New update
New update has caused issues with my subscription needs fixing
At beginning, I was getting Countless amounts of ‘Pop Ups’ Notifications saying “McAfee Expire/Renew
From that point, it interrupted usual operating of my laptop! After hours of not knowing how to get laptop to the function normally, I got thru ‘chats’ wMcafee virtual support personnel till I asked for ‘live’ help! I was contacted by “Yeal” who after I told him what I had been through, he without further discussion got my permission to enter my laptop and he resolved my problem of getting my laptop back to ‘normal’ operation without McAfee popup interference ‼️👍🏼
Countering Spam
McAfee seems to do a great job helping one to avoid spam
Chugs battery
On my i6 SE this app drinks my battery like there is no tomorrow. I can literally watch it go down. You should wait to purchase until this is fixed! Received standard response.
Good app but…
Good app easy to use and I haven’t noticed it slowing my device. I did find it a bit frustrating when getting sent a verification security code to your email, if you leave the app to open the email on the same device, when you return to enter the code it automatically generates another code rendering the previous code invalid. So basically you need 2 devices one to keep the app open and the other to retrieve the verification code. This is obviously an inconvenience if you are out and about with no access to a second device. If you can fix this McAfee I will happily give a 5 star review.
🙉
My VPN keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. And now it showed my real location on Google. Not really ideal for security. Also to add: I was randomly signed out and the app won’t let me sign back into my account. I had to use a one time pass code to login. I’m contemplating on leaving this app for another as my VPN constantly disconnects and is now signing itself out. Now because the VPN disconnecting it left me vulnerable. I recently had someone sing into my Instagram and another app not long ago. It’s not ideal when I’m paying money for this.
Need to know
It would help if when a suspect site was blocked, if the site was listed so one would know not to click on that site again!
Wow
I have been deep diving into the app for 75 minutes, a lot of benefits and power. The only part I find detracting, for example, you will get a queue, “let’s clean up.” ; and when you act on it , you are asked for an additional fee . But the action is presented as if was included in your current subscription
App not working at all !
My phone has been hacked ! McAfee ignores my comments !
Dark Mode
Please add Dark Mode option to your app. Thanks
Okay product
The protection is just okay, but I wouldn’t recommend McAfee to family or friends. I currently looking into other alternatives.

Savior (probably)
THIS SAVED MY PHONE ON TIME WHEN I TRYIED PLAYING PHASE 1000 IT GAVE MY PHONE A VIRUS BUT WHEN LOGGED IN IT SAVED MY PHONE! There’s a flaw though like can we just be protected without being logged in!? Even when I tried using Duolingo it just didn’t let me making me turn off VPN
Reluctant subscriber
When trying to activate one of this company’s features, I was unable to do so because I was required to have a gmail account which I will never do. I only kept this account because there doesn’t seem to be an alternative that is not American owned.
App works but
I’ve found since the latest update the VPN icon at the top of the screen keeps flickering mainly when you’re in an app for the first time. App Store does it a lot and now and then drops connection. Sent a log report explaining the same issue but not heard back which was over a week ago
Best security protection ever🙌🏾🔥🙌🏾🔥🙌🏾
I am so glad that my security is being protected
Day to day
VPN keeps turning off. Can’t get into a lot of things. Just sits and spins This web site sucks. I can’t get into most of the options Just leaves a blank screen or doesn’t let me in.
Probleme beim öffnen
Ich kann die App auf meinem IPhone 15 nicht mehr öffnen. Beim Klick auf den weiter Button passiert nichts.
Waste of time for email scams
McAfee claims to scan emails …..it doesn’t….I get up to 10 phishing/scam emails a day and McAfee has not flagged up a single one.

iPad scanned by scammer claiming to be McAfee
After entering password while trying to link YouTube to Samsung TV a link ‘ye-be/activate’ supposedly to YouTube plus a code appeared on the screen which I put in on my iPad. Immediately, a message appeared from ‘McAfee’ saying they needed to scan my iPad immediately as they had detected an infected virus which I allowed in my panic. It was a scam so now I am left with wondering whether the scammer has left a link to all my iPad’s content….
Fine until it’s not..
I have had this happen a few times now but once whilst I was travelling; the VPN, for a reason unbeknownst to me, will randomly, very occasionally, will shut off any connection to signal and data rendering the phone useless. It took me an entire day to figure out it was the problem. Uninstalled and my data and signal worked fine. I ended up finding the answer that it was the VPN blocking signal from a Reddit thread! So it’s a known issue from over a year ago. Just not been fixed.
McAfee: Stay Secure & Private
I really like this build in virus protection app McAfee. It has really made my interest a lot easier. Keep up the good work computer engineer’s.

Used to be good
What has happened to this App? Used to be one to rely on as being one of the best but sadly I now find it quite annoying! What is the point of safe browsing if it randomly turns off, lost count of the times in one day that I have to switch it back on. Have uninstalled it and reinstalled, deleted and unsubscribed and then reactivated. If it doesn’t get fixed then I will go elsewhere, feel it’s a waste of time and money at the moment, so please fix this issue. Thank you
It’s ok
pls make safe browsing free I recently got viruses
Scam company
Have a scam company that keeps popping up on my laptop posing as window security and they got a number to call and Google says that Microsoft won’t give you a phone number to call them if they find something on your computer so I installed McfAee to stop them
Not accurate
How the heck could my credit score go from 816 to 300 overnight? My credit accounts have not changed.
