I don’t want to write a review
You have asked me to write a review more times than I can count in the last two months. Nearly every time I open this app. I have told you “no” every time. So, since you are essentially forcing me to write this review by asking over and over, here it is.
Great App - Transaction Notifications are Not Real Time
Great app. Has several new features that the old app didn’t have. Highly recommend for everyday use to monitor your accounts, apply for loans, and chat with the Member Service Center during business hours. Only current down side is that the push notification for transaction are not real time notification. Mine have been close to two hour delayed from when a transaction occurs. Even the SMS text notifications take about 30 minutes to an hour to come through. The Visa Purchase Alerts, however are within a minute or two. Thankfully those are easy to setup in the app. Great app. Just need a little more work to become excellent.
Memo line for mobile deposit
Since the rollout of the new app I have talked to several people and sent emails, but no one seems to have the power or knowledge to add the memo line back in to the mobile deposit feature. It was in the old app, but now seems to be an impossibility to put back. I’m learning to live with the incompetence. I’m weary from chasing this elementary task.

I don’t think it is fair that you have taken a way my mobile deposit, I think this is unfair as my husband has cd’s with y12. I would like for you to consider adding mobile deposit back to my account. Thank you in advance

So difficult to log in
It takes ages to get logged into to app because it has a loading screen “please wait” that takes at least 5-10 minutes each time. It’s not just with me my husband has the same issue on or off WiFi and no matter the location. It’s a bug in the app
Old app was much better
I've been a Y12 customer for years and loved how easy it was to pay bills online. Now the new app makes so many UI mistakes that I have to retrain myself each time I go in and pay a bill. Open the app, go to "Easy Pay" then I have to click the Pay button to get a list of my billers, then type in some text to search the list, then I can enter the amount that needs to be paid. Then I hit the pay button again? Too many clicks and makes zero sense.
Update Needed
Please update the app. It feels bland and cheap. Sometimes it is buggy as well. It would be nice to make it more modern as well as adding in some color. I switched to Y-12 from my previous bank and the app alone is making me miss it.

Stop popping up a survey
I have submitted a 3 star review and didn’t write anything but now since this is going to pop up every time i want to look at my account i would give zero if i could
Frustrating app
This app does not work as well as the previous one that they had out. Mobile transfers from other bank accounts won’t work properly for me, ever. The login never works, and I always have to change my password. Renewing my password does not work, it always states “this password has already been used.” When, in fact, it absolutely has not ever been used. The whole process makes dealing with the financial institution much more difficult. No point in the “convenience” of an app if it can’t carry out its purpose. Maybe one day it will run properly, but until then I guess I’ll stick with calling in.

Around 7:30 pm every single day, the app doesn’t allow me to unlock or lock my y-12 Card, and when the cards unlocked around this same time of night the card itself doesn’t work until 9-10 pm every single day

Switching banks ASAP
The app is terrible compared to first state financial. There should be an available balance and a pending balance based on what is coming out. I've never been seen a banking app without this feature.

What happened to mobile deposit?
Logged in to the mobile app today, and the mobile deposit option is missing. Why? Very inconvenient. Edit: Found mobile deposit hidden in a menu. Not sure why they removed it from the bar on the home page.

Doesn’t work properly
Cannot pay mortgage on the app. Paid in person then the app says I’m past due. Cannot pay towards the principal. Super sketchy

Where it shows the Loans you have, it should show your exact amount of the bill Not what the bank wants you to pay! If my loan bill is $250.36 For the month The app says total amount owed $15 Just because I get ahead

What happened?
I loved this app and last week there was an update and now it’s very hard to navigate and pretty ugly. I used to use it all the time but now I don’t even want to open it. It is very user unfriendly all of a sudden.

Horrible Paymemt Methods
Ok I am going to be flat honest you guys really should get internal Zelle Portal like Chase Bank it makes it so much easier and more people have that. The internal pay a person is not easy and there is no way to change the security question or find the answer, also when trying to do an internal transfer I can’t add anyone’s account even though all the information is correct. Please make it simpler or something better.
Not just a bank
Y-12 FCU isn’t just a bank, There employees at Clinton Hwy can get whatever banking needs done.
Total downgrade
This used to be one of the best banking apps. Charges were almost instantly shown in accounts and the UI was seamless. Now it takes days for most charges to show up and reflect on your balance and logging in is always buggy. Really the whole app is buggy now. Wish they never updated it and stuck with the old app.
