What people like
- Super simple and easy to use
- Makes professional looking invoices quickly
- Great for small handyman jobs
What they complain about
- Weekly subscription is way too expensive
- Data disappears if you switch apps
- Charges even after canceling subscription
- Customer support is slow and useless
Does just what it should
Invoice generator works well for my handyman jobs. Receipt generator is a nice touch for customers. Does what it says
No customer support
This app is in association with tofu and thumbtack charging small businesses x2 I tried to reach out to a rep no answer
Easy invoicing
Easy to invoice. But In my opinion I could always be improved.
Not the easiest to use
Could not figure out how to export an invoice to a pdf and ended up paying for the weekly subscription thinking that might fix something. Ended up unsubscribing and deleting the app and opting to use google docs instead. Asides from that seemed to work well enough!
Good but…
The app is easy to navigate and very user-friendly. Straightforward invoicing that still looks nice. However, I think the subscriptions were falsely advertised. I was confident that my plan would be Monthly but when I started paying, it went Weekly? For that price? Planning to cancel.
Great!!
I use this app for years and is very good to me I totally recommend it

Easy to use
It doesn’t show homepage anymore
I can’t use this app any more when I open it,it just shows that I need to restore data but when I do it,it doesn’t show the homepage.Im disappointed
Great App However
It shouldnt be an extra fee on top of the subscription for things like adding pictures and adding colour to the invoices. The yearly fee should cover it. Anything more is greed. Other than that. Love the app
Can’t add logo
Can’t add my own logo which should be a feature
Easy to use
This app is easy to use and I really like to create a professional looking invoice to send to my customers
Waste of time
If you own an iPhone the Numbers app will do everything this can do and more. You also won’t get constant notifications even after turning them off. Save yourself a headache and avoid this!
Pretty Good App
I appreciate the simplicity of the app. It works pretty well for creating and sending estimates, invoices and paid receipts. I also like that you can run multiple businesses (max of 2 I believe) on one account. I look forward to future improvements that I'm told are coming by their very responsive chat support team, such as the ability to copy an existing estimate or invoice to make creating new estimates or invoices easier.
False advertising
It says you can have a free 7 day trial on the information page. But when you download it and start it’s only 3 days. The app is easy to use and I am otherwise happy. But disappointed in the false advertising.
Great
I love that app
Appalling Customer Service
Appalling Customer Service from the App and non-existent from the Stripe. There is an issue with my account where I am unable to get payouts from the app to my bank account. Waiting 1 month and still unable to payout. Contacted the customer service and waited 5 hours for a Hello response, even though the whole issue has been explained. I explained again and many hours later, the Customer Service is closed! Appalling service. I am sure the app works well when it works, but when it doesn’t, you don’t see your money and get no support.
Easy to use!
This invoice maker is easy to use. The only gripe I have is that my work disappears if I switch between apps during the middle of and invoice. It’s frustrating if I’ve put in a lot of work and I’m at the end of finalizing an estimate there should be a hold or some form of automated save when creating an invoice without me having to finish the invoice and go back and edit just to hold my place. Also the spacing doesn’t translate the same when I finish my line items so don’t expect an excel spreadsheet line items when you list everything out line by line. Hope this helps.
Good app
Really good
Scam, don’t trust!
Don’t trust this app. They charge you without your consent. It says to start a free trial but then they take your money. When you ask for refund they say they can’t give you one, even though I haven’t event used their service. SCAM!
Great invoicing software
Tofu is an amazing invoicing software I love all of its features and would recommend it it everyone. The only issue I have is there is no iPad compatible app so we know if this is in the making or if there will be one?
Great app
Love this app helps me so much with doing all the estimates and invoices for my company
Stay away from these
I purchased what I thought was a monthly subscription but it somehow turned out to be a weekly subscription, I sent one invoice which I would have had free in their trial and no chance of a refund of my two weeks money back as I didn’t realise….what out for the trap!!

I can’t separate amounts when I have different items with different pricing

Effective
Love this app, very simple to use and does what I need. Just wish it was cheaper, a one off payment rather than monthly.

Rubbish, at £6 a week, far to expensive when you calculate for a year.
Very good
