Did not get what I paid for, no matter how many times I contacted customer service.
I’ve been using invoice simple for years. Eventually upgraded to the premium £19.99. Every month my account would revert to basic features at random. I would contact customer support about this issue and they would solve it temporarily. My last complaint is still un answered and I’m currently being ignored after I asked for a refund as I’ve never actually had what I’ve paid for. Very disappointing they obviously aren’t the caring company they used to be. Answering your response - I’ve tried emailing , I’ve tried contacting you through the in app chat, I tried calling the contact number which connect me to some hospital care plan line. I’ve now had to go down my bank and actually block my subscription and contact the fraudulent team to get my money back for what I haven’t received from you. So your AI developer responses are just as useful as your actual customer service.
YOU CAN ONLY INVOICE A CERTAIN NUMBER OF INVOICES PER MONTH
I’ve been using invoice simple for well over a year now , it’s an amazing app! My review would have been a 5* but after only doing 4 or so invoices this month, it won’t allow me to do so unless i upgrade to a higher plan ( I’m already subscribed on another plan ) it was disappointing, invoice is literally in the name of the app , having a subscription but being limited to no more than 5 invoices is a deal breaker for me , I have cancelled my subscription and will be moving back to invoice home .
Creeping price increases
Changed to this after i2g pricing exploded. This 'was' cheap but omg so basic like a kid produced it. I'm now seeing a 43% increase since March for exact same. They say online it's improving, where? I see nothing. I've asked so many times for this and that to be added and nothing happens. You can't even click to sort invoice numbers sequentially or add a PO number(oh sorry, you have to use the app only for that...wtf? In a breath I'd be back to proper software like i2g if anything else goes up. You are being watched (your customers aren't 'simple'.
Disappointing price increase
I’ve been using this app fir years and didn’t mind paying for it but it’s now started to only allow a certain amount of invoices a month and then another price increase! Really disappointing. It’s a shame and I am looking for another app to replace it.
Top app
I use this everyday. Easy to use. Send invoices and estimates daily. Keeps records of all my customers. Easier to share info with my accountant. Easy for keeping my expenses. Tried all the others found this is the best.
Bunch of thieves
I’ve been using Invoice Simple for many years and was generally happy with it, but the latest pricing changes are unbelievable. Charging up to £19.99 per month just to create and send invoices is excessive. What was once a simple, reasonably priced invoicing app now feels like a cash grab. Long-time customers seem to have been forgotten in favour of squeezing more money out of users. Unfortunately, I won’t be renewing my subscription and will be deleting the app. Very disappointing to see a product I’ve used for years go down this route.

Sneaky price rises
I have used invoice simple for years. But today after making my monthly payment, it locked me out of my account stating that if want the services I was using yesterday, I will now have to upgrade to the premium plan. I’m now going to use another company. Greed is often the downfall of many a good thing.
Price Hike / Bad app
You have raised your prices, the app is good so I was like okey, I’m happy to pay. However, i take a simple photo of my expenses just to see constantly: PROCESSING FAILED, have to tap this again to see the “failed” again, then I tap again and successfully uploaded. So, I will give you a week or you will lose the customer, I’m fed up with this.

Excellent app
Keeps getting worse!
I signed up to this app maybe 4/5 years ago. At first it was great, I was paying for the premium service, and then it was taken over by new ownership. Since then the price has more than doubled, and the service being offered is very minimal. There’s no additional benefits unless you sign up to additional packages, and my ‘grandfathered-in’ package is restricted. It goes up £2-3 a month every 4-6 months, which for a basic invoicing template is extortionate! Wouldn’t rate it. Genuinely disappointed with the service and accessibility.

Too expensive and not enough working features
I have used this app for years but at £15 a month it doesn’t work that well. If I need To find an invoice I have to know their exact name, it doesn’t allow me to search for dates. Like other ones do. Invoices have been deleted, half my customers names have gone. For £15 a month you would anticipate they would send reminders or reminders To you that an invoice is due but everything is manual. There are a lot better systems out there for cheaper so unfortunately I will now be moving away from this system
Good but expensive
Ive used this app for years but the continuous price increases is becoming not worth the value for what you get. I will move to XERO and get much more value for the price point. Yes I understand that there has been “improvements “ made by the company but its now not worth the money.

Was a great invoice app, I normally only have to send 4 invoices a month. I now get 3 with the £6.99 monthly subscription. I’m not paying £12.99 a month just so I can get an extra invoice. Joke prices

Use to be great
I’ve used this app for a number of years and it’s been great. Suddenly the price has gone up to £100/year for sending over 10 invoices per month. It’s simply no longer good value and sadly I’m now looking at alternative options. I’ll discontinue using this as soon as I find a better solution.
The 10 invoices a month is a no go
It’s killing the app and like me I’m guessing other will look elsewhere the old subscription was so much better now with the new changes they are pushing existing customers away or forcing them to pay more Abit ridiculous

Huge Price increases !!!!! Don’t get this app!!!
This was the app I chose when I decided to go on my own . In 2017 I just wanted to keep it simple, only wanted to send invoices, it been great, but out of nowhere, I could no longer send an imvoice, as it said I needed to upgrade, to 12.99 a month, but due to the amount of invoices I send, I would need to pay 19.99 a month. I think the price increases are absolutely disgraceful and this company should be completely ashamed of the way they think they can just hike their prices at such an extortionate rate. I’m a man of principle, and for that reason there’s no way I am giving this company best part of £240 a year to send invoices. G
A good app - but ever increasing in price.
Have used this app for the past few years, with price increases every year and locking certain features. Now they are limiting the number of invoices you can even send per month. Once my year is up I will change app, shame.

I have been using it for a longer time. When I started, it was £5.99 per month. It was good. Now it’s being gone up to £200 per year. Sadly I need to look for another app. It’s not worth for 200.

Basic app with expensive subscriptions that increase mid term and freeze if you don’t pay!
I have used this app for a number of years however I have renewed my yearly subscription about a month ago I think it was for around £100 and yesterday they froze the app and want double more than my subscription to use more than 10 invoices a month. I’ve paid for a year with no mention of an increase and have no choice but to pay more in order to send out invoices. I have emailed support who replied at 2am and closed the query down at 4am because I did not reply. It used to be value for money but the developers are getting greedy for what really is a basic app with very little support when you need it. I’ll use it until the end of the tax year to make it a simpler transition to another app and find something else I suggest you do the same.

Been using this app for 5 years and love it. But unfortunately they have now introduced invoice limits unless you get the new top package !! It stated of £7 per month. Then £10 now they want £20. I will be leaving :(

Absolute joke this, I’ve happily used this simple program to make many invoices for the many many years no bother £6:99 a month. I don’t use any features I just want it simple and it was that. I send out many invoices for every little job I do being a contractor. Suddenly today I get a “1 invoice left upgrade” very strange I thought check subscription, yeah all fine contact support. We’ve adjusted our pricing, sorry it’s now £20 a month!! Didn’t tell me that I’ve now only 3 invoices a month for £6.99 when they auto took my cash 2 days ago. If this was communicated, you know maybe an email letting long term customers know in advance of the price hikes we could have cancelled before. What good to anyone is 3 invoices a month. Very disappointing and frankly just a rip off. I’ll never use this program again. Laters

I’ve been using Invoice Simple since 2017, back when it was free, and I’ve stuck with it through every price increase. Unfortunately, the latest change is a step too far. Charging £12.99 per month while limiting users to just 10 invoices is a massive drop in value. What used to be a simple, fairly priced app now feels like it’s designed to force users into more expensive tiers. There’s been no meaningful improvement to justify this — just more restrictions. Honestly, it’s not even worth one star at this point, but that’s the lowest rating available. Loyal customers have been completely overlooked.
Helpful but
It does the job of making a professional level invoice but was wondering why it keeps freezing into a white screen, so app needs to be closed and reopened. Sometimes changes are saved, sometimes not. Was hoping the update addressed that, but sadly it still happens.

Prices went from £50 to £200 mid contract no loyalty to their customers. Been with them for 5 years. Refused to honour contact so i left. Beware!!
