If you want to make a impact and help people who are struggling why would you make them pay just to talk to people ? Almost feels like your taking advantage of someone in a bad position, my opinion tho could be wrong.
Nearly perfect
Awesome app, saved my relationship and helped me feel heard when i feel like an outsider. A few minor teraks would include a dark mode because i mainly use it at night as well as a way to share quicker. Love the app though keep up the amazing work
Can’t hear in audio chats

It was good until it became about cash.
I got through many tough moments in my life using this app, especially when I was too afraid to talk to the person I thought I could trust and needed to be heard. Now as I am coming back to it for the third time, I see now we can’t even get into the meetings without having a plus subscription. I miss it because I loved talking and hearing others talked. I felt good being there for someone without needing to know them personally. I helped myself by helping others and now without a plus subscription I am back to being miserable and feeling stuck with no where to go. If this app was truly to help anyone, it would have never been behind a paywall but people have to make their money somehow.
The bugs aren’t fixed
At least for me, I keep trying to post and it won’t let me. But still 5 stars because it has been really helpful in the past and I just want to be able to post something while being anonymous again
Hellscape of an app
Update July 2026: RIP Hellscape, I mean humans.. you were tumultuous. Horrible app. The owner Nate changed the monthly fee (to use the main feature) from $2 a year to THIRTY DOLLARS A YEAR then completely abandoned the app Not to mention it’s a mini insane asylum meets highschool. Full of a bunch of 25-30 year old losers who make it their mission to form clickes and mass harassment and bully individuals they don’t want on the app. Nate is greedy and the app is messed up from a glitch for several months at a time. You’d have better chances of having a genuine conversation on Omegle than you would ever having it on here.
Pay or nothing
Yeah, because I wouldn’t pay to talk to other human beings it decided to only let me encounter a “internal service error“ which I took a screenshot of because I will be reporting this to the company, but yeah, don’t waste your time and definitely don’t waste your money because if you’re gonna pay money for any sort of like anonymous chat, go do it with that one with the envelope in the heart that really popular one on Instagram right now don’t come here and do it here because you can’t even get away with anything for free here which all of it should be free by the way
Used to be good
I used to come onto this app all the time. Amazing people, amazing advice, people listened and shared. It was a great community. Now you have to pay just to be able to talk, listen, or get messages from other people. Still a good app, just didn’t want companies to have to much self interest over the mental health of the people using the app.

5 stars because it was a good app when it first came out, now it’s trashy. Ppl come here to vent their problems, now you can’t even see what kind of advice others are giving you because you have to pay. Very greedy tbh, will be deleting and downloading another app
is something broken?
I don't see any posts on any of the feeds, and when I enter the only room where people seem to be hanging out, nothing seems to be going on. And there doesn't seem to be an explanation as to why.
sad case (if you're new please don't settle for this new version)
this app was amazing until they started to charge for everything. and now it's dead asf and boring. we came to just vent somewhere where people are willing to listen and share but now there's this whole hierarchy we tried to escape on top of just the whole pay to use thing... this used to be a safe space for all ages.
The app is not the problem.
I think the app itself is fantastic. The interface is user friendly/efficacious. Anyone who is remotely technologically literate can use it, but the majority of the users are not particularly tactful in social etiquette and this is largely problematic. A great deal of bullying and/or harassment occurs on what seems to be a daily basis. I have been witness to many occurrences of smear campaigning and defamation of character without also being witness to any real evidence backed claims made against the accused users. It’s really unfortunate as this platform could be a safe space for people to share personal experiences with one another in a uniform fashion wherein individuals of various backgrounds, race, culture, religion, sexual preference, gender identity, and otherwise could band together in devising solutions to their common challenges. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the platform- the issues have to do simply with the nature of its users. I really love this app in concept and theory. I’ve always thought it’s impressive in design. Unfortunately, without any real boundaries or guidelines for sharing, users tend to assume free-range in their conduct which is not always conducive to the well being of other users. I’ve heard that in previous versions, the developer of this application had employed moderators for the chats. This regulation would be beneficial to be in place again. People should be allowed the autonomy to share as they please but they should also be held accountable when directly inciting chaos and confusion or sewing discord among those who are peaceably seeking camaraderie. I have taken it upon myself to send reports to the developer which have been of no avail, so I don’t look for any major changes in the near future, but it would be nice to see some of the less desirable members permanently banned from accessing the platform.

I used used to love this
I don’t remember when i used this app last but it was free and great help for me i came back to share some of struggles and found out it cost money to basically do anything on the app now i cant afford it im broke unemployed and just want to be able to talk and vent without paying. I hope they take this into consideration for people who want the help but cant pay for it.

Haven’t used this app since 2023,had both positive/negative experiences.When it was free,you would be able to talk to so many supportive people but on the downside there was a lot of trolls/ people with bad intentions.I’m in a much better place now mentally and I hope everyone who I was connected with are doing better as well.They should create more mental health apps for free though for community.
Money, Money, Money
I used to have this app for years and it actually helped me heal with friend issues and other issues. I redownloaded it to realize it now costs money. I am a minor girl who wanted to share her feelings but can’t anymore because I don’t have the money. If you know what’s right, you should’ve kept talk spaces free, maybe avatars and stuff like that could’ve been plus but now I have nothing to help me.

This app used to be cool, this app used to be a place where you could go to vent if you were ever feeling down. Then they decided to make money off our mental health and trauma. But still the app worked. Sure the prices were steep but it was cheaper than therapy right? But now? Jeez bud, I know you’re at home baking bundt cakes or whatever but you need to get your app together. Cuz now the app is filled with bot accounts that make all the rooms appear super active, and since you can’t join a room until you pay, people end up paying just to go to a room with 92 inactive accounts. That’s true greed. Like it’s funny cuz it just shows how little the creator knows about his own app. EVEN IF all 92 of those BOT accounts were active, which I want to stress that they’re not, Nobody wants to vent about their trauma to 92 people. So when the rooms did have 15 people in em that’s when things were good. Get out the kitchen Nate and fix your app
idc if it's tariffs or not
you say "$2.49/month, billed yearly at $29.99" (if you can't tell i copy and pasted and it changed the size of font somehow) but when i went to pay it said "$39.99" get messed! that's bull spite and false advertisement! on a more understandable and genuine note; it would be great if in the future (i understand opening up these things take time) we could have 'communities' like dissociation, DP/DR, DID/OSDD, narcissism, BPD, and generally to see genuine apps like this contribute to the community of more stigmatized disorders as those are the hardest to find communities for.

It use to be good
Turned into a pay to play app, People use to come on here all the time for depression, now their money hungry. You can’t post anymore without paying for humans+ and you can’t chat without it either. It’s become a money hungry app.
Before/Now
I used to LOVE this app when it first came out. Now I don’t understand why I have to pay just to speak when before it wasn’t like that. I don’t always want to type I want to speak.

Used to be good
I found the app over an add-on TikTok and thought that I should download it because I needed advice and just people to talk to in general. The meetings that they have used to be free I would be able to express how I feel and people share their support as I would share mine with them. That socialization was meant to support all people, and you could join whatever subject you wanna be in whatever you related to. Now using the free version, you can still share your thoughts and opinions once a day but now you can’t even socialize whether it be before advice, emotional support, or just talking. I think it robs people the opportunity to seek out what they’re looking for..

from mom & pop to corporate cashgrab
i used to have this app a couple of years ago, and it genuinely helped me get over so much pain.. i redownloaded it again, and heres what i saw: 1. no access to my older account 2. you have to pay to get into the audio parts & group sessions, which is genuinely stupid as this is what the entire app is for. 3. you are required to pay for advice so yeah. this app that once had amazing intentions and a growing community of users healing together has turned into a total cashgrab. my advice? find a new app that’s free and use it there.

I was so excited having an app that was free where you can express yourself and get feedback. Very unfortunate that everything ends up being about money. Even something that helps people and their mental health..I guess money will always be more important.

This app used to be free. It helped a great deal to talk out ideas and concerns with adults (and young adults) anonymously and for FREE. I appreciated that children were not allowed. Not sure what happened but $30 a year for a microphone? Nah. I’ll wait for another app like it one to pop up. Back to my FREE spam youtube, reddit, and twitter accounts. *cracks knuckles, types away*
