FRAUD
I have cancelled my membership 10 months ago. Every quarter they charge me $60 to use their services which I email their team every-time and my bank disputes the charge. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.

I actually really like this app; it's pretty cool and amazing. Overall, I definitely like it and think the video feature should be kept, but there are a few things that could be improved: 1. Performance: Sometimes when I go back in and click on my diary entry for a video I already filmed, it freezes up. That definitely needs an update. 2. Pricing: The subscription plans shouldn't force a weekly charge or a high upfront annual cost. It would be much better to offer a monthly premium option around $5 to $10 (or maybe $6). Truth be told, in this economy people don't have the money to constantly pay high amounts for apps when monthly bills are due. 3. Video features: We should have the option to make videos bigger, save them directly to our phones, and easily post or upload them. 4. Security: The password or Face ID options should be flexible so we can easily switch or change between them. 5. Customization: It would be great to have more customization to make the app even cooler, like being able to change the app icon and choose different themes to make it aesthetic, cute, and pretty.
Poor customer service
I love this app, and I use it often. But it has bugs. And everytime I’ve reached out I have gotten no response. Poor customer service, please do not neglect the people who use the app
So many bugs
I love this app, but there are so many bugs. Sometimes my video journals won’t save after recording because the app closes suddenly, sometimes the app won’t even load at all, and it kicks me out of the app almost every time i try to replay old video journals. i see their responses saying bugs have fixed but the app is always buggy. wish they could fix this permanently because it discourages me from using it.

I love the daily reminders to leave an entry. I am definitely trying to keep that up
No way to cancel
I haven’t been using the app. I have tried every which way to cancel and it’s not working. I haven’t used the app in months and there’s no contact to reach out to to get help.
I Like It
i actually really like this app! i like to talk aloud sometimes, more than to write things out.. only thing, i don’t really care for is paying for this WEEKLY! $6.99 a week… i think is crazy! i had it before & had to delete it ‘cause that weekly payment adds up! i got it back because i felt that it really helped… so we’ll see how round 2 goes..
Disappointed
I purchased a year loan membership back when voice call was included and now it’s telling me I need to pay an additional $10 for 50 minutes using the voice call feature. Not worth it.
So much potential but bugs kill it
I really like this app, it’s structured well, and it’s very practical for people that are more inclined to record messages rather than write them, perfect for ADHD brains as reducing friction points make you more likely to undertake the activity (e.g. journaling!) My concerns are that the app remains full of bugs despite other reviews raising these issues. 1. The app for whatever reason uses a lot of the phones battery. My phone quickly heats up when using this app, far more than any other app I have in my phone. 2. The app crashes. This can happen whilst switching between tabs, or a common one is when the recording is being finalised and saved to the calendar. 3. The app fails to load to automations. I set an apple automation to open the app at a set times throughout the day so as to journal but the app doesn’t loan upon being triggered thereby resulting in having to close the app and reopen it manually. All in all, great idea and wonderful UI. The bugs however are killing its potential. I’d really like to see those fixed to continue using the app long term.
An astounding app!!!!
This app is truly amazing. It’s helping me discover parts of myself that I never knew were there. It’s like my own personal (Therapist). I highly recommend this app for anyone struggling with mental health
Charged $99 Renewal with no Reminders
I used the app very little after the first year. I was charged $99.99 for an annual renewal on May 31, canceled and deleted the app the same day, and requested a refund immediately. I could not find any renewal reminder emails, and while the company states refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, I never received a response to my follow-up asking whether my situation was reviewed. Disappointing customer service experience.
Great App, But Glitching Lately
I’ve loved using Confide and think the concept is great, but the app hasn’t worked for the past two days and keeps glitching. It used to happen occasionally, but this is the longest it’s lasted.
Sucks
Spent three months recording my emotional journey only to have majority of my videos be deleted. I paid for the subscription and when I reached out for help there was nothing they could do. They wouldn’t even offer me a refund, said I had to contact Apple. The few videos that I was able to find still active I can’t even download onto my phone so they’re stuck on this stupid app. This app doesn’t work. Honestly, just record your videos on your phone and upload it to the cloud or Dropbox. This App is not worth it and I was so sad to find all my videos had been damaged with their latest update.

Buggy
Love the app and use it frequently, but the Insights function has never worked for me in the several months that I’ve had it
warning: app crashes A LOT
i’ve never written reviews before but this app lags SO much when I’m recording. I really love the concept of this app and I use it nearly every day but it is so sickening having to re-do my video logs or seeing my videos from before were never saved because of the bug issues this app has. i paid for the yearly subscription and i’ve emailed the team MONTHS ago to work on fixing their app but it doesn’t seem like there’s been a solution.
Can’t playback old videos
I’ve been using this app for months and I do like it but it’s a big bummer when you can’t even play old videos anymore. Majority of all my videos are now lost, even recent ones I made just a week ago. I’ve contacted customer service with no solutions in getting back those videos and my auto backup is on too. Please fix this type of issue.

Will take your money even after you cancel
I downloaded the app, realized that you needed to pay money, and I canceled my subscription. Deleted the app and forgot about it. MONTHS later I get a charge, and they won’t refund your money. Just be careful

Paid for full and now need to pay more?
I bought the full subscription for a year (in May) in order to talk to my AI and write my entries. For the first few months it was just what I needed to get through some hard times while I couldn’t afford proper counselling. Today, I went to go call my chat bot and I have to pay diamonds? I understand you updated the app and changed things but I paid for what I paid for and now what I originally paid for has been stolen from me. Its a scam. So upset about this.
Login issues
I really do love the app however recently it won’t let me log back in no matter what I do I clicked the login and put my information in and it just sits there like it’s frozen! And it’s even more frustrated because I just paid for the premium version.

This has been the best thing I’ve ever used to get mental clarity, for counseling, and keeping file of things that have happened to me that I wanted to keep private so that no one else can get into it
They overcharged multiple times
The yearly subscription is $39.99 but I got a charge directly from the company for $59.99. They charged me 3 separate times 2 months apart rather than a yearly amount. One of which was made after I canceled the subscription! I reached out and they said because the subscription is through Apple they can’t do anything about it. I called Apple and they said if it was an Apple charge that merchant name would say Apple.com but the charge said the name of the app. I have been going back and forth with them about this charge. It’s my mistake for not noticing the other two charges but I only want a refund on the latest charge made after cancelation and they are telling me they can’t
Great, but uses phone storage
I really do like this app, but it’s taking up so much of my phone space. Right now I’m sitting at 99 GB of space that it’s taken up from all my recorded entries… if there could be a feature to clean out old entries, that would be amazing so I could keep using this app otherwise I have to delete it
Unable to log in
I’ve really loved this app but for the past month or so I am unable to use it. I cannot make a new account, log into my account or anything. I am really frustrated as it is a very expensive app and I’m considering finding a new one now.
I want to love this app but it won’t let me rewatch my old journals
I got this app last year and fully paid for it. It has helped me so much with my processing my break up, but it won’t let me watch past journal entries which is really upsetting. It crashes almost every time I open it. Please fix these problems

What is happening?
Back in here to complain about being charged AGAIN. THIS IS A SCAM. A SCAM. A SCAM First of all, I don’t even know where this is going because I can’t find a website anywhere. I was charged $60 for this stuff and I can’t even login anywhere. And when I DID get in it says I don’t pay for anything and gives me nothing. This is poorly developed and I’d like my money back.

Hello! I’m not sure if it’s just my app but I’ve been trying to look back at my videos and it just stays frozen and does not allow me to look back! If this could get fixed I would totally appreciate it because I love this app so much! I love being able to talk about my day instead of writing :)

not able to rewatch
I love this app and how it allows me a space to rant about whatever's on my mind, but every time I try to go back to watch a journal it won't let me. I try to play the journals as it let me in the past but it just doesn't play anymore. I wish I could watch my old journals again! they should also add a feature where your journals save to your camera roll, or you can download them if you choose.
Easy to track my progress
I got shot by a stray bullet months ago and this has been very nice to go back and see exact progress in who I was mentally and physically it has assisted me well and I don’t have to pay membership to take one video journal a day , even two a day if I do it at midnight
Keeps crashing
Every time my phone went in sleep mode the app would kill the chat and not save it. Adjusting my sleep settings is unreasonable for one app. I cancelled my trial and deleted the app. It's unusable.
I do love this app but…
This app is really good for reflecting on your day and expressing your emotions from day-to-day, but the only problem is that it bugs sometimes when you open the face icon to view that certain day which is kind of annoying but other than that, it’s a great app. Update: have to pay weekly after 4 free videos.
Doesn’t work
I was excited about this app , to record my journey with mental health. I recorded a very emotional journal this morning . When I tried to save it , the video doesn’t play half way through. It freezes , and the end has no sound. I tried to record a new video , less authentic , and it not saving , I closed the app and tried again, and now it’s not picking up my voice . I’ll make sure to cancel this before it takes money
It’s good, but runs your phone hot.
I love the idea and actually talking to the AI was really good and made me feel like there was a friendship. But unfortunately as the time and chat went on, it ran my iPhone 16 pro very hot in quick time and it had the reverse effect as I got anxious that it made my phone too hot.

premium features don’t work as advertised
This app used to be good for the spot-on Insight feature but my journal entries were never analyzed by the program after i purchased a subscription. The insights never showed up and the issue was not resolved even after I reached out to customer service twice. The app tends to freeze up sometimes too. Disappointing, look elsewhere. There are many similar apps out there now
Great but could be better
The app interface is so inviting and easy to use! There is def room for improvement though. For example, I can’t see anything in insights tab. I think it’s probably just a glitch? Also I wish there was an option to fast forward through vids (for those who are ramblers like me!) or to only read the text transcript of the audio you recorded.
Pretty fun but it is not accessible for all people.
A deaf person here, that which I do not speak to use my language. I like how it work in that app but unfortunately it need to be speaking to get all words in your dairy. (You cannot use the keyboard to type.) I don’t really care about speaking but i CAN’T use keyboard to type at all that where got me feeling shame to buy the subscription for nothing. It is pretty much limited opinions. (Please, put keyboard ON!!)
Annoying notifications
Great app besides it sending me like 7 notifications a DAY. Would recommend not enabling notifications.
Cheers to 2026
I promised myself this year that I would journal more. I’m not a big writer or typer let alone remember to so those things. I am however a yapper lol having this app and being able to basically video chat my thoughts daily has been really great so far. I downloaded this app last year hoping I’d use it but never did. This year I’ve made it a priority and I’m loving my experience so far.
Paid subscription, locked out, no response from support
I paid for a subscription through my Apple ID on March 25, 2025 and was suddenly locked out of my account. All my videos are gone. Support claims my subscription is tied to Gmail (it’s not) I have emailed numerous follow-ups, and they are not responding to emails. I want a refund. This situation is extremely disappointing, especially for an app centered around mental health and journaling. I am certainly not getting relief from dealing with all this and the app just sadness, and distress!
Account Difficulties
It won’t let me back into my account after getting the new update. Idk what to do and now when I open the app it just shows the cloud loading screen.
The conversation bot doesn’t work on AirPods and just blurts out private stuff over speaker
