Confusing Mixed Invoices!
The new version or update mixes the unpaid and paid invoices it makes everything confusing I will cancel my subscription and ya’ll should too! unless it gets fixed like it used to.
Great app
My only problem is that the website functionality and the app functionality have never been consistent - interfaces and features between the 2 of them are difficult which makes it frustrating to use at times (most notably when charging in different currencies).
Recent update
My rating is solely for the recent update - I cant find some options I often use. Its basically just harder to navigate through smh.

I been using this app for 9 years almost and it makes my life easier. Until recently the font size was great for folks to read it, my self included. NOW I have to get a magnifying glass to read it my clients as well! Can you change the font to a readable size??? If not, I will have to find another way … ;(

I don’t like how you can’t copy your invoices anymore!
I did love this app and then you changed the layout. Put it back!!! This is a time waster now! I pay good money for this app and now it’s a complete waste of time!

Been using app for many years this new template update don’t like old one much better also been a couple of day I created invoices on app and a few hrs later don’t see them tried the desktop version and they there tried all the different devices I have still no luck
Keeps Loosing company logo everytime
The app keeps loosing the company logo that I setup and now the logo no longer showing on my invoices. It’s not the first time this happening. Have done the logo setup over 6 times now and am frustrated. Why does it have to loose the logo and send an empty invoice? Makes me look like a fraud to my clients.

Started charging with no opt out. Was working fine for yearsi.. went to create an invoice today and it would only give me the option to subscribe for $129 a year and no opt out or ability to continue using the app… total bs
Great app for small businesses
I have about 7 months with this app and it hasn’t failed me. I use the tap-to-pay feature, works like a charm. ONLY THING I WISH is a feature to allow the customer to sign with their finger on my phone. Instead of sending it to them and having them put the email and all that. Older customers aren’t to tech savvy for all that. So that would be great to have soon.
Expensive
Sad this was free and they hiked up the price. As a freelancer and using the invoice sparingly during the year doesn't warrent this price. Developers should use the same pricing model as HP Smart printing. Have a set tier price as per the number of invoices used in a given period, and have a rollover option. I may use one invoice a month but maybe 5 the next. I get the creators need to be paid but it seems cheeky to hook you in, then charge you down the line. Couldn't they have advertisers in the app instead of charging users??
Can’t edit the notes
When notes are added, key board pops up and can’t edit the note page

This is the best app for sending invoices. It’s so easy to do. Just one question. How do I update my email?
FRAUD: If it could be zero, it would - DO NOT USE THEM
No communication except automated emails & bots. It is now 27 days since bookipi charged my credit card. My vendor has STILL not been paid. Several emails with no response. Multiple automated responses to our inquiries asking for ‘patience’. A series of emails from both me and the vendor provided full documentation, and resulted in more automated emails with canned responses, asking for patience. I am going to give up and declare the transaction fraudulent with my credit card, meaning I now have to get a new card issued - thanks bookipi.
Great app
I have been using this app for years now and it has honestly worked very well for me. It is now changed to paid and I would have appreciated a notification before the change so I am able to decide my next move. That being said though, thank you for the many years of a great app for free with all the financial information summarised and easily accessible. One issue I had was that I could not see what is sent to the customer. Is there a potential to add cc on to the email just so I can confirm the layout and everything
Not Free anymore
Was using this app for a few years, was very happy with it as I don’t send out a lot of invoices but now after the update they £60 a year to do the same thing. Very disappointed by this move. Going to be using another app now.
Great when it works
I use the free version great for making a quick invoice if you don’t mind the watermark. But often when I try to create an invoice it just spins and spins, and it doesn’t work unless I delete the app and reinstall it. Also no button to convert a quote to an invoice.

Scamming
This app will scam the invoice sender and client with surcharges and fees. My setting are fully set up to make sure the client covers all applicable fees. After some time I noticed that I’m getting charges for those fees. After getting through their annoying “AI help” bot I got ahold of a real person. Basically just giving general statements like “if the customer pays the fees then you won’t” and “make sure your settings are set up correctly”. I sent picture evidence that my setting have been set up properly and ask for them to proved proof that they haven’t been double dipping surcharges. I have been waiting 4 days for a reply which I suspect will never come. STAY AWAY they will scam you. Very tempted to escalate this issue with the banks and have them look into this apps transactions.
Nice app but ruined it because of forced subscription.
This app used to be great, but forcing users to subscribe just to create invoices is unacceptable. Many freelancers and small businesses only need a few invoices each month. A limit of 5–10 free invoices per month would be reasonable, but removing invoice creation entirely unless you pay is disappointing. This update has ruined an otherwise useful app. … Very disappointed with the recent update. I chose this app because I could create invoices without needing a subscription. Suddenly making basic invoice creation a paid-only feature is unfair, especially for freelancers and small businesses who only need a few invoices each month. At the very least, users should be allowed 5–10 free invoices per month. Removing such a basic function entirely feels like a money grab and has made the app much less useful for occasional users. Please reconsider this decision and introduce a reasonable free tier. Even with some add is also acceptable and that make the developer profit as well.
Getting annoying
This the second time I’m being charged twice on my phone and iPad after canceling my subscriptions on both. Imagine paying 12.99 on three devices 2 of the devices uses the same iCloud . This is getting annoying honestly

Pretty Good
I have been using this app for about 2 years for my small business. I love the ease of use and the simplicity. I was bummed when they started charging, but since I was so dependent on the free free version I had to pay. I wish they incorporated a way to seamlessly accept down payments.
Sending a invoice
Theres no option to send your invoice off after the newest update, the app had gone down hill it didn’t need changing.
This is an ok app
I cannot see when typing into the description box then if I try to scroll down the keep board closes then when you click the description box the key board hides the text and Cannot see what I’m typing. Also it seems auto correct doesn’t work well with this app
Excellent App for my business
I use this app daily for estimates/invoicing in my small contractor business. It’s been a great help.
Sold out
I used to love the ability to estimate and bill clients as a super small business. Not that this company sold it to adds and no longer catering to their small customers I am on the hunt for a new lover of my business. No heads up to the change really told me they donor care
Technically solid, shame about new free limits
I use it for all my invoices, very easy to use. Technically very sound, shame about the recent limits put in place on the free version. I think paid UPGRADES would be better rather than limiting simple invoices so 4 stars

Been buggy since they switched over to subscription. Currently been unable to update invoice prefix and number sequence…
Stop updating
Stop updating the app and changing the format. Every update it gets worse. Also why so many updates? If people are using it why do you continue to change it?

Consistently downgraded
I have used bookipi since 2020. They have consistently worsened the app with each addition… It’s weird how much better this was when it was free.
Invoices
I lovee this app for my invoices but I rarely use it sometimes so now that they are charging I’m not sure if I’d say it’s fair since I barely use it besides for item list purposes & such small invoices.
Useless for me now after update
It was a great app but since updating I cant use it now. I use to be able to itemize separate day cost but now it will only do one item cost. I cant use it anymore.
Great- but occasionally bugs out
I have used this app for 2 years and loved it for invoicing clients for my cleaning business. However it has happened multiple times in the past few months that I will open app to make an invoice, and it immediately shows me the upgrade options and wants me to pay to continue. Does not let me make my invoice, which is extremely frustrating.

Like a few of the users here I have been using this software for a while. My use is very low and although I have months where I might send out about 4 or 5 invoices there are others where I send out none. I like this app it’s convenient and has been useful in helping to promote my professionalism and keep good records of my invoices, however the new payment structure makes me consider whether I can afford to use it over a 12 month period. This is why I think a two tier system based on usage would work better. Even offering a loyalty price for those who have been long term customers would be a reward in itself. I understand the need for subscriptions but do feel that it would have been nice to have had some say in this going forward. Finally, I would rather not leave and hope that this is looked at as a way of retaining those who are existing customers.
Not free anymore
I’ve been using this app for years and it’s absolutely brilliant. I do understand that things come out a cost however I cannot justify spending what they would like me to pay. I do not send that many invoices if I was sending hundreds and hundreds I could understand but I’m not. For this reason, I have stopped using and I am now using another app which is also very good but free
Great app, pricing shock.
I’ve used this app for years and do understand everything costs but from nothing to a substantial cost has made me reconsider. Remember there are other applications that do a lot more for a similar amount. I’m thinking about returning to QuickBooks accounting. But hopefully you will reconsider your price structuring. But I wish you all the best. Because the ease of use is fantastic.

Updates
App updates are making it more tedious to generate an invoice. Within last year, the number of steps touches, and time needed to generate an invoice has dramatically increased. Thinking of changing to an another app. Usually latest update is giving me a rage.
Greatest app for small businesses but latest updates have teething issues
Great app and the latest version updates additions are awesome. Except now converting a quote(now estimate) to an invoice doesn’t load, the app freezes. And after recording payments, the sending receipt window is huge, doesn’t fit device screen. It looks like one is accessing a desktop app that’s not phone compatible on a phone. Please have a look at this. Thank you for all that you do, especially that it is free.
Disappointed
Bookipi has been wonderful up until now. I’ve used it for some years. Obviously I loved that it was genuinely free. Sadly, that changed to three free invoices per month in April, but now, suddenly and without due warning, this has been reduced to just one free invoice per month! It’s messed up my accounting big time and I’m not happy about it.
Loved this app
I loved this app all I used was to send off invoices but all of a sudden I have to upgrade to a year fee! Thinking about looking at other apps that I can send invoices with.
