Fun but Creepy Music
It’s fun but has creepy music and scary card man dancing which seems very seedy.
Not quite there
This would be a 5 star review if not for 2 things: 1) the banner add at the bottom 2) the lack of traditional black and red cards, instead one is only offered rather nasty coloured abominations that actually interfere with the experience
The computer lets you win
The computer goes out of its way to let you win. It’s actually pretty annoying that there is no skill involved in such a fun game. 1/5 The incessant popups begging me to change my themes are ruining this fun game. I’m requesting that Apple removes this from the Apple Arcade.

Needs Work
Simply put you are restricted to playing a computer. You cannot invite friends to play. Getting a two is rare while your AI opponents are throwing them around like they are candy.
I like this game but…
I don’t understand the purpose of the newly added feature of “reactions”since the opponents are programmed players. It feels like a waste of time if I’m not reacting to and getting reactions from actual humans.
Level Up Flaw
How can a card game get harder as you level up when in reality, cards are always, in real life, randomly dealt? This was fun at first then it got weird. I kept winning over and over at first. Then, as I got to a higher level I couldn’t win at all. In the beginning, because I kept winning, I was skeptical. Also, playing real people would be an amazing upgrade.
Too Controlling to Play Right
I enjoy this game. But, at least with playing with the AI so far, I’ve noticed that if you have the right card to continue play, it forces you to play right. A game shouldn’t prevent you from making mistakes. If I do a misplay and it costs me a hundred points, let me suffer the consequences. I feel it’s too controlling by not allowing you to draw instead of play or forcing you to play all copies of a card at once.

AI Balance is Awful
The balance was fine till the gold levels. Then the CPU players just keep coordinating their skips and draws 2s only against you. They’ll play a blue draw 2 multiple times in the game. They must have their own secondary deck to draw from.
Fun game
I like to play crazy eights because it’s pretty fun. However I want the option to be able to play without the skips, reverses and draw 2. I believe the original rules play the cards by matching rank or suit and the eights are the only special wild cards.
Cheats at higher levels
Skip, reverse, +2 stack repeat. Wild cards from AI never pick your color. Opponents can tell when you're close to winning or have a superior hand and they'll change cards on you or skip you for several turns in a loop of skips and reversals. When cards have to draw they draw cards they can use immediately more than the human player ever can. It's not randomized.

The AI has been designed to draw whatever is needed at the moment to ensure whatever outcome it needs right then. Further, there are predictable patterns to the cheating, to the degree that I can hold my phone up to someone else and tell them what the next play or draw will be. Should be a great game. It cheats.
Fun but…
Ok so I have several games from this developer. They are all well made and fun. They eventually all get kind of frustrating because it seems that the increase of difficulty as you move up through the levels is just a series of increasingly unlikely situations. That’s obviously easier to program than actually increasing strategic difficulty and I play regardless but I do find myself wondering how the player before me always seems to have several draw 2 cards while no one else does.
Not what it says on the box
3 deal breaking issues: 1- Ever played a game where the tutorial just. doesn’t. end.? Well this is that game… Take more than half a second to contemplate your options and the game will start nagging you “this is what you do” as if you need a hint to know that you can’t play your 3 of clubs on a king of diamonds. I play quite fast and even then the game forces a “hint” on me. 2- this is not crazy eights. Crazy eights does not by default have a feature of “I want to play a 4 of spades, so let me add my 4 of clubs and my 4 of hearts on the same turn”. Neither is there a skip opponent turn nor a pick 2 card. Where is the “pick until you can play” option? Why is there a golf point system? Crazy eights is beautiful in that you can customize it however much you want, this game has all those customizations put in, but you can’t turn them off to get the original game. 3- You can’t misplay, if you fail to see a card that could be played from your hand and try to pick up, the game will angrily tell you off for it. Yes, technically it’s against the (base) rules to pick up when you don’t have to, but part of the fun is to be halfway through picking up cards, and realizing you could’ve played all along, but now you cant stop because you are picking until you find a card. Al in all, this is just a glorified point and click adventure game where they got lazy to develop visuals, so rebranded it to crazy eights
Why am I forced to play cards?
The game doesn't let you draw even if you don't want to play a card. Maybe I want to hold my +2 or color changing 8. It is very annoying, they don't force you to play 2 in a row but you have to play a card if you have one.

Fun until the AI cheats
This game is fun and I enjoyed playing it, but once I got into Gold levels, it was clear it was cheating. The AI players suddenly had skips and reverses over and over to keep me from playing, as I got close to winning they suddenly drew a +2, and when I would have the opening play, I would often have to use the wild to play. The AI will also frequently change the color right before my play to the only color I don’t have. I get the game needs to get a little harder as you progress, but this is just cheating pure and simple.

Game Cheats So Bad!
I initially enjoyed this game even though it was obvious that it would conveniently change cards that the ai players had as it chose to but then it’s decided it has to up the difficulty. It’s supposed to be a casual chancy card game. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose there is no need for it to cheat. I don’t want to play a game that’s supposed to be relaxing only to be getting mad because it’s always cheating. I will be finding a different game to relax with and deleting this one.
One major issue
This same game developer makes decent card games with one major issue. The way they make the game harder as you level up is to simply bash you without even giving you a chance. Skill doesn’t come into play cuz you don’t even get to play. You get skipped constantly; you get more cards handed to you cuz you can’t play any, etc. It’s not even fun at that point. Just leave the game to chance. Stop making it “harder “ by making it unplayable.
Unicorn!
Hi there! Developers please read this message. I want you to give people the option to have avatars that other ‘people’ have. For example Sparkle. Sparkle is a unicorn and of course, I love unicorns. But, since Sparkle is a unicorn, I can’t have a unicorn as an avatar. Please make it an option for you to be able to have saved avatars. Like you could have two avatars, like I have a sword. But I want a unicorn (which ‘someone’ already has) but I also want to keep my sword. Please do that developers!
Fun but CPU get unlimited color changes/draw 2/skips a game etc
It would be more fun but there’s flaws. A) figure out what color CPUs have and I’ve seen them draw 5 straight color changing cards in a row multiple times. Not realistic. B) it’s like they know when I have a draw 2 because they constantly change the colors so I have to play mine, only to have to draw 4 when it gets back to me. Little things like that to make the game more “competitive” but obviously unrealistic is why I’m uninstalling.

What’s with the “special opponents”?
I’m annoyed that as soon as I pull ahead of a special opponent and progress to the next lever, the same character is already there and 21 points ahead of me. What with that? Also the game opponents have a remarkably common ability to hit you with three +2 cars in a row. 3 stars from frustration.

A game about bullying
I reviewed this game nearer release on Arcade but after a further few weeks I am unsure why this game was made. The fact that it is against bots is such a mistake since each match is just seeing what malicious way the three bots will gang up on you. Several games have been +2, +2, skip, skip, skip, rotate, rotate, +2, game end. Without me getting a turn to even react. Also do the bots just have a stockpile of colour change cards?? Constantly changing to colours they don’t even have. If you are okay with rigged games then this game is great. If you have a little respect for yourself, don’t play this. Wait for UNO which is releasing on Arcade soon.

Buggy
Need to fix the bugs. My game freezes a lot. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, which didn’t help one bit. It’s an ok game. Nice way to kill a few minutes

Once you hit a certain level the computer just games you. No strategy. They have the edge, you lose.

Horrible Coded
Horrible game. The only way they make it harder is the computer starts gaining up on you. Once you get to silver 1 the computer will play 8s to change it back to the color that another computer player with only one card left has made it obvious its the color they need to go it. Game is 0 fun.
Option to disable daily goals
Please add an option to turn off daily goals. I don’t care about them so find them annoying and not helpful. It interrupts the flow of the games.

It’s Crazy 8s. It’s fine. And then between rounds it shows footer ads for the developer’s other games. Uninstalled.
Cheating AI
The AI cheats both for and against you. It gets very obvious the more you play. It doesn’t entirely kill the fun but sometimes i almost delete the game over it.
