever used..You help me when I need a loan you make it happen and you always call me or message me when you see anything unusual you don’t just shoot me a message you take the time to call me ..I love my ECU AND AM AVAILABLE FOR COMMERCIALS…LOL JUST KIDDING BUT I DO LOVE MY ECU I FEEL SAFE I DONT FEEL LIKE YOUR JUST GOING TO BAIL ON ME LIKE SOME OF THESE BANKS ARE DOING THANK YOU SO MUCH..graveplot
Aggravating
Not simple by far. Had to call customer service twice in 15 min to get it deleted and reinstalled. It continues to give me errors after I set it up, it tells me unable to process request when I attempt to log in.. It has no value. Just put card control back on the regular app. If it ain’t broke-don’t fix it 😡

Worst idea ever
First, the app will not allow me or my husband to add our debit cards. It says the information does not match. We were able to add our credit cards. Second, all of these features were already available on the ECU app, and it worked perfectly. Now I have to use a different username and password and add all of my cards manually, which is time consuming and inefficient. ECU said they were “streamlining” our banking experience. If this is their idea of streamlining, I’m concerned. Does this mean in the future, I will have separate apps for each of my accounts (checking, savings, etc)? Please add card control back to the original ECU app. One app for all banking services is much more streamlined and efficient. I am extremely frustrated and unhappy with the decision to have two apps for my banking needs.
